Carpe Diem Namasté, The Spiritual Way #10 Ascension

!!! The submission for this "weekend-meditation" starts next Sunday May 28th at 7:00 PM (CET) !!!

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

Welcome at a new episode of our CDHK "Namasté, The Spiritual Way". This week I love to challenge you to create haiku, tanka or an other Japanese poetery form, inspired on "Ascension". As I publish this episode "Ascension Day" (or in Dutch, Hemelvaartsdag) is almost over. You all will know that Ascension Day is a Christian holiday in which the Ascension of Jesus Christ is celebrated. But here at CDHK I do not pretend to promote the Christian belief or which other religion there is. So I have tried to make this "weekend-meditation" more common than Ascension Day will be.

I have chosen to tell you more about Ascension. Maybe you remember or Theme Week about "The Ascended Masters" in that theme -week I also told you about Ascension. Today however I love to watch to the more spiritual meaning of Ascension. (Source: Ascension Symptoms)

Ascension
Many people are confused about what Ascension means when it is referred to in the spiritual sense. Ascension can mean different things to many people. The literal definition of the word ascension means: the act of ascending or ascent; to be risen up or to climb. The concept or idea of Ascension itself can be explained in several different contexts depending on the spiritual tradition or philosophy.

Ascension, in a simple and spiritual sense is very similar to the Eastern concept of Enlightenment found in Buddhism. To become Enlightened can simply mean to have "full comprehension of a situation". Enlightenment is a spiritual revelation or deep insight into the meaning and purpose of all things, communication with or understanding of the mind of God or Source, profound spiritual understanding or a fundamentally changed consciousness whereby everything is perceived as an interconnected unity.

Ascension in its basic spiritual or mystical sense can be thought of as the highest state of Man (humanity). It is the expansion of awareness. It involves the realization of being ONE with the Creator and all of creation. An individual is 'ascending' in the sense that something of a lower vibration is ascending; is is being 'raised up' or becoming higher in vibration. This is why many Spiritual traditions aim to achieve the dissolution of the human ego (lower self) in order to realize the true nature of their being, or Higher Self.

Ascension, in this spiritual sense of the word, does not mean that one's physical body is lifted off the ground and flies through the air, ascending up into or above the clouds towards a physical place called 'heaven', although some religious adherents still literally imagine this very scenario. But for the sake of understanding, If Ascension did actually involve entering heaven without dying, then it would be more accurate to say that Ascension is about 'bringing heaven to earth' by raising the 'lower vibrational aspect of your non-physical being to a higher vibrational state of being or realization.

Ascension can also be understood in a more metaphysical way by considering the concept of 'Dimensions' or 'planes of existence, or planes of conscious'. This would mean that Ascension is about shifting from one dimension, frequency, plane of existence or conscious (such as the 'lower' physical Earth plane) to another plane, dimension or state of consciousness that is of a 'higher frequency'.

The Ascension of Jesus Christ
Maybe you know about several Ascensions. There is of course the "Ascension of the Christ", but there are other ideas about Ascension. For example there is the Ascension of Buddha.

Ascension of Buddha
But there is also the Ascension of the Prophet, Muhammad.

The Ascension of Muhammad Miraj-Isra
In my opinion Ascension isn't something physical, but it is spiritual. In this time of Aquarius, we all will ascend to a higher state of spirituality. We will go into another dimension, another state of thinking.
Ascension is becoming more spiritual, maybe it is the moment that you choose to take another path to fulfillment, or spiritual growth. I think that we, haiku poets, are creating our own "ascension" through our haiku, tanka or other Japanese poetry form, because we are one with nature, with the cosmos.

What does Hinduism tells us about Ascension?

According to Hindu philosophy, by living a life of Truth governed by various forms of yoga, anyone can ascend to the ultimate state of moksa - release from the round and round cycle of birth and death. This is achieved by understanding the Inner Self (God), by overcoming ignorance and desire requires one to live constantly (every act, thought and breath) in the awareness of God. Paradoxically, moksa cannot be attained if it is one's goal. Ascension to moksa can only occur when one life of Truth transcends all desires (including the desire for moksa). The dynamics and liveliness of the Hindu belief system allows for use of ancient texts as well as continuous contemporary instruction on exactly how to live in Truth.

