22, 23 March: EnC teambuilding at Sentosa. Started off feeling out of place. Towards the end of the day, kinda relaxed more and enjoyed myself. Dinner at Chili's was quite stressful, haha coz el was seated next to me.. :S
Cabbed back with kg for ops. Townhall (nothing exciting). Karaoke at Home Team Balestier. Met Wen Qing (& her bf) there!! haha. What a small world. Chatted with her for a while (mainly complaining about work).. Kg gave a lift home (thank goodness. Else cabbing at 1am would be damn ex!)
29, 30 March: Basic accounting & finance course. I am always getting lost. Have trouble keeping up with the facilitator, group discussions.. Have never felt more frustrated at my stupidity.

Mummy emailed me ISK-EDB biomedical scholarship to study Masters at Osaka University. She asked me about it again today. I don't know what she wants me to do. Does she want me to apply for the scholarship? How can I apply for it (edb would know that I'm an applicant right?) Though it's kinda interests me, I don't even know if I want to do research. If I'm not planning to do research, doing Masters wouldn't make sense would it?
I find it hard to ask mummy why did she send me the scholarship application. Does she want me to do a Masters? Is she not happy with my current job?

Still depressed
It's been a month since I last blogged.
Memorable events this past month:
1. 19 Feb. Singapore Airshow 2012
Was volunteered by kx to help out. My role was that of a station master, thought I had to know about the booth so I spent Sat memorising details on the company. But all I had to do was to liaise with the previous and next station master.. -_-''' wasted my Sat! Though I gotta admit it was quite shiok being involved in SA2012. Got to watch the aerial display from our vip lounge, with buffet lunch from Meritus Mandarin and Ben&Jerry's ice cream (only had stomach for one small tub! what a waste). Saw dpm teo, mos lee & president tan up close. Duo gu & family, papa & Di Sheng came to find me! hehe. :P
2. 3 March. Tete-a-Tete
Language tables~ Organised by my colleague ty. Went with kg, Li Jun & Kevin! BluJaz Cafe. Initially I found it awkward coz there was only one native speaker (half Japanese) at our table (there were 2 Japanese tables). Luckily more natives arrived in the second half.. Megumi-san was in Singapore for a 3 day holiday, exchanged contacts with her (hopefully she can bring me around when I visit Japan! hehe).
3. 4 March. Bunka cultural event: Maccha cake
Met Kevin and Pauline at 4.45pm at Orchard mrt coz Kevin's treating us to Haagen Daz ice cream! hehe. Actually he only had to treat me (coz he alr treated Pauline to Mac's sundae), so Pauline 托我的富 got to eat Haagen Daz too! (^^) Cultural event was quite fun, though our maccha cake was too soft.
4. 10 March. Casper's obedience class
Went Tricia's place around 3plus.. Casper's growing up fast! There were many dogs at the obedience class (4 were retrievers!) It was so nice seeing the cute doggies! I would love to be in a job that allows me to interact with different animals.. Maybe I should consider vet!
I'm still lost in my job. I wonder if I'm tired of working life or my work. :( I cry on Sunday nights because it's back to work again on Mondays.. Oh gosh I really hate work.
My mum placed a lighted mosquito coil under my chest of drawers for the entire afternoon! When I reached home at 9pm, my entire room was filled with smoke. And the base of my white chest of drawers is brownish now! Who would put a lighted coil under wooden cabinet and near electrical points?! Seriously. I'm super pissed at my mother. WTF. My cabinent is disfigured now. Not to mention, my room reeks of smoke, don't think it's safe to sleep with the air con tonight. The smell better disappear by tomorrow night.
Pissed. F***ed up life I have.

16th Jan, Mon: Work.

20th Jan, Fri: Work. Had RDD CNY lunch + Lou Hei! My first Lou Hei for this year! hehe. Met Tricia at City Hall to go CNY shopping at Bugis! Had a light dinner at Yakun's. Shopping at Bugis with Tricia felt so nostalgic! haha. I managed to buy 2 pairs of shoes, earrings for Geri's bday and a necklace! Went back to Raffles City to pick up my laptop/barang barang before mummy & papa came to fetch me..
21st Jan, Sat: Slacked at home. Surfed the net and started on a Korean drama "Lie to Me". :)
22nd Jan, Sun: Decorated our house with CNY decorations! Watched "Lie to Me". Had CNY reunion dinner. Painted my nails.. Watched the Channel 8's CNY countdown programme.. Showered at 11.30pm.
23rd Jan, Mon: Happy CNY 2012!! :) Woke at 8.30am, showered, snacked, dressed up. Left for Duo Yi's house at around 11.30am. Had vermicelli for lunch, took photos.. Then we headed to ah gong's house. 跟阿公拜年. Brought my laptop down to watch "Lie to Me". hehe. 陆陆续续亲戚都来拜年了！Played blackjack with the kids, duo gu, si yi.. Lou Hei! And took lots of photos! Whee~ :D Showered at 12am.. Downloaded kuai shou app! Now I can watch korean dramas on my iPhone!
24th Jan, Tues: Woke at 9+.. Watched "Lie to Me", lunched at home, went Gor Jin Poh's house to 拜年 around 4plus.., then to 小姑妈's. Left around 9pm.. Stayed up till 2am to finish "Lie to Me"! :P
25th Jan, Wed: Work. Sleepy! ZZZzzz. No Japanese.. Worked on the written consultation update slides till 12.. Dl-ed "Personal Taste" to carry on where I left off.
26th Jan, Thurs: Work. Went to River Hongbao with mummy, papa & Di Sheng after work. Reached home ~10pm. Worked on the slides till 12+am..
27th Jan, Fri: Work. Update/briefing for D-lvl mtg to wt.. vv asked why I always seem to be working till late in front of wt! -.- D-lvl mtg. Waa super stressed & nervous! My first time (since I started work) presenting to Dirs leh! Worked till 7+pm, then had dinner with Serene & Xian Wen at food court, then went Yakun's to chill & chat.. :P
28th Jan, Sat: Slacked at home. Took afternoon nap.. Watched "Personal Taste" till 4am..
29th Jan, Sun: Got woken up by mummy at 9am.. -_-''' I wanted to sleep in!! Grr. Visited Gor Yi Poh's house around 11am. Then we went to visit Si Yi Poh, after which we had lunch at Gek Poh. Arranged for mj session with ah xian jie jie, mich & mummy.. hehe. mj started around 5pm.. Breaked for the dinner. Continued till 10pm, then we had lou hei (my third!)

