As we bade another year goodbye.

Finally. It's coming to the end of yet another year!

Before I start on my plans for tonight, I will be sharing with u guys a couple of my experiences in 2011. Good and bad alike.

Firstoff, THE YEAR WAS AWESOME!!!!!!
Okay I meant that sarcastically.
Being too positive actually backfires and makes me wanna start being negative instead. Hahaha sorry I'm a weirdo :>
Anyway its not like there would be anybody in the world that gets life smooth sailing for all 365 days.

Sooooo.......

1. I felt kinda played by love again. No idea why this is the first thing I think of. Where will humans be without love?
Instances include - Liking someone, and giving up on him because he knew nuts about cherishing me, only till I stepped away did the regret kick in for him.

Currently - I'm actually afraid of being in the shadow of your ex-gf. Never knew much about her. Never knew how you treat girls in the past. Got the second best of you. Maybe you have not fully relived your fears from your past. Could I even be a rebound? Can anybody tell me if a rebound is possible even after a yr +?

BUT. I DO ENJOY THE MEMORIES. Wonderful or not, they are still beautiful thanks to you :)

2. Friends came and left. I would really like to foretell who's gonna leave from my life so that I wouldn't have to give a shit about them in the start. Saves all the tears and sadness whatever. If you can't stay by me through my ups and downs, I don't qualify you as a 'friend'

3. I NEVER KNEW I COULD EVEN HIT A 3.5 IN ANY OF MY SEMESTERS AND I ACTUALLY HIT A 3.7 LAST SEMESTER!! In fugging yr 3!!! Dammit I felt like I was in heaven till I saw my cumulative GPA. and *poof* the sudden drop back to reality. -______-

4. Sigh no weight loss. Maintained for another year as usual.

5. Lastly, I still have problems saving money. #$@$#%$#m #firstworldpains!!!

Moral of story: Learn to treat myself better :)


TONIGHT'S PLANS:
1. Meet my girls to lepak during the day, location unconfirmed
2. Meet my bby cos he has a 'surprise' for me?
3. Countdown and watch the fireworks at Punggol
4. Catch a late night movie - Darkest Hour
5. Hopefully meet my baby and get to stayover?

Significance of a kiss

Me to baby: Blow you a kiss! ^^
Baby to me: Blow you back!
Me to baby: Blow where?
Baby to me: Hmmm, blow at your forehead!

Initially, I was kinda stunned. Hadn't expected this as an answer. Afterall, I was under the impression that kisses to the forehead or cheeks are usually more of a friendly motion. I think it signifies care more than love.

So I asked, 'what does a kiss on the forehead mean to you'? and he asked me to google it wtf-.-

I did, and google answers turned up things like:
'respectful', 'FATHERLY' (WTFBBQ???), 'it means he'll really care for you, because thats a very endearing gesture.........', 'its an innocent sweet kiss', 'He cares deeply about you. That is the plain and simple truth.', 'A kiss on the forehead is a sweet, innocent way of saying he cares about you and you matter to him. There is a gallant, protective meaning behind a forehead kiss - but that doesn't necessarily mean it is romantic. However, if it was "at a party" it is likely he has romantic intentions, and is working his courage up slowly. A forehead kiss is a good way to show someone you care without coming on too strong - it is caring and respectful.'

Yet another blog showed another perspective:

Personally, I find a kiss on the forehead more 'fatherly' than anything. It definitely shows care and concern for someone, but maybe a love in a different manner. Like in the sense of  'I see you as more of a younger sister' kind of love? Idk. That said, maybe the meaning varies with each individual.

Cherry's 21st + ladies night!

Many friends have hit their 21st, soon it'll be my turn to hit 20.... then 21!!!!
Okay but that is 2 yrs down the road. I kinda prefer not hitting the big 2 so early :> You're forced to sit down and think even more clearly about your future path in life etc. IT IS SCARY.

Received these from bby when he came back from Taiwan on the 10th Dec!
Yummy I luvv pineapple tarts! Idk where he bought this from, but they weren't as tasty as the ones I bought last year from a roadside stall at Shihlin night market!!!