Atman, Ascension in Hinduism (image found on Pinterest)
As I re-read this (maybe to long) episode of Namasté, The Spiritual Way, than I think I am more a guy that fits in the idea of Ascension as taught by Hinduism, because I think that through living a good life full of truth I will ascend to a higher consciousness, another spiritual dimension.

For this "weekend-meditation" I have sought the Internet for haiku on Ascension. Here are a few examples that I encountered:

As I was searching the Internet I ran into "The Haiku Stairs", a steep hike on the island O'ahu Hawaii. This "Haiku Stairs", has nothing to do with our haiku, it has to do with a flower that grows on this island, but I was surprised as I read the other name "The Stairway to Heaven"; and that fits our theme for this "weekend-meditation" in a great way. So I just had to include it here.

"The Haiku Stairs" or  "The Stairway to Heaven"
To conclude this "weekend-meditation" on Ascension I have a few haiku that I wrote themed Ascension, these are all from my archives.

It has become a (to long)  episode, but I loved creating it for you all. And of course this is our "weekend-meditation", so you have all weekend to meditate and contemplate about Ascension.

This "weekend-meditation" is open for your submissions next Sunday May 28th at 7:00 PM (CET) and will remain open until June 2nd at noon (CET). I will try to publish our new episode around that time too. For now ... enjoy your weekend.

Carpe Diem Theme Week (5) (7) The Eighth Ray, or the ultimate path to ascension.

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

Welcome at this final episode of our 5th Carpe Diem Theme Week in which we have explored the meaning and ideas of Ascension and the Ascended Masters. A controversial idea I think, but it was a joy to bring this Theme Week to you. I do understand that for several of you this Theme Week wasn't inspiring, but well ... you are all free to participate, no obligations ... It was really wonderful to step out of the box and I hope you did appreciate it.

Today we will look at the so called "Eight Ray", or the final path to Ascension. It's not a circumstance that there is an eight ray (or path), because eight (like the music scale) means resonating on a higher level and it is the number for the eight chakra, just above your head. Eight is the number of Christ Consciousness, because Christ overcame death and entered into the next dimension. Jesus is also known as Krishna, but also as one of the Ascended Masters.

The Chohan of the "Eight Ray" the path to Ascension is called Lord Maha Chohan and is the embodiment of the Holy Spirit.

Lord Maha Chohan
As the Representative of the Holy Spirit, the Maha Chohan embodies the white light of all the rays and teaches the sevenfold balance of the rays of the Seven Mighty Elohim, which in turn manifest upon the brow of the initiate as a crown of crystal light when that God-mastery of the seven rays is reached.

The Maha Chohan is a very present help to all who call to him. Because of his pledge to all mankind “I am keeping the flame for you until you are able,” this truly Great Lord is called the Keeper of the Flame. He is the endower of Christ-mastery through the disciplines of right choice and right action—patterned after the eightfold path of Lord Gautama Buddha, which parallels the path taught and demonstrated by Jesus Christ.

The Maha Chohan is the representative of the Holy Spirit. The one who holds this office in hierarchy represents the Holy Spirit of the Father-Mother God, of Alpha and Omega, to the evolutions of this planet and to the elemental kingdom. The retreat of the Maha Chohan, the Temple of Comfort, is located on the etheric plane with a focus in the physical at the island of Sri Lanka, where the flame of the Holy Spirit and the flame of Comfort are anchored. His twin flame is Pallas Athena, Goddess of Truth.

Maha Chohan means “Great Lord,” and the Maha Chohan is the Great Lord of the seven chohans, the director of the seven chohans of the rays. He is an adept on each of the seven rays, which merge into the pure white light of the Holy Spirit. With the seven chohans, he initiates our souls in preparation to receive the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit, spoken of in the Bible, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11.

Since the Spirit of God infuses nature and man as the life-giving essence of the sacred fire, the representative of the Holy Spirit must be qualified to inter-penetrate all substance through the diffusion of his consciousness and also to draw forth the flame that sustains life in man and nature through the vocalization of his consciousness.

Christ Consciousness
Truly, the key to Christhood through loving obedience to Father and Son is fulfilled in the disciple’s acceptance of Jesus’ calling to be a mediator of the Word and Work of the Lord. Mirroring His consciousness that all might see His reflected image, the disciple is readying himself to receive the chakra initiations of the Holy Spirit given by the hand of the Maha Chohan through the Seven Chohans according to the degrees of the seven rays.