1st Feb, Wed: Work. Had dinner with Serene before Japanese lesson.
2nd Feb, Thurs: Work. Joined bs & kg for the workplace session during lunchtime.. wt called me to his room (I thought he was gonna give me work/scold me), but turns out he called me to his room to give me my confirmation letter (& $100 Robinsons voucher). Phew. Scared me..
3rd Feb, Fri: Work. CNY appreciation lunch at 11am! wt was giving out Hongbaos (lucky draw slip enclosed within), I won a $10 Capitaland voucher! hehe. There were only 30 of these! Lou Hei-ed for the 4th time! :D Buffet lunch was provided.. We chatted at 21st till 1pm..
4th Feb, Sat: Woke at 9am, showered, dressed up, had breakfast (fishball noodles). Papa gave me a lift to Clementi then to Haji Lane. Lunched at Fika with Geri. Before heading to Tricia's house to see her puppy! Casper the Japanese Spitz! Stayed at Tricia's place for approx 45min, afterwhich we left and I went to Eunos to meet fl, kx & kg. My heels were killing my feet! And we waited for kg for approx 30min! -.-
Reached wt's house around 4.30pm. Played katamindo (wt's kids' game) haha. Reversi with al. Then we played daidi, taboo.. js's baby boy's really cute! Big eyes, long lashes.. (^^) Had dinner, then played mj for approx 1 hour with aw, at, bs.. I won $15! :) At gave me a lift to Clementi mrt (I was quite stressed throughout the journey: 1) I felt like I was intruding his family time 2) Awkward/difficult to keep the convo going - he's a dir leh..) Ended up talking about work, and why I joined etc.. Stressed sia..
Reached home at 9.30pm. Showered. Then went over to Duo yi's place at 10.30pm. Mj started at 11pm, and ended at 4.30am.. Super long! Normally 2 rounds would take 4 hours.. I won $35! hehe. 5tai, zi mo twice!
5th Feb, Sun: Got woken up by papa's phone call at ~1pm! Waa didn't realise I slept till so long.. Showered, dressed up, had lunch, went to the temple to pray, then to mummy's friend (Aunty Kim)'s house. Walked to the coffee shop to have early dinner (thai style dou fu, kang kong, la la, curry fish head, vege, steamed pork), then visited Aunty Kim's mum..
Home at 7.30pm, showered, uploaded my photos, blogged.. :)
I'm missing CNY alr, looking forward to CNY 2013! (^^)
Going to check email, then retire for the night! Sweet dreams!

Tired
3rd Jan, Tues: Work.
4th Jan, Wed: Work. Dinner with Japanese classmates, before lesson..

8th Jan, Sun: Did some spring cleaning. Bunka New Year Dinner at Todai, MBS. :) Took a stroll along MBS to Raffles Place mrt, the view's soooo pretty! Very romantic place to walk with your love ones.. Too bad, not bf to walk hand in hand with! haha.
9th Jan, Mon: CPS 2012 at NTUC auditorium.. Had lunch with Jas and Issac (newbie joining my dept on 30 Jan) at People's Park Complex. Followed by ktv at $10 family ktv @ Chinatown.
10th Jan, Tues: Work.
11th Jan, Wed: Work. Dinner at Indian Kitchen again.. :P
12th Jan, Thurs: Work. Met Sam for lunch. :) Found out from Jas that our PA 'results' are out.. I printed mine, but didn't dare to read coz I know I won't do well.. Shall read only on Sun night (don't wanna spoil my weekend).
13th Jan, Fri: Work. Networking session at Dempsey; but I didn't network! muahaha. I just hanged around colleagues.. =S Left Dempsey at 6.40pm, so I was late for dinner with Pauline & her bunka classmates (Joyce, Jing Xuan, Rong Yao, Shermaine, Adam..) BUT only Joyce, Rong Yao & Shermaine were there! haha everyone else was late! So I walked over to Ion to draw money (seriously! No ATM at Wheelock! -_-''') Papa & mummy came to fetch me home! :)
14th Jan, Sat: Finally completed the PSOK! haha deadline's 17 Jan, so of coz must finish right! Took an afternoon nap. Read manga.. Went TH for dinner.. First thing I stepped into the house, Duo gu asked if I was feeling tired and if I came from work or home.. YES. I am tired. Very tired of work. Of life. So bloody tired...
After we reached home & showered, mummy remembered that she & Si Yi wanted to go Giant to shop (it was alr 11pm and she thought Giant's closing at 1am). I didn't really want to go, but decided that I need to stop being dis-interested in everything, so I decided to folow them.. Then we find out that Giant closes at 12am! haha so we only had ~30min to shop! Read One Piece till 3+am.. hehe..
15th Jan, Sun: Woke at 10am. Wanted to do some work, but I kept procrastinating. Only managed to write 2 para for the draft consultation paper.. oops. And I didn't get to work on the schematic framework at all (boss asked me to do this in dec..)
I feel detached from reality. I love CNY, and used to feel excited whenever CNY's coming. But this year, I don't feel the excitement yet. I haven't bought any new shoes, accessories.. In fact, I wish CNY won't come so soon, coz after CNY I won't have anything to look forward to.. I feel empty. All I want to do, is just read manga so that I can be away from reality..

