LV outing at KTV

Finally we manage to get a ktv room after work yesterday nite..we went to Party World at Orchard..I have a VIP card so we are entitled to 10% off and 1 for 1 drinks! Its a bargain!

This photo of Angeline and me was reshoot so many times as that princess comment that her face is too big! Kaoz...

Let me touch on some of her character... she prefer to sing Jay's song and not afraid of embarrasing herself..very truthful and outgoing gal..

Before we went to sing, he was claiming loudly that he could sing very well..haha..Very proud of his voice though..
But he sing well also..His voice is very unique as it is very soothing to hear at but it doesnt resemble other singers..He has special vocal...









And finally Yun Yun... a very quiet gal but is game enough to join in our crazy jokes...
She has a sweet voice but she sing too soft..It will be better if she could project her voice..I think she lack confidence..
Jolin Tsai's song ( Dao Dai ) was beautifully sang by her cos the nature of the song is very carefree and she could bring it out very well..

We went home at around 2am and today at work, Angeline and me are like zombies walking around...haiz...What a price to pay... Bad sales....

A "foodful" Sunday

Finally a Sunday off...Woke up early in the morning to have Dim Sum at China Square followed by a walk in Orchard searching for shorts but in vain..

Night fall and we decided to have seafood in J.B..the one that is at a kelong..Curious? Here we go..


This restaurant is located at Pasir Putih ( very remote). The time taken there by car is around 45 mins from M'sia custom. The road there is rather bumpy as its not properly done and the owners cant be bothered to repair it..Haiz..
As pictured, its also recommended by Singapore artistes ( CH U ). But my witty bf found it before they introduce it..haha..

The crowd over there for Sunday is rather quiet (strange) maybe because of the recent high crime rate in JB..So, lets tuck in..

After a tiring day at work, I manage to have dinner at Oasis. It has been some time since I last went there and today I took the opportunity to take photos with my N8O heehee..
Although its not very clear but its very prominent at the entrance and you cant miss it..

We settle down quickly and order the following..

Our comments on the dishes are the Sze Chuan stir fry pork is the best. We finish almost everything and bear in mind its only the 2 of us! Haiz....








Haha, we cleared everything spick and span except for some egg..





And this is not the last!



Look what we have at Macdonalds barely after 2 hours! But only the Iced Milo and sweet corn is mine..The rest...haha..

Lastly I would like to express gratitude to MacDonalds for supplying free broadband access to people like me..( who do not wish to pay for broadband access at home!)
But we still have to spend on the food lah so overall MacDonalds have a great business strategy.. Attracting crowd with free access and its human nature to purchase food inorder to spend hours surfing the net. So they are in a win win situation..

Looks like I have to spend more $ on MacDonalds the following months..

A night in JB....

All along I love fishhead steamboat at Whampoa Market but to my utmost disappointment, Its CLOSED when i reached there last Saturday.. Damn it..

Therefore we decided to have our dinner settled in JB as Kerry is going in to pump petrol..( save $ ) wahaha.. We decided to have nasi lemak as we have not been there for a long time and i have a urge for satay! Upon arrival, we saw loads of Sinagpore cars as though we are in Singapore..I remember the 1st time we went there was rather quiet as its situated on top of the sea and its quite peaceful having dinner there..Seems like more and more people are in JB for dinner which explains the jam at the custom! Argggg...

We are so hungry and engrossed in eating that when our main course -nasi lemak came, we just dig in and forgot to take photo of it! This is what I managed to capture..

The rice has a mild coconut smell and the chicken is very crispy although its breast meat..






After eating we went to pump petrol for " xiaohei " and see how seriously he is in work...



Trying very hard to squeeze more petrol into the car...He paid RM$46 for a quarter tank..See the savings if he were to pump in Singapore?

Thats why driving in is one of our past time but ever since I worked in LV, I seldom went in.

After pumping petrol, we rush to get out through the lorry custom before 12am ( closing time ). Alot of Singaporeans do not know of this route and they will end up spending hours in the queue at the custom..heehee..It was a breeze at the custom in both countries and we clear them within 10 mins..which is very amazing for a Saturday!

How I hope that it will be the same everytime but "Not everyday is Sunday!"

Our 11th Month..

6th July 2006 is the 11th month that we ( me n kerry ) are together..We managed to get sometime out to have a nice dinner despite our busy schedules..

We went to Sushi Tei at Serangoon Garden to have a feast..





Yes...Dont be amazed that these food are for 2
people consumption and we ate some sushi that are on the conveyor belt as well..haha..