And for those who have the understanding of the Inner Light, we will say that the bestowal of the nine gifts is, by definition, the transfer of the initial matrix of the power of the three-times-three which the disciple must learn to wield, enhancing it through the balanced threefold flame and the science of the spoken Word.

The Seven Rays, the embodiment of Ascension and the Ascended Masters

As I created this episode I immediately thought back to our Tarot month, back in 2013, in that month we explored the divinity of the Tarot cards and we found that divinity. The same goes for this Theme Week "Ascension" ... the Ascended Masters are guiding us through our life, as the Holy Spirit does, and that ... brings the idea that the Ascended Masters are all creatures of our Creator to help us to bring our life goals to reality.

It was a tough week, not only through the heat here in The Netherlands, but to try to explain this Ascension idea to you without pushing ... it was a joy to create this Theme Week and I hope you all did like it.

This last episode of our Theme Week is NOW OPEN for your submissions and will remain open until July 28th at noon (CET). Have fun!

Carpe Diem Theme Week (5) (6) The Seventh Ray

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

It is my pleasure to present to you our penultimate episode of our 5th Theme Week in which we are exploring "Ascension" and the idea of "Ascended Masters. Earlier this week I introduced to you the so called "Seven Rays" or "Seven Paths" to ascension. We have already looked at the first to sixth ray and today I love to bring the Seventh Ray to your attention.

The Chohan of the Seventh Ray, the Violet Ray, or the Ray of Transmutation, is Saint Germain:

Saint Germain

Saint Germain is the chohan of the seventh ray, sponsor of the United States of America, and master alchemist of the sacred fire who comes bearing the gift of the violet flame of freedom for world transmutation. Together with his twin flame, the ascended lady master Portia, the Goddess of Justice, he is the hierarch of the Aquarian age. He is the great sponsor of freedom’s flame, while Portia is the sponsor of the flame of justice. The name Saint Germain comes from the Latin Sanctus Germanus, meaning simply “Holy Brother.”

As chohan, or lord, of the seventh ray, Saint Germain initiates our souls in the science and ritual of transmutation through the violet flame. Saint Germain and Portia deliver to the people of God the dispensation for the seventh age and the seventh ray—the violet ray of freedom, justice, mercy, alchemy and sacred ritual—a new life wave, a new civilization, a new energy.

A clear description I would say. as you maybe know we are living in the age of Aquarius, an age of spiritual growth to enter a new world in which spirituality is stronger than ever. Saint Germain is one of the guides to help humankind through this transition to a new dimension.

Carpe Diem Theme Week (5) (5) The Fifth and Sixth Ray

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

Welcome at this new episode of our Theme Week on "Ascension". I find this whole idea of Ascension and Ascended Masters intriguing and I hope that feeling I can bring over to you. Just be open minded to this idea of Ascension and Ascended Masters. I think that the Ascended Masters are only part of our being and they work through the Cosmos and the consciousness of all people, but maybe they are really "real" people ... I don't know.

In this episode I love to introduce to you the Cohans of the fifth and sixth Ray. The first Chohan is Hilarion, Chohan of the 5th Ray:

Hilarion, Chohan of the fifth Ray, the Green Ray, the Ray of Truth
Hilarion is the chohan of the fifth ray of healing and truth. He is the hierarch of the Temple of Truth on the etheric plane near Crete, Greece.
Hilarion was high priest of the Temple of Truth on Atlantis, and he transported the flame of Truth together with the artifacts of the Temple to Greece a short time before the sinking of the continent.

The focus of Truth that he established became the focal point for the Oracles of Delphi, messengers of Truth who served under the direction of Pallas Athena for hundreds of years, until black priests penetrated the Delphic Order and perverted the Truth that had been brought forth. The Brotherhood then withdrew this service to embodied mankind, since people were unable to distinguish between Truth and error.

Hilarion sponsors teachers of Truth, servants of God, religious leaders and missionaries, as well as those practicing the healing arts, scientists and engineers in all fields, mathematicians, musicians, those specializing in computer and space technology and those who work with all forms of media and communications.

Together with fifth-ray masters and the Brotherhood of Crete, Hilarion works steadfastly to draw their consciousness into a greater and greater appreciation of the full spectrum of Truth, which most have experienced only in part. To take them from a partial knowledge of truth to self-awareness in the divine wholeness of Truth is the goal of these brothers.