24th Dec, Sat: X'mas lunch with Tricia (that became X'mas desert time) haha we weren't particularly hungry, so we had ice cream at Centrepoint's Haagen Daz. Bought my SKII Aura set! haha the last set at Tangs.. =P Bought earrings from Isetan for mummy & myself.. hehe.
25th Dec, Sun: X'mas party at Duogu's house. Brought my work laptop over to draft call report and summary for funding.. Sian. I know, but I'll be playing mj tmr so better get some work done today! Went Orchard to get Marks & Spencer chocs for 大姑妈 and Aprill jie jie.. Then we did some shopping, I bought 2 dresses, knitted top and 2 belts.. Super crowded!!
26th Dec, Mon: The plan was to play mj at 大姑妈's place, but when I arrived at Seng Kang, no one was home!!! O_O Communication breakdown, Audrey thought I knew it was at April jie jie's place (Bedok). So I took bus 27 to Century Square mall where Aprill jie jie came to pick me.. I won $12.50! :) yay! Had the famous Blk 85 Bak chor mee, yummy carrot cake & chicken wings!
27th Dec, Tues: On elder care leave! Went Jurong Point shopping with mummy.. Usually I'll be excited & happy doing my CNY shopping, but I wasn't! I was very un-interested in the clothes & shopping. I just wanted to go home.. I'm losing interest even in shopping? Symptom of depression!!!
28th Dec, Wed: Sigh. Back to work. Only 4 of us in our dept! haha everyone's on leave.. Dinner with Serene at Indian Kitchen; had 1 cheese and 1 plain prata, then I ordered another egg prata (but I couldn't finish!) Wasted. Next time, I shall just stick to 2 pratas..

Our first meet up since Free radicals finals! haha Jivs commented that I looked slimmer (not true, the scales indicated that I've put on a lot of kilos!!) and was 'glowing' - I guess I can attribute this to my skin care products? haha. But it was superb to finally catch up with Jivs and her work at A*star and share with her my work experience..
I stil need to figure out what I want to do in my life..
30th Dec, Fri: Elder care leave! whee~ Decided to go cut & colour my hair at Signature Salon. haiz, seems like my workplace don't really allow dyed hair, so I decided to just colour dark brown (which is no different from my hair colour now). Trimmed my hair - I hate my fringe!! Sigh. It's all wavy now that I trimmed the fringe..
31th Dec, Sat: Nua-ed at home.. hehe. Dinner at ah gong's house. Started writing my reflections & resolutions at 11pm.. But I wasn't as reflective as I was in the past, or rather I didn't have much to write (I used to write ~3 pages). Or maybe it's coz I was rushing for time. haha.
Interesting/Depressing fact: mummy & papa received sms greetings but I didn't! haha. Guess it shows that I'm not constantly on ppl's minds..
1st Jan, Sun: Mj at Seng Kang! :) Ah ma came.. I won $17.50! whee~ so happy! Had home-cooked dinner (ah ma cooked), it's been a while since I had such nice home-cooked food. My maid's cooking is not on par..
2nd Jan, Mon: Spent the day reading Fairy Tail on my iPhone! It was too exciting, I wanted to do some work, but I kept procrastinating.. Aiya, cbb. Now I can't wait for the next chapter! Shal l start on a new manga tmr (Bleach? One Piece? Naruto? lol)
The thought of going back to work left me very depressed and crying. sigh. Damn. It really sucks the life out of me. I've procrastinated thinking about work this weekend.. But the truth is, I've quite a bit to do (boss wants a schematic framework but I've not started at all.. He didn't set a deadline, so... I'm being lazy).
Bumped into my neighbour cum RJ senior. She tendered her resignation and she'll be doing work & travel! She'll be flying to Japan to work in a ski resort.. How amazing is that? She's following her heart and has the courage to do so! Imagine quitting your job after one year to go work & travel! I wish I have the courage to do so, and the blessings of my parents (I'm sure I'll nv get this, I doubt my mum will let me go without contributing money to the family).
New year resolution? Besides health, I want more money. yup.

24th Dec, Sat: X'mas lunch with Tricia (that became X'mas desert time) haha we weren't particularly hungry, so we had ice cream at Centrepoint's Haagen Daz. Bought my SKII Aura set! haha the last set at Tangs.. =P Bought earrings from Isetan for mummy & myself.. hehe.
25th Dec, Sun: X'mas party at Duogu's house. Brought my work laptop over to draft call report and summary for funding.. Sian. I know, but I'll be playing mj tmr so better get some work done today! Went Orchard to get Marks & Spencer chocs for 大姑妈 and Aprill jie jie.. Then we did some shopping, I bought 2 dresses, knitted top and 2 belts.. Super crowded!!
26th Dec, Mon: The plan was to play mj at 大姑妈's place, but when I arrived at Seng Kang, no one was home!!! O_O Communication breakdown, Audrey thought I knew it was at April jie jie's place (Bedok). So I took bus 27 to Century Square mall where Aprill jie jie came to pick me.. I won $12.50! :) yay! Had the famous Blk 85 Bak chor mee, yummy carrot cake & chicken wings!
27th Dec, Tues: On elder care leave! Went Jurong Point shopping with mummy.. Usually I'll be excited & happy doing my CNY shopping, but I wasn't! I was very un-interested in the clothes & shopping. I just wanted to go home.. I'm losing interest even in shopping? Symptom of depression!!!
28th Dec, Wed: Sigh. Back to work. Only 4 of us in our dept! haha everyone's on leave.. Dinner with Serene at Indian Kitchen; had 1 cheese and 1 plain prata, then I ordered another egg prata (but I couldn't finish!) Wasted. Next time, I shall just stick to 2 pratas..

12th Dec, Mon: Work. Haiz. Nv-ending fire-fighting.. Don't you hate being at the lowest end of the 'food-chain'..
13th Dec, Tues: Work.
14th Dec, Wed: Work. Had lunch with a few induction mates.. Finally left work on time, have been rushing through dinner the past few weeks.. Met Serene for dinner at the Indian kitchen at Orchard Parade Hotel. Pauline, Joreen, Kevin, Kim & Lem were there too! haha Lem was wondering why I sat at a diff table from the rest.. Yup. Lem re-joined our Wed class!! :) Reunion!
15th Dec, Thurs: Work. Boss's back from his holiday.. :S
16th Dec, Fri: Stressed!! Got so much to do! And that stupid presentation that I need to do.. I tried to juggle too many balls at the same time.. Overestimated my capabilities.. pj was saying I need to tell him when I'm swamped.. coz he noticed I've been sending out emails late at night.. oops. But I think my quality of work is also dropping.. :S Not a good thing.
The presentation was... awkward. haha I think I presented in a very bo chup, tired, monotone manner.. And I have to draft a paper over the weekend.. -_-'''