The piglet is LOL. Initially, I thought he asked the artist to spray paint a picture of a pig to spite me on purpose :/

These pineapple tarts and 'sunshine biscuits' - tai yang bing were bought by my uncle and his family after they came back from Taiwan a week later.
The tai yang bing was sooooo BUTTERY and soft!! Unique taste!
I'm a sucker for such food - peong peah(can be easily found in neighbouring country Malaysia), tai yang bing, lao po bing (wife biscuit), lao gong bing(husband biscuit)-which can be found in HKetccccc.

Gabby's meal before becoming botak!!

YEEEEEEEEEHA! Tests ended on the 15th and I'm having 2 wk holidays till the 1st of January!
Of which, I'm already fully packed till Christmas. These include birthdays, gift exchanges, gatherings, and SHOPPING FOR PRESENTS.
Did some shopping last Friday - 16th Dec, but I still have quite abit of shopping to do, and that is gonna span over today, thursday and friday. hahaha
The main bulk of my time will probably be spent in Town yet again. -_____- I'm so sick of that place. For now.

Beauty Haul 1

Yo people, I'm back! This time with a beauty post instead of the usual life and relationships!
Been keen on pampering myself recently, and here's what I got!!

Beauty haul over the past 2 mths!!!:

TADAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ^^

1.PERFUMES!! My mum got this at a steal :P

Man/woman alike, each individual has a unique scent that relates to him/her, one to infuse the passion, one to bring out the personality, one to exlude HAWTNESS (maybe on the dancefloor? :P) etc.

Okay that's abit off track. Some people believe all you need is one significant perfume to carry you through day to night, but for me, I like a variety of scents to vary with my mood and occasion.

YES YOU CAN SAY I'VE A VOLATILE PERSONALITY, why does one person need so many scents right??!

BUT! I believe in wearing whatever makes me smell good and feel good for the day ahead :)

As such, I prefer a variety. Sweet to casual to matured.

Between me and my mum, we've like 7-8 scents at home, and counting. HAHAHA

I'm not a sucker for sweet perfumes till I got hold of these 2 Nina Ricci's. I almost got the NR apple EDT too LOL. Ricci Ricci's sweet, whereas Love in Paris carries a slightly matured feel. And I like CH for the unique and slightly spicy undertone. A smell which I can consider 'uniquely me'

2.FEMININE WASH!!

First time trying. Got interested in such products ever since I tried out waxing my intimate area.

May not seem like a huge impact to my normal routine, but I believe taking in protection over cure.

I WILL NOT ALLOW MYSELF TO GROW OLD WITH A SAGGY AND WRINKLY VAGINA. lol.

Anyway it contains milk extract and lactic acid to moisturise and balance the PH level's of a girl's down below, hence preventing smell and itch too!

Smell: Light and pleasant

Feel: Not soapy - to me lah.

A girl's all-time essential combination for skin that's smooth like velvet and supple to the touch!
I luvvvvv body shop for the awesome fragrance it incorporates its products :)
Got this a couple of days ago during the 20% sale ^^

Close up of the grainy almond bits! This scrub's texture is in between that of the mango and the passion fruit ones that The Body Shop stocks.
not as rough as the mango, and not as watery as the passion fruit scrubs.
Verdict: Lovely moisturing feel after a good scrub, Makes me feel SQUEAKY CLEAN ^^

Cocoa Butter Body Scrub + Sweet Pea Duo Body Butter + 2 loofahs in Pink & Green! Yummy colours make me so immersed in the festive season :)



to be applied on: kneecaps/elbows/cracked skin/feet/where moisturing is vital
Literally feels like I'm scraping butter, it's rich in texture.



to be applied to: arms/legs/back/anywhere necessary
Thinner & more watery feel.



Note: Colours are slightly edited to show texture of product.

Verdict: Both glide on equally smoothly, you can mix both butters as you spread them on necessary areas.

Pleasant flora smell which reminds me of cherry blossoms ^^ Though I liked the purple one too! (Flora Acai)