The Chohan of the Sixth Ray is Lady Nada, the Sixth Ray is the Pink Ray of Peace, let me tell you a little bit more about Lady Nada:

Lady Master Nada
The ascended lady master Nada is the chohan of the sixth ray (purple and gold ray) of peace, ministration and service.

She is also a member of the Karmic Board, on which she serves as the representative of the third ray (pink ray) of divine love.

Nada is an initiate and master of the path of the ruby ray, and she teaches the unfolding of the rose of the heart, helping us to develop the sensitivity of the heart.

She is very much involved with the initiation and sponsorship of twin flames and the Aquarian age family. She also ministers to the world’s children with legions of angels who personally tend to the needs of the youth.

Nada says, “I give you my love, for all else I have already given away.”

Lady Nada is the ascended master of all those who are working in the healing arts, in this case the Lady Nada is also my ascended master, who leads me on my path as an oncology nurse. It is possible to find her strength through this special prayer:
I AM my Brother’s Keeper:

I AM my brother’s keeper.
O God, help me to be
All service and assistance,
Compassion just like Thee!

I AM my brother’s keeper.
O Jesus, by thy Flame
Of Resurrection’s blessing
Give Comfort in thy name!

I AM my brother’s keeper,
O Presence of God so near,
The fullness of thy blessing,
Pure Divinity appears!

I AM my brother’s keeper,
The guardian of his Flame;
In quiet power and knowing,
I love him in thy name!

With this prayer you can awaken your inner light to help change the world.

A wonderful set of Ascended Masters I would say. I think we can learn something from them. Be always open minded, seek for the truth and for peace ... than the world will become a better place

Carpe Diem Theme Week 5 (4) The Third and Fourth Ray

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

I am aware that our running Theme Week "Ascension" not any one's "cup of tea" is, but as I am very open minded I thought to do it right to bring something controversial. I also think that this "Ascension" idea will not inspire you, at least not every one of you. Of course that doesn't mind ... Carpe Diem Haiku Kai is an open minded family of haiku lovers and they are all free to participate or not.

Let us look at the 3rd and 4th ray of the so called "Seven Rays", seven paths ruled by an ascended master to help you in your spiritual growth.

Paul The Venetian, is the Ascended Master and Chohan of the Third, The Pink Ray and here is some more background on him:

Paul The Venetian, Chohan of the Third Ray of Love
This Ascended Masters is special, because he is the one who cherish beauty and is in a way the Ascended Master of the Arts and Beauty.

Paul the Venetian is chohan of the third ray of divine love. He is hierarch of the etheric retreat, the Château de Liberté, located on the etheric plane over southern France on the Rhône River.

Paul the Venetian is a majestic being of some six feet, five inches in height. He is fair of countenance with deep blue eyes and golden, wavy hair. He is usually garbed in raiment of emerald-green velvet. Since he is a native of the planet Venus, where the inhabitants are masters of the Flame and therefore radiate harmony and divine love, Paul’s natural heritage is beauty and grace, diplomacy and tact. His voice is melodious and kind, bringing comfort and peace to all who come in contact with his Presence.

The ascended master Paul the Venetian is a great teacher of the path of love. His devotion is to beauty, the perfection of the soul through compassion, patience, understanding, self-discipline and the development of the intuitive and creative faculties of the heart by the alchemy of self-sacrifice, selflessness and surrender.
He initiates the heart chakra, and he trains us in the gift of the discerning of spirits—discerning good and evil, light and shadow and the delicate nuances of all of our creations of beauty. Discernment is a real inner sensitivity to one another.

The Ascended Master and Chohan of the Fourth Ray, the White Ray is Serepis Bey, who was in a former life the architect of the Great Pyramid in Egypt.

Serapis Bey

Serapis Bey is the chohan of the fourth ray.
The fourth ray is the ascension flame, the white light of the Mother in the base-of-the-spine chakra. Out of this white light comes architecture, the principles of mathematics, the foundations of the building of the Matter temple and the pyramid of Self.

In the presence of Serapis, one knows an entirely different conception of what we call the Christ, the real person of us all. Known as the Great Disciplinarian, Serapis came from Venus with the Ancient of Days to rekindle the sacred fire in the hearts of a wayward mankind. His great enthusiasm to reclaim the sons of man as kings and priests unto God swelled and mounted into a flame of iron will, determination and discipline.