17th Dec, Sat: Woke at 10+, had breakfast, then started working on the paper.. Sian. I don't even know where to start! Besides the few points I had from the bosses, we didn't really discuss what needs to be included.. Aiya, I just whacked la.. Finally emaile boss the paper around 6plus.. I watched Beelzebub in between.. :) So cute!
Dinner at th.. Then mj at ah xian jie jie's place. I won $(72/4=18)! Yay! Haven't won in ages! =D 2 rounds took ~5hours.. Wei wei lor. Take so long to decide what tiles to throw.. Slept at ~5.15am..
18th Dec, Sun: Woke at 1130am. Had breakfast. Then mummy n papa started quarrelling about the amount of noodles/kuay tiao papa bought for lunch.. And then I heard my mum wailing. I ran to her room, to find her kneeling on the floor. I thought she fell or something, but she was actually kneeling n pleading with my dad. I was stunned for a moment, then I started crying n hugged her a bit.. She said that she's tired of carrying the burden of looking after our family and begged my father to also play his part..
Now I'm scared. What if my mum also has depression? What if my dad's also depressed? What am I supposed to do if they do something stupid? As if I don't have enough, trying to cope with my own depression..
There I was telling Liyi that I'm tired of work alr. But now, I think I just gotta suck it up and continue working even if I don't like what I'm doing. I can't afford not earning money right?
Life is so unfair. And it sucks that I can't do anything about it.

5th Dec, Mon: Work. Liyi's first day at work! (^^) yay! I have another lunch kaki now!
6th Dec, Tues: Work. Had a discussion with dd, hd of enc.. omg. That was the worst discussion I ever had since I started work. Totally got reprimanded by the dd for 'project delay', 'just excuses', 'what have you all been doing', 'red flags of red flags'... I came out of the mtg totally deflated n depressed. sigh. Had to call wt to inform him that we need to update md.. I hope it didn't piss him off coz he's on holiday with his family.. =S Slept at 1am after clearing some work.. -_-'''
7th Dec, Wed: Work. Teleconf with bill (i really hate all the small talk - you can spend a few minutes talking about the weather etc.. like I care right? Then must pretend to laugh. So fake!) Break from Japanese lesson!
8th Dec, Thurs: Work. Had to work on a paper (rush rush rush) with al & fz, then there's the consultancy study coy validation, and a 93 report to read! haha. Went Qiji, Funan for lunch with Liyi. :) Spent some time at night running through X'mas songs that I'm comfortable to sing for tmr's floor X'mas party (I got arrowed to perform)
9th Dec, Fri: Managed to finish the coy validation last night, but I didn't read the report! =S oops. I have 3 things to do over the weekend (including that report).. Had Gong Cha & Tsukiji's German potato for lunch (i wanted a light lunch since there'll be lots of food at the floor party at 4pm) It was sooo awkward singing coz ppl were chatting in their groups.. -_-''' Food was good! Played Pass the Parcel & pictionary.. Tapau-ed a box of baby carrots for Yuki! haha since no one wanted to bring it home..
10th Dec, Sat: My work laptop was switched on the entire day! haha. Worked on the revised proposal draft & set of recommended guidelines.. Of coz I watched some tv, slept, stoned in between.. lol. Helped papa with the formatting of his project work (omg the formatting was soo haphazard! spent an hour formatting part 1 of his project..) Finally I got my personal laptop switched on! Watched Sekaiichi! (^^) Played Snoopy's street fair, read Beezulbub (i'm at chap 75! Pretty fast! Since I started reading about a week ago?) Slept at 3am..
11th Dec, Sun: Woke at 1130! yay I love sleeping in! <3 It's such a nice Sunday morning! With Gold 90.5FM on, lovely X'mas songs & classics, reading Beezelbub on my iPhone. Awww. At peaceful times like this, I feel like I'm at the top of the world! hehe. (of coz I have to ignore that 93page report at the back of my mind.. :P) I hope I get to take leave in the last week of Dec (cs,fz will be on leave..)

Food, Wine, Fun.
28th Nov, Mon: Work.
29th Nov, Tues: Work. pj returned from his honeymoon! =) yay! Coz I'll have him to guide me again.. teehee. Met Weilin for lunch, we had korean food at the food court.
30th Nov, Wed: Work. Had hor fun for lunch at Connexions by myself. =) Went for qra mtg, since it ended early, I stayed back to chat with ys, ck, ct & built up our working r/s. Cabbed back for ops, that ended late, so didn't manage to have dinner with Serene. Met Pauling, Kevin & Jing Xuan for Indian food at Orchard Hotel. The Masala Thosai was not bad & cheap ($2.80)
1st Dec, Thurs: Witnessed a pretty tense mtg. haha fierce man.
2nd Dec, Fri: Mtg with industry. I got to wake up at 8am! On a working day! hehe. Coz the mtg was at 9.30am, Jurong east. Lucky! I had a good and long night's sleep! Cabbed back, had Ban Mian for lunch at cp's desk. Then kx, fz, al were sharing stories.. =) Chill & relax Friday! Rushed out an email update draft (I was having a mental block.. Grr) Was debating if I should go for the celebration party dinner, ss convinced me to go. So I left at about 6.20pm to meet the enc guys at taxi stand.
Cabbed to Dempsey Jumbo with cy, ss, sc. Throughout the whole night, ppl (esp lk) kept asking/mentioning st. -_-''' Super awkward. I didn't know where this came from!! Out of the blue man. They wanted me to sit with st/ww at the other table, but I didn't want to, coz I wanted to sit with ss, so ta went over to the other table! phew. Dinner was not as bad as I imagined. Had a lil fun, yummy food & of course WINE! Didn't drink a lot though, just 2 glasses of red wine, one white, one champagne. gc went round getting ppl to drink! lol. so cute. Xy gave me a lift home! (^^) Super nice guy! Even Xian Wen thinks so too..
Attempted to study japanese, but I fell asleep! =S
3rd Dec, Sat: Surfed the net in the morning. Attempted to study and fell asleep twice! Sigh. I'm so unprepared for N2! Brought Yuki down to TH (got a lift fromah xian jie jie), detoured to Rulang market to buy bread for the curry. Managed to finish reading through grammar (but can't say I rmb them..)
4th Dec, Sun: Woke at 7.45am, had a quick breakfast and left for SMU. Listening was better than the written paper! -_-''' Which is quite a feat! haha. The vocab/grammar were... Was rushing through the comprehension.. argh. I hope I can pass!!!!!!
Went Raffles City for lunch with Jing Xuan & Kevin. We ate at 西门町, food was so-so.. Took mrt to Chinatown where mummy & papa were killing time to wait for me. =D Spent the afternoon dl-ing iPhone apps & surfing the net..
I'll need to draft cr for Fri's mtg.. =S Work's such a bore! sigh.

