An Hour in Raffles Place..

Everyday lunch time is a challenge for me as i got to think of new places to go to eat!

Today we went to Golden Shoe market and have fish soup..the queue is long but food is good.not oily and too salty..seems guilt free to me..I thought that I will smell bad when i step out of the market but amazingly i still smell of my Loewe perfume..heehee..

After which we went to caltex house to buy my favourite dessert..YAMI YOGHURT! There are booths and fairs at the caltex house and it seem so popular..people are crowding to see the perfume fair and 8 days have a promotion there."Buy a copy of 8 days/I weekly,get a goodie bag worth $6 free" The goodie bag consist of fruit tree new flavour - cranberry pomengranante & apple, Marigold - Oat Milk , Alive - Low fat strawberry yoghurt and supposingly a packet of Nutritea which they run out and they replace with another yoghurt.
At the perfume fair i come across a Bvlgari perfume which is pink in colour named Rose Essential which cost $209! But it smell great though.. I like Bvlgari perfume, they are long lasting and nice-smelling..but too expensive..

So verdict of today's lunch is good but spent alot of $..$3 on fish soup,$3.45 on yoghurt, $2 on I weekly.

Thats why they say working in CBD area are no cost saving..

Sweet 27th..

This year i had a slightly different type of birthday celebration..its with a whole group of my good frends..Lets start from the morning..

When I was preparing to go to work..Kerry give me a tinkle and told me that he will send me there..good..I was thinking..I can sleep again in car..heehee..after i board his car..he showed me 2 red eggs!! he said that he woke up early to do that for me..so touching..and in the end i did not fall asleep..


In midnoon as I was busy through my work,i received a bouquet of flowers from kerry.. Thats not all..I received a bithday card from him as well..and he did it all by himself..I am so proud of him..he cut and paste the photo himself but with the help of joyce to resize the whole file orelse it will be too big..

After work I meet up with celine and joyce to have dinner..we had sushi tei for dinner and proceed to ktv session..


Halfway through the session,they sing the birthday song for me and suddenly kerry appear from nowhere with a blackforest cake in hand..




I was rather surprised as I didnt expect him to come as he told me he is being held up at work..


Well..we did the usual of cutting the cake and receiving presents from them..

This is from joyce..very bling and light keychain although it look big..thinking of how to utilise this as my housekey cant be squeeze in..maybe use it as a bag decor..

FOOD!!

Spent my Saturday in JB eating all my favourite food...Lunch I had Bak Kut Teh at one of the coffeshop which is very famous for it..Normally we would order separate sets..His will be pure Bak Kut..Mine will be only golden mushrooms,button mushrooms and pacific clams and WITHOUT Bak Kut..haha..Strange to eat that without the main Bak Kut right? But this is me..

Next went to JUSCO trying to get some top for my office wear but in vain as MANGO and GUESS are not having any SALE there..But I had my favourite Tako Su..which could not be found in Singapore..

Tako Su is actually tako in sweet vinegar..the taste is hard to explain and my good friend Celine also enjoyed it with me..But too bad this time she is in Genting with Hubby and could not join me..

Had a long hot lunch yesterday noon..my colleagues and I walk to chinatown market. The one which is located opposite Subordinate Court..It took us 20 mins to walk there! OH MY GOD..

New Job..

Hi all..Just to inform u guys that I am back to desk bound jobs again..come to think back there are really pros and cons in office and retail jobs.

Sales Line

• able to walk around and interact with people
• walk and stand as a form of exercise BUT..
• long retail hour
• no free time after work except off days

Office Jobs

• 8.30 to 5.30pm job enables more free time BUT...
• backache cuming back to haunt me!

Currently I am with UOBKayHian Pt Ltd as a HR Officer.Its located at UOB Plaza 1 which is next to Boat Quay. My colleagues are friendly and manager although long winded but kind. I think my portfolio includes training and development of the staff and trading representatives/remisiers beside normal HR duties..Currently still waiting for job to be delegated to me.Working hours are from 8.30 to 5.30pm. lunch time at 12.30 to 2pm..after my 1st day of work I finally understand what does it means by 'chopping' place with a packet of tissue paper..I am rather alarmed when i saw my colleagues do it.Unsure as well as I do not wana buy back my food only to see that my seat is taken! But true enough the packet of tissue paper is still there when we are back and mind you the foodcourt is really crowded. 1 packet of tissue paper represent 1 person..So its not uncommon to see packets of tissue papers lying around!

Luckily my lunch time is rather long as we followed the Singapore Exchange time..so even there is no seat,we can afford to wait..But nice experience to work in the CBD area..something different from what i experienced in the past.

Hope that I will survive long in this job cos the benefit is really not bad..

Birthday Plans?

Haiz..Birthday drawing near but it doesnt seem appealing to me...Lots of events normally happen on my Birthdays e.g...Break ups,Losing of Handphones and other bad events! And all happen on the same day! Which is my birthday...Maybe its destined for me not to celebrate..

So this year I am not going to do anything and see watelse is going to happen! nothing could be worse than wat happen 2 years ago i think...So I am going to enjoy my birthdays to the fullest this year but without celebrati0ons...

Happy Sweet 27th Birthday...

Haiz...27 liao still single...If lucky can be a mother of a 7 year old kid liao ! Better do some soul searching soon..