He assists his students in the self disciplines that are necessary for the ascension: the discipline of the four lower bodies in order that the Christ may appear and use them as vehicles for service and attainment in the world of form; the disciplining of past momentums of negative spirals and of human creation that would stand in the way of the ascension flame forming within the heart of everyone evolving upon the planet through the acceleration of the threefold flame.

Guiseppe Verdi captured the music of the ascension flame in the Triumphal March from Aïda. The radiance of the electronic presence of Serapis Bey and his twin flame pour through the aria Celeste Aïda. (Which you can listen at hereafter: Aria Celeste Aida performed by Luciano Pavarotti

Carpe Diem Theme Week (5) #3: The first and second ray

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

Welcome at the third episode of our Theme Week about Ascension. Yesterday I told you about the Seven Rays and in the upcoming Theme Week episodes I love to share a little bit more about these rays and the Ascended Masters connected to them.

Introduction:

When we come into the knowledge of the ascended masters, we come into an awareness of defining the Path. The path back to the Source can be walked over seven rays of the Christ consciousness that emerge from the white light. The seven color rays are the natural division of the pure white light emanating from the heart of God as it descends through the prism of manifestation. These are the subdivisions of the wholeness of Christ. Regardless of their color, all of the flames have a white-fire core of purity, which embodies all of the attributes of God and which may be invoked by those who desire to expand the Christ consciousness.

The seven rays present seven paths to individual or personal Christhood. Seven masters have mastered identity by walking these paths, defined as the seven archetypes of Christhood. These seven masters are called the chohans of the rays, which means lords of the rays. Chohan is a Sanskrit term for lord, and lord is equivalent to law; hence the chohan is the action of the law of the ray.

To be a chohan on one of the seven rays means that this master defines the law on that ray; through him that energy of the Christ and of God flows to mankind, to all who are evolving on that particular path.

El Morya
The Ascended Masters of the first and second ray are El Morya and Lord Lanto:

El Morya is the chohan of the first ray, the Blue Ray, and chief of the Darjeeling Council of the Great White Brotherhood. El Morya represents the godly attributes of courage, certainty, power, forthrightness, self-reliance, dependability, faith and initiative. These are the qualities of the Father principle—the statesman, the executive, the ruler.
Because he has ably outpictured these essential virtues, El Morya has, through many embodiments, worn the crown of authority, ruling many kingdoms wisely and well. His rulership has not been that of a dictator, demanding that his subjects submit to his human will; but rather, his interpretation of government is God-over-men and his concept of true statesmen is God’s overmen. He inspires in his subjects illumined obedience to the holy will of God.

In a previous life El Morya was Abraham the first patriarch and he was in another life King Arthur.

The Ascended Master of the second ray, the Yellow Ray, Lord Lanto:

Lord Lanto
On July 3, 1958, Lord Lanto was succeeded by the ascended master Confucius as hierarch of the Royal Teton Retreat. On that date also, Lord Lanto, with attainment far beyond that required either of retreat hierarch or chohan, accepted the office of lord of the second ray from Kuthumi. This blessed brother, who had worshiped the God of Peace as Saint Francis, had already joined Jesus in the office of World Teacher in 1956.

On October 30, 1966, in cooperation with the God and Goddess Meru, Lanto was granted the dispensation by the Karmic Board for a “mighty transcendent golden flame of illumination” to pulsate three hundred feet into the atmosphere over the colleges, universities, divinity and theological schools of America and the world whose students and faculty were and would be receptive to knowledge from higher spheres.
The ascended master Lanto conducts classes at the Royal Teton Retreat, the initial retreat of the Great White Brotherhood to where we may ask to be taken in our etheric body at night. Here we learn the fundamentals of the path of initiation. Because of the dispensation of opening the seven retreats of the seven chohans, many tens of thousands of souls are receiving training at inner levels to accelerate their consciousness for the New Age.

Both are very wise man and they are true masters. Of course this is an idea which thousands of people have. I don't know what to say about these Ascended Masters. I think they really exist, but it's of course not my goal to change your ideas. This Theme Week about Ascension is just to bring you inspiration to create haiku, tanka or another Japanese poetry form. However ... I am very interested in these ideas and I even used them partially in one of my first novels