16th Nov, Wed: Work. Had a last minute meeting, where I messed up coz I accidentally mentioned a name. Felt so horrible as I was rushing to Orchard for dinner (had macs alone since my meeting ended around 7.15pm..) =S
17th Nov, Thurs: Work. Met Geri for dinner at the food court, before taking bus to Marina Bay Sands for Kenny G's Heart & Soul Concert!! As we were walking towards the ladies, Kenny G walked past us! OMG. We were both star-struck! haha checked out his autograph session at the lobby, but decided against getting his CD.. His performance was awesome! He held a note for approx 1min? Really amazing stuff. And a lucky lady got to win a saxophone & be onstage with Kenny G! Judging from the overwhelming crowd at his after-concert autograph session (Geri & me included!), Kenny G did blew everyone's mind off. haha. Took 97 to Marina Bay station, then mrt all the way home!
18th Nov, Fri: Super sleepy since I slept at ~1am.. Met Tricia for lunch at Funan's Qiji! Our first time meeting for lunch ever since Tricia started work! =D Better late than never! Met tk to run through some songs, but our song database do not overlap.. So I decided to get hw to play for me! hehe. Tapau-ed dinner & drinks to 21st where ~9 of our induction batch just chilled.. =) Some played Rockband, some played foosball, while hw & I rehearsed for 25th's charity flea market.. Left around 10+pm (papa came to pick us up)
19th Nov, Sat: Manga, internet, ah gong's house, sleep.. Manga storm app is fantastic! =) Now I get to dl manga, and read them offline!! Yippee! New Prince of Tennis!

22nd Nov, Tues: Work.
23rd Nov, Wed: Batam! Plan was to visit industrial park but the workers were demonstrating & blocked the roads leading into/out of the industrial park. So we shifted the meeting with coy exec. Had lunch at Sanur (pretty yummy Sudanese food). We were able to enter the industrial park after lunch.. =) We missed the SGT4.30pm ferry, so we headed to A&W for some tea break (curly fries! 24th Nov, Thurs: Work. Met hw to rehearse at 6pm (but she had to leave early as it's her bday!), thereafter I rehearsed with tk till ~8pm, as hw might not be able to make it back for tmr's busking performance (last min mtg).
25th Nov, Fri: Charity flea market day! (technically it's from 12-2.30p), but since we had to set up the stall, prepare stuff etc, I didn't do much work today.. =P Papa gave me a lift to work in the morning since I had to bring the ang ku kueh agar agar to work.. Was super nervous for my performance at 1.15pm.. Didn't get much lunch, and I didn't have place/time to warm up..
Hw managed to make it back in time for the performance. But our performance was not satisfactory! First Love - a button got pressed accidentally halfway through the song, so we had to stop, then re-start at the 2nd chorus.. Love the way you lie (part 2) - I only learned the song last a week ago, so I kept forgetting the lyrics!! omg. Super paiseh & irritated with myself (I printed the lyrics but didn't really want to refer to it too much, so I ended up keeping silent at certain parts) 天黑黑 - Hw's nerves also affected her playing, so during the last part, we were out of sync.. oops.
But the crowd was pretty supportive, ppl were cheering & clapping for us.. And they were asking for encore (which we did not prepare) lol. I just wanted to hurry back to the seats coz I was sooo paiseh. Colleagues commented that my face looked stressed! Oh gosh.. Horrified! =S But it was a pretty fun experience! =)
I had 10 leftover agar agar.. =( ppl preferred the yam to yellow bean flavour.. I bought a second-hand carousel (that was purchased in Frankfurt) and perfumers (purchased in Egypt). For charity ma.. support each other lor.
Packed up, headed back to our floor, returned a call, checked email. Then headed back down to 21st for townhall (chmn made our bonus announcement - not that I'll get to receive since I'm not even confirmed yet.. haha)
Left office around 6.50pm for Somerset. Collected the movie tickets & bought Burger King's for dinner. Weilin came just in time for the show! phew. Breaking Dawn ended with Bella waking up as a vampire! haha now I can't wait to watch Part II, Part I was pretty slow with lots of unnecessary parts.. =S

26th Nov, Sat: Manga, internet, japanese (shit I only have one week left to study for N2 and I'm so not prepared at all). Brought Yuki down to th.. Started dl-ing Naruto, Bleach (man this took almost the whole day! haha too many chapters)
27th Nov, Sun: Went IMM for breakfast. I'd always go to Daiso to shop! haha. Bought a duster, microfiber cloth (to clean my chest of drawers etc), 2 embossing set (art & craft).. Had korean noodles for lunch. Mummy, papa & Di sheng went expo.. Did some cleaning & tidying (it's very therapeutic for me to tidy my room).
I really ought to go back to studying japanese now! There's a charity show on channel 8 later! (^^)

16th Nov, Wed: Work. Had a last minute meeting, where I messed up coz I accidentally mentioned a name. Felt so horrible as I was rushing to Orchard for dinner (had macs alone since my meeting ended around 7.15pm..) =S
17th Nov, Thurs: Work. Met Geri for dinner at the food court, before taking bus to Marina Bay Sands for Kenny G's Heart & Soul Concert!! As we were walking towards the ladies, Kenny G walked past us! OMG. We were both star-struck! haha checked out his autograph session at the lobby, but decided against getting his CD.. His performance was awesome! He held a note for approx 1min? Really amazing stuff. And a lucky lady got to win a saxophone & be onstage with Kenny G! Judging from the overwhelming crowd at his after-concert autograph session (Geri & me included!), Kenny G did blew everyone's mind off. haha. Took 97 to Marina Bay station, then mrt all the way home!
18th Nov, Fri: Super sleepy since I slept at ~1am.. Met Tricia for lunch at Funan's Qiji! Our first time meeting for lunch ever since Tricia started work! =D Better late than never! Met tk to run through some songs, but our song database do not overlap.. So I decided to get hw to play for me! hehe. Tapau-ed dinner & drinks to 21st where ~9 of our induction batch just chilled.. =) Some played Rockband, some played foosball, while hw & I rehearsed for 25th's charity flea market.. Left around 10+pm (papa came to pick us up)
19th Nov, Sat: Manga, internet, ah gong's house, sleep.. Manga storm app is fantastic! =) Now I get to dl manga, and read them offline!! Yippee! New Prince of Tennis!