We are really great eaters..just like Celine and her hubby..but i think that they are still at top of the chart as Celine could finish 3 servings of frog leg porridge and still go to Geylang and eat durians as dessert!

But Delvin is still as skinny..However I am beginning to see some improvements in Kerry's tummy as I finally see a bump!

Wahaha...Its easy..Just dump what I can't finish and he will finish it..

Temporary New Hairdo

This is done a month back..Celine and me are so free and nothing to do that we decided to go for a hairwash at REDS Salon in Takashimaya...I opt for a perm finish and Celine opt for a straight finish..

What do u all think of me in this hairdo compared to my usual straight rebonded hair?

A survey of 9 out of 10 in Louis Vuitton said that I look better this way..and the odd one out is a guy who do not like gals with permed hair!




But the downside of it is that after i washed my hair,I feel so sad as its so dry from the perming process! I know that I am not a disciplined gal and I will not spend time in the morning styling my hair so permed hair may not be a good option for me....

I m not lazy but I do not have access to the net! Finally today I manage to use kerry's laptop to tap onto others' network!

New Job...

Just to let all you guys out there know...My last day at Giordano Ngee Ann City will be at 18th May 2006. I have finally made up my mind and leave for greener pastures..haha

My new job will be at Ngee Ann City and aso in retail line as well...

My new job destination is Sales Associates at Louis Vuitton.

Many people have already reprimanded me for going into sales line as I have a degree..and i should do better things den to sell people stuffs...But I love interaction!

My objective in life is very simple...I do not have big ambition..I do not wish to vie with others in the corporate ladder..I have a degree simply because I wana be a degree mama.. heehee

My ex bf ( Ben ) used to say that I do not have ambition and its true.. I just wana live simple. All I need is enough to feed myself and spend...And if I have a family, my husband should be able to provide for the family orelse what for Marry! You can say I am pure lazy but I do not care what others say as long as I am happy with my life..

I have seen people who vie so hard and in the end yes they have the money and family but their character have all changed! I do not wish to end up like them...Yes, in the society only the fittest survive but I am sure that I can survive as well...It all depend on the adaptability of a person! Right?

Labour Day Celebration

Demoralised.......

As all our you know..I am currently working in

Customer Service is very important in the company and I tried my best to achieve it even though I am in the busiest shop ( Takashimaya) I have compliments from customers and it will lit up my day! I have been on the cashier for a week now and today i encountered a bad experience...

2 angmohs women after shopping, pay at my counter so i seetle their bills and told them that

" From now till Sunday, if you patronise any of the Giordano shops with the green paper bag that I have just given them, They will be entitled to a $5 voucher if they spent minimum $40"

They left happily and 1 hr later I received a complaint from my Senior Shop Manager (Anna) stating that the 2 womens actually went to another shop and claim that i said if they spent $14, they are entiltled to the $5 voucher! I kept my stand and say "No, I didnt said that" but they insisted and they even ask my Anna to fire me! I was so angry as if all my customers have no problems in understanding my message WHY do they have problem in understanding simple English!

I dun think Anna believe me as well so i kept quiet and do my stuff! If they are going to prolong my probation due to this, I am going to resign..anyway I am not happy there aso! Low pay but lots of work! If there is no trust in yr staff, there is no staying power! Now I know why the turnover rate in Takashimaya outlet is so high...At first I thought that its because most of them cant handle the stress level there...But I am half right..I think they cant stand the stress level of interpersonal relationship between the staff there!

Does Marriage = Divorce ?

Marriage to me when I am young is 2 person being able to live together happily ever after.. just like the fairytales...

However at a tender age of 12, I began to realise that it is not true! The 1st divorce case that I come in contact is my parents..I began to miss the presence of my dad whenever I see people in the streets being in the company of their dads.. I began to hate myself as I hate the feeling of self pity!

From then, I know that guys cant be trusted so easily and i realise how fragile a relationship it can be....

Alone on this year I had heard from my friends and my sister wanting to file divorce from their husband..It just added to the fact that being married is dangerous! As many people says " Marry is cheap, Divorce is expensive." Therefore i think that being single is the best! Although I have a doting boyfriend but I am still keeping my fingers crossed!

In the past, marriage is for life...But now..Marriage is due to a moment of folly ! ( thats wat ppl claim when they seek a divorce)

In a marriage, I believe not only trust and lOve could maintain it... To me, Humour and Sparks are also very important! As I am a GEmini, I like surprises, surprises and surprises! I hate routine as it bored me very easily..So it really takes a lot of courage to go after a Gemini gal..Haha..

So what do you (my friends) expect in a marriage that could make it last in the long run?

Women R really money spender...