23rd Nov, Wed: Batam! Plan was to visit industrial park but the workers were demonstrating & blocked the roads leading into/out of the industrial park. So we shifted the meeting with coy exec. Had lunch at Sanur (pretty yummy Sudanese food). We were able to enter the industrial park after lunch.. =) We missed the SGT4.30pm ferry, so we headed to A&W for some tea break (curly fries! I miss being a student!
31st Oct, Mon: Work.
1st Nov, Tues: Meeting with the CE/Commissioners! Waa. I felt sooo tiny in front of all the vips.. lol.
2nd Nov, Wed: Work.
3rd Nov, Thurs: Work. Met mummy & papa at Clementi Mall's M1 shop. Got my iPhone 4S! And a new contract (new number).
4th Nov, Fri: Work. Had fish slice soup for dinner in office, then met Wunly at MOE bus stop (she was late!) Sang at Teo Heng from 8-11pm.. =) Nice to catch up with friends! Audrey was alr at my place before I reached home. Did last minute packing. Synced some manga into my iPhone using iTunes (which I think is not user-friendly!)
5th Nov, Sat: Malacca! Very sleepy since I slept only 3 hours.. Had lunch at Jonker street, did some shopping, checked in, showered, rested, went out for dinner and shopping @ Pahlawan.. Bought tickets to Real Steel for the next night..
6th Nov, Sun: Shopping at Jonker street, lunched at Afamose chicken rice (not nice), shopped @ mahkota, Pahlawan.. Until I finished spending all my ringit! Papa said that he noticed I changed ever since I started earning money, my temper became shorter. Struck a nerve. I'm feeling so depressed and moody and lousy because I want to do something to make my parents proud, and my dad says I changed since I started earning money? When I told him, maybe my temper's shorter because I'm depressed, he said cannot be. My heart really sank when I heard him say that. I mean, he's kinda saying that I changed because I have my own income now? So not true. I don't think I changed, if anything, I think it's because the stress and depression is taking its toll on me. But he doesn't see that.
My mood just dropped after. Cried in front of Audrey, showed her my scar - and she asked why would I do something stupid.. Didn't really have the mood to shop. Real Steel was nice! =)
7th Nov, Mon: After breakfast, we checked out, drove to JB, Jusco. Had lunch at KFC (it was soo crowded everywhere!), window-shopped (since I have no more money). Drove back to Singapore around 5plus. Had dinner at home - herbal chicken tapau-ed from JB, stingray from nearby hawker centre, campbell soup, rice.
8th Nov, Tues: Sigh. Back to work! Had pre-al in the morning, where we did MBTI test.. I'm INFJ! Think it's pretty similar to the previous one I did way back in Crescent.. THere were 3 groups of extroverts and 1 group of Introverts! haha goes to show that most officers're extroverts..
9th Nov, Wed: office wars - pictionary play off! our team scored 275, but didn't make it to the final 4.. oh well, it was fun while it lasted! It felt like Friday to me coz I have adventure learning the next 2 days! No work!
10th Nov, Thurs: Adventure learning day 1! 2nd earliest to arrive! haha. Cab driver alighted my Costa Sands (downtown east) by mistake, so he dropped me off along the road and I had to walk to Costa Sands (pasir ris). Challenges: Time warp, marshmallow challenge, blindfold square, Moonwalk and Key punch. I had a really fun time! Felt like we were in school again, with all these orientation-like activities.. I miss school!!
We had a 'chef' to BBQ our food for us! haha. So cool right? Having a BBQ, but we don't have to BBQ our own food.. The original after-dinner plan was to have beer by the beach then go karaoke, but somehow it turned to having beer by the beach & just chilling there... So we just chatted (how long we plan to stay, our dreams, housing, transport... everything under the sun la). Then somehow I was asked to sing (can't rmb how we got there.. lol) I obliged and sang 新不了情, then I accompanied jl to sing A whole new world.. hehe.
Headed back to our room at around 12am? Showered and went to bed at approx 1am.. Tried to check email, but somehow the iPhone tethering bandwidth wasn't sufficient to maintain VPN, so I couldn't reply mails (hurray!) haha. Most ppl didn't even bring their laptops..
11th Nov, Fri: Overslept by 20min! haha. Luckily most ppl were not punctual.. hehe. Challenges: Nitro crossing and raft-building. We had to build rafts, but there were insufficient materials, so 3 teams decided to combine efforts and build 2 rafts, excluding one team (coz my team approached them at the start to trade for their planks but they refused.. ) It was super tiring 'rowing' the raft! haha. But super fun! =)
Nitro crossing was fun too! We got to swing from one platform to the other, and we sang hazwani a bday song! After our day ended, a bunch of us decided to go Chatime @ Ehub to try their Brown rice green milk tea (recommended by ss), which was really quite good! Their pudding's nice too! =)
Shared cab with al, ch, hw. Showered, unpacked stuff, had dinner, surfed net! But I dozed off in front of the laptop around 12plus.. Yup I was THAT tired. haha.
12th Nov, Sat: Surfed net, transferred photos, backup-ed. Left around 1.40pm for Orchard Central where we were supposed to meet to celebrate Ailin's bday. Then at 1.50pm, Tricia sms-ed saying Ailin's not feeling well so won't be joining.. -_-''' Which means I left house for nothing! grrr. Since Geri & Tricia were at Orchard alr, I just went there to meet them lor. Ordered the cheapest on Ootoya's menu - korokke. I've spent too much in the past month! =( Very bad for my pocket & heart. lol.
Took 111 to ah gong's house. Read Hapi Mari on iPhone..
13th Nov, Sun: Surfed net, read manga.. Going for colleague's wedding dinner later. Dunno what to wear yet! =( Hope it won't be a socially awkward dinner for me..

23rd Oct, Sun: Read Manga, studied a bit of Jap..
24th Oct, Mon: Applied Macro Econs @ SMU. Very interesting prof & lesson! But a bleak future outlook. I have no idea where will be a good place to live in.. haha.
25th Oct, Tues: Half day Applied Macro Econs @ SMU. Another interesting Prof & lesson.. =) Meeting at erm that overran! Ended at 7pm!!
26th Oct, Wed: Happy Deepavali! Went City Square Mall's Soup Restaurant for lunch with family. MJ with Uncle Michael, Dexter & papa (mummy was supposed to play but she decided to clear stuff). We were half an hour late.. And I lost all my chips! So that's 150/4 = $37.50. =( very very cui okay. My very first time! Losing all my chips. Wah lau, I had to rmb how much I owe each person coz I had no chips left to pay.. Luckily I didn't lose more than the chips we originally had..
27th Oct, Thurs: Dir level meeting. Jason came in his uniform! haha first time seeing that.. so I kaypoh-ed and asked him quietly why they were wearing their uniform.. =P

I lost a lot more initially, but after we switched positions, I started to win (so I managed to keep my losts below $10) phew. Lady Luck, why do you not bless me so?! Papa came to pick me at 7.30pm, had dinner at ah gong's house. Sui gu bought iPhone 4S!
Watched "Scared Shrekless" on channel 5! But I fell asleep while waiting for the Hallowean ep of The Simpsons!
30th Oct, Sun: Had breakfast around 1030am, then we headed to Ah yik kor kor's studio apartment at newton. It's really meant for one/two ppl, so small! oh gosh. Definitely wouldn't want to stay in such studio apartments (and it cost 700k leh). We had lunch at Jalan Besar (Ginseng chicken!)
Surfed the net, watched my anime (kyaaa!!!).. Watched 27 dresses (again). awww. Whenever I watch these rom-coms, I get the impulse to fall in love too! haha.
Okay. Now I shall start drafting my cr.. double sianz.

Mahjong! (^^)
I managed to play mj last night! (^^) I lost $0.75.. so not so bad la huh.. Reached home around 3.30pm, showered, went to bed at around 4am.
Woke up at 1pm! O_O haha I didn't expect to sleep in till 1pm, coz my biological clock normally prevents me from sleeping past 12pm. Had my Burger King hashbrowns (decided to keep the burger for tmr's breakfast). Lunched at 2.30pm.
Read through the JLPT 2 notes (I'm only at grammar#65, and there's like 250 grammar). How to finish memorizing everything by Dec?!? As for the 65 grammar I've read so far, I can't recall them! lol. I think it'll take a miracle to pass N2 this yr.. And I'm desperately hoping for one!!!!!
Shall do some work later after dinner, I have 3 call reports to write.. =S Sian la..

Read through the JLPT 2 notes (I'm only at grammar#65, and there's like 250 grammar). How to finish memorizing everything by Dec?!? As for the 65 grammar I've read so far, I can't recall them! lol. I think it'll take a miracle to pass N2 this yr.. And I'm desperately hoping for one!!!!!
Shall do some work later after dinner, I have 3 call reports to write.. =S Sian la..

What a busy week!
17th Oct, Mon: Work.
18th Oct, Tues: Work.
19th Oct, Wed: Trade 101. Physical Resources 101 - conducted my ED and Head. Course overran. Rushed down to tapau some sushi for lunch. Munched on some sushi while checking email in case there were any urgent emails. Packed up and headed to the lobby at 1pm, for a meeting 130pm. We were the earliest! haha everyone had trouble finding the place.. Mtg overran for half an hour, hitched a lift from xy to nea for another mtg.. Stayed back to use the lan to check email.. Then met Serene for dinner at Orchard before Japanese lesson..
20th Oct, Thurs: Cluster mission to Malaysia! Had to wake up at 5.45am since registration starts at 730am.. Kg was the last one to arrive for coach A! lol. Kinda paiseh.. Lots of presentations, quite a bit of networking, exchanging of name cards and food (tea break, lunch, tea break..) Then site visits.. One was a developer for industrial & residential. The mission concluded at 6.20pm, dropped off at the bus stop off the ex-Tang Dynasty, walked to the nearest 154 bus stop to take bus home. =) Exhausted. 53 unread emails! (luckily only a few needed my response..)
21st Oct, Fri: Lugged my laptop and brochures from yday's cluster mission (super heavy!!). Met the developer at 28th, and the execs at the lobby before leaving for Malaysia (again! haha back-to-back visit trips). The journey took approx 1.5 hours? Visited the industrial park, then the execs wanted to have lunch so we lunched at a country club.. So we reached office at around 2.30pm! Cleared emails, made calls to arrange teleconf date.. Drafted one call report.. Left at 6.15pm! haha couldn't concentrate anymore..
Had dinner - I always overeat! haha after the main dinner, I had potato chips, drank milk, had cookies.. -_-''' I always eat a lot when I'm stressed.. Felt very very tired, so I KO-ed on my bed from 9to11pm, when mummy woke me to have fries & sparkling wine.. Surfed net, reading manga, playing neopets before sleeping at 2am..
22nd Oct, Sat: Woke at 9am, had breakfast, watched 2 ep of How I Met your Mother on Star World. Read manga, watched anime the whole afternoon. Had my Marks & Spencer cereal for lunch..
As I'm typing this, I can hear mummy complaining that she "wants more smoke. more smoke smoke." - referring to her lukewarm seafood soup, she meant steam. *rolls eyes* Oh gosh.
Hopefully I'll get to play mj later tonight.. Trying to arrange one..