As planned on my last post, we have lunch at Scotts Foodcourt and proceed to LV office for my interview.



After the interview, we went to Isetan as Celine wants to get a mascara..But she end up getting more than she needs!



I got a Dior nail polish(1st item frm the left) as it is a limited edition color after being persuaded by Celine to get it! Haiz..and it cost me $30!

Celine got the Dior mascara ($43)and a Bobbi Brown Blusher($38).



After much thinking we decided to go to Sasa to buy a blusher brush that Celine need and went for dinner..BUT..Sasa is not opened at Wisma anymore! So we had to go to The Face Shop..See what i bought over there...



A Nail polish Remover, a base coat, a Collagen eye mask(2 pairs), a buffer and a free membership card with the combination of Celine purchases as well! With only an intention to buy a blusher brush, she actually spent $150 at The Face Shop! Haiz..Women....

We decided to have dinner as we are damn hungry!
Guess where we go?
We decided to pamper ourselves abit and went... INDOCHINE!

Finally...Off Day

Hurray! Finally its my off day tomolo! Work 3 days and off 1 day!

Today its my 2nd time as cashier again and I have no shortage and my shop manager( Josephine ) actually praised me for learning things fast as she didnt teach me much about the closing and I can handle it without much trouble..although I feel happy but I still feel that I can do better.

One thing that make my day is the senior( IJAH) that actually is biased against me actually make short conversations with me today! Its a new start...( Pray that its not because of her good mood)

Celine told me that there is a vacancy at LV! So I am going to try it out tomolo..heehee..

I have my schedule packed for tomolo!See...

1. Meet Celine at her place as I need to go to interview at Louis Vuittion office tomolo so i need to borrow a pair of heels from her! keke..
2. Go for Lunch
3. Go Interview at Forum (LV Office)
4. Go shop and maybe my manicure..
5. Come home earlier and rot as my feet really sore from all the standing!

Tired Legs, HUngry Tummy!

Haiz..Today all morning shift staff are being recalled back to store at 8.30am!kaoz...as my store is a flagship store of Giordano(Taka) thats why they are constantly upgrading and changing furnitures which i think is unnecesssary!

Early in the morning have to wake up at 7am!I am so deeply in sleep and my bf have to wake me up! Argggg.....i nearly flare up and wanted to get an MC instead but i didnt...However he is sweet that after waking me up, he went to buy breakfast for me as i have to wait till 3pm before i can eat...See what he bought...




Yes...Its a piece of bread and hot milo...But i finish the milo on the way and I am only left with a piece of bread to take photo when i reached my store..heehee..BUt i appreciate that...Thank you! Luckily for the bread and milo that he bought for me orelse i will be starved to death! I feel touched as previously for the last 7 years, Its always me looking after my ex welfare and he will seldom do this for me lor...haiz..thats the past lah..

After all the moving and shoving around of the fixtures and merchandise, I feel that its worst! Alot of the stocks are being kept in the storeroom which is already very packed! If customers request, we have to run in to check for them! This is not a good customer service as it will turn out to be very inefficient!Waste Time! Today is my 1st try as a cashier and i nearly fumbled...I nearly forgot to let a customer sign a $44 credit card bill as I am too obsessed with speed..( serving 2 customers at one time) I will take note of this and improve!

After a hard day work I had dinner with my family at Bedok Interchange..I intend to eat the Lor Mee over there but too bad..its CLOSE! Arggg.....Well I ate rice anyway..My bf ( Kerry) had gone to KL and Langkawi to do a BVLGARI show so i had to eat with my parents today..But its nice eating with them once in a while as it strengthens our bonding!

Did i mention i had a nephew? Oh my god.. He is damn cute..currently living with me...

After being on the job for nearly 2 weeks, I m beginning to wonder if I am right in deciding to go into this line..For others whom do not know, I m currently working as a Trainee Shop Manager (TSM) with Giordano. At first when i got the job I am head over heels...But now I am counting the days..There are simply too much obstacles for me to pass..discriminations from staff, not being taught much skills because of an irresponsible incharge and not hitting the sales target..etc..

I am beginning to ponder if its my problem of not adapting or its their problem of cant accepting me as their superior..Some of the malays even give me faces when i asked for help! Giordano is not like this! 7 years ago when i am a junior, there were so much teamwork! Even if i am on MC i will try to go to work,the team spirit is so strong! But now I am in a shop where there is no team spirit and there are alot of different grouping among staff which is bad!

I will try to look for other alternatives if i really cant take it. But my bf told me something which is really quite true..." Be prepared that there are also such people around when you change job!" It seems like it is a matter of luck!

Haiz....Job hunt begins again......