Money Money Money
14th Oct, Fri: Had a mtg with exec, it was mostly aw & fz doing the talking.. Had lunch alone at 21st; couldn't find anyone to lunch with...
Attended Ops for an hour before leaving with al for olas, then it was home sweet home! Read manga, played neopets..
15th Oct, Sat: Read manga, watched Sekaiichi ep 2. Watched ANTM season 16 finale. Yay! Brittani won! =) I was rooting for her! Dinner at ah gong's place, had a bowl of yummy beancurd! (^^)
16th Oct, Sun: Went IMM with mummy, papa & di sheng. Breakfast was a depressing event; halfway through breakfast when we were chatting about iPad & how 四姨 also has one, mummy commented that 四姨's always watching dramas on her iPad since she has time to follow them, but mummy can't coz she's always working from morn to night. That was the trigger.
Then mummy launched into a tirade on how she must have done a lot of bad deeds in her previous life, hence her bad karma this life, having to slog her guts out to repay my dad's debt. And she warned me to be careful when choosing a partner, never choose one that will burden you - to which I retorted I don't want to get married (seeing how my parents are).
She proceeded to say how my dad justs shrug it off by giving excuses like "oh, I'm poor what. I'm not able to do this, do that." and that my dad is not putting effort into earning money and he's just content to remain where he is while she 做工做到这样辛苦. So she reminded di sheng to study hard, so next time 做工不会做到这样辛苦.
I was very very uncomfortable throughout her whole tirade; 1. Uncle Michael was with us. 2. She was putting down my dad. 3. I had to control the urge to cry. Eventually, I had to go to the toilet to have my breakdown.
Then Uncle Michael mentioned that my job must be very "xing nang" meaning my job's very easy - just sitting in air con room, looking at the computer screen, making occasional calls.
I beg to differ. If he implies that my job is physically easy, I can agree (I mean there's not much physical activity). But my job is definitely not "easy" for me, the amount of stress I feel definitely doesn't qualify it as "xing nang". And I totally disagree that studying hard will guarantee you a "xing nang" job.
How I see it? If you LOVE your job, enjoy what you're doing, look forward to your job (no matter how physically challenging or mentally challenging) it'll be "xing nang". But if you don't, your job will NEVER be "xing nang".
So at the end of the day, qualifications don't matter, it's the passion/interest in that job that matters.
Sadly, I cannot say with confidence that I have the passion in the job, so it's not easy at all.
Gave Yuki a hair cut before showering her. Ah ma dropped by to pass us some oranges & to check if we saw her telephone book.. Before she left, she was telling me how Twee Twee told her mummy asked Twee Twee if she had been cooking the expensive fish for her etc etc. I hate listening to all these. Ah ma went on to say how papa's caught in the middle, that he scrimps & saves since he doesn't earn much, that he doesn't give ah ma allowance..
I hate how money problems are always popping into my life. I really hate it. I think the root of my depression might even be money. How can I earn more money? Maybe I should really contemplate studying medicine just for the money. haa. As if that'll happen right?
Brains does not equal money. I still don't understand why parents're always emphasizing on studying. Just look at me, everyone's always telling me I'm smart, but I don't see myself being rich. I think the parents should emphasize on which jobs to enter, and work towards getting that job.
It doesn't matter if you're top in class or school. All that matters is choosing that one job that'll give you the most money.
A pity I didn't see that in the past.
Now I'm just living in regret.

The sleep over that ended too soon?
2nd Oct, Sun: Lazed around..
3rd Oct, Mon: Discussed with wt my workplan, have to make more edits.. interagency mtg that ended one hour earlier! so we went down to toast box to drink coffee/snack.. feel slightly closer to them..
4th Oct, Tues: Lunch with MD. 3Q review. Everyone took 20-40min while mine took less than 5min (and half of it was wt talking/asking qn and then fz answering for me..) very depressing. luckily amd had left the review before my turn to present..
5th Oct, Wed: Work.
6th Oct, Thurs: 3Q review part 2. Followed by bowling at marina sq. Was in the same team as wt can! stressed & awkward. I hardly bowl & my fingernails were long so I didn't really dare to throw the ball as my fingernail will just break. After a fair bit of 'long kangs' I borrowed a nail cutter to cut my nails.. Dinner at Swensens.
7th Oct, Fri: Work. Had staff appreciation session 'Oktober fest' where snr mgmt served us ice cream & there was free beer from Brewerks & food.. =) As usual, I just drifted away from my dept ppl & chilled with induction peeps. Gave Yuki a bath so that she'll smell nice when Tricia & Geri come over tmr..
8th Oct, Sat: Went for health check up at Paragon, bought Marks & Spencer biscuits for mummy, went home, had brunch.. Then Tricia came around 2+pm.. Geri came around 3+pm.. Chit chatted for a while before heading to Jurong Point to catch "Friends with Benefits". After taking in the sights of New York in the movie, it felt surreal to come out of the cinema & realise you're in Jurong Point. -_-''' haha.
Had dinner at New York New York (a first for the 3 of us), food was alright. We asked for candy floss! haha it's been a while since I had candy floss. Bumped into xy as we were leaving, what a small world hor?!
Showered, watched Cars (I wasn't really paying attention, I was watching anime on my laptop), then we turned in at 12am? If my memory's correct, this's the earliest we slept at a stay over.
Honestly, I was kinda out of it for the sleep over. haha. Given how excited & keen I was for the stay over, I wasn't hyped up during the stay over. oh no, I'm losing interest in everything!!
9th Oct, Sun: Geri & Tricia left at 9+am, once again not exactly something exciting for a sleep over. Leaving so early! But what to do. Geri needs to call John. I'll just take the back seat (I guess there's no point whining about, just gotta accept it). =)
Spent the rest of the day reading manga in my room. =)

11th Oct, Tues: Work. Lunched with hcd peeps! Fish slice soup~ My first time at SCDF HQ to sit in a mtg..
12th Oct, Wed: Work. Had to ask wt something, wanted to scream out in stress after I talked to him. Dinner with Serene at Macs. =)
13th Oct, Thurs: Work. Had internal vision discussion during lunch (lunch was provided but it wasn't nice). Quite a fun session. Felt as though we were back in school, brainstorming ideas, putting tog a collage of magazine pictures..
Celebrated aw's bday. Then went to kranji for olas to see how it's conducted.. Cabbed home at 530pm! Home early! Managed to have dinner with family! yay!
It feels so strange, but I haven't been crying these few days. Maybe I'm too tired to even think sad things and cry OR my tear glands have decided not to respond to my depressing thoughts.
And I'm getting very muddled nowadays. I pumped out shampoo, only to put it on my body instead of my hair!! omg. My brain's dysfunctioning..
