Basically, the age group of my course mates at Stansfield varies from age 17-36 (accordingly to those I known is around these age range). Sadly to say I don’t really have much chance to interact with most of them but I roughly know their faces and names.
Most of the time, I’m always late for classes and just dash quietly to my seats, beside my gals friends(that I know from orientation). In the first place I also don’t really dare to chat with strangers readily too. Well, to girls, maybe Yes, but not to guys. But if the other party makes the first move, probably I wouldn’t ignore that person. Haha..
That’s how I came to know my neighbor cum course mate. As he stays near me, we tend to bump into each other and take the same train ride home after every lesson. Initially, we just practically ignore each other presence but after I guess 2 or 3 months later, he approached me one day and we started to chat from then onwards. Keke.. Apparently, he’s around the same age as my brother and still serving in Ns. Very mature-thinking for his age too. Oh ya, he’s super hardworking as well which can motivate & “stress” me that I’m lagging on my revision. I need that motivation because of my laziness; I probably just start last min which is a big “NO NO” for degree studies. Imagine there are big piles of notes to study for each of the modules, if taking chance to study everything last min, most probably can flunk the 4 papers loh. Tsk tsk..
Anyway, it’s true that knowing a few young friends will make one feel younger. The way they talk is somehow different too, more lively & bubbly. Last night I got to know another of his friend, even younger than him.
Shuan to me : Hey, you look like one of my senior in sec school wor.
John to Shuan : How can it be? Even in primay sch. If she’s in primary 6, you are not even in primary one!
Me : …......(Wat can I say?!?!)

Disappointment

I finally bought my N73 last sat! But sad to say, I found out there’s 2 bugs. Firstly is that the incoming call volume is very soft when I’m listening to mp3 using the earphones. Secondly is about the loud, irritating screeching sound when I’m trying to make video calls to my friends. Wah… Guess I have to go down to Singtel Bugis to change my phone within the week. Hopefully it will not be a wasted trip down and they will change a new one for me instead of pushing all the blame to Nokia.
Well, I’m really looking forward to use this new gadget and YET, this has to happen.
What a letdown! Pls dun let me lost the faith in Nokia.

Good news comes one after another
As some of you might already know it, our dear Mrs. Lim is 3 months pregnant! Woo, so unexpected! I’m seriously quite surprised when she broke the news to me yesterday because to me, she really dun even looks pregnant at all. Apparently accordingly to doctor’s advice, it’s better to reveal the news to others after 3 months later, which the bb condition is much more stable.
Very soon, we are going to have a new member in our poly gang! So cool~ Yeah!! I love babies. Even though, married plans are far, far away from me. I always dreamt of having twins if I really have kids of my own. But my colleague warned me it might be a chore taking care of 2 kids at the same time esp when they both look so alike. N most importantly, everything got to buy in 2 sets! Hahaa…
Anyway, luckily for Jess, her vomiting symptoms seem to have lessened over these 3 months otherwise she say she will not be able to enjoy her honeymoon wor. Hmm, so will it be a little jess or mike? Well, got to wait for 2 more months before can know the result bah. Now that I suddenly recalled, in the past, I’m always “conned “by them (Ade & Jess) of this kind of news on April fool’s Day. Now this round time, she’s really pregnant le. Hahaa…
Also, Ade is moving in to her new house at Yishun today. A day she has been waiting for very long after so many months of preparation. Come to think of it, most of my poly friends live around Yishun, Katib and Admiralty. All live so far away from my home! Pengz. Well, that’s partly why I seldom meet them up. Recently, as every one of us is so busy with their own life. I got a thinking - Is it really true that all of us might drift away further and further away as we grow older? I certainly hope that’s not the case.
Well, now that they got their own home, perhaps we can organize some of the gathering over there instead. How about doing some cooking, baking cake or play mj at times? Haha..
That’s just my own suggestion. >.< *wink wink*

Farewell
So fast! 4 years have passed since Mr Saruta (My Japanese boss) had been working in my company.
He was transferred here from Japan to improve the sales of cutting tools department, to cut down on bad debts and to look over for other departments as well.
And he did it! Very splendid results. The top management in Japan is very happy with it. I must say that he is really a very efficient and fast worker. Plus I realized Japanese are very hardworking as well as he’s always the first one to come to work and the last one to left the office. Make me tend to wonder why he doesn’t look tired at all. Hahaa…* 佩服*
One month ago, he finally got the notice from Japan that he had to return to Japan for other job duties. Kinda like an internal promotion to other departments. The first person to be thrilled about this news will be his wife. I heard that she isn’t very happy staying in Singapore as there is language barrier with the others and she’s having trouble communicating too. Anyway his last day is set on 20th Oct. So recently, our company decided to hold a farewell dinner for him. Dining place is at “Min Jiang”, a high- class Chinese restaurant at Good Wood Park. We had a 9 course-dinner (Imagine they choose S$1.5k for one table, so ex!!). Well.. who cares!?!? Most imporantly, we dun have to pay a single cents at all! Wahahaa...
Overall it’s really a very sumptuous meal. Yummy~My first time having 佛跳墙, lobster porridge and the best of all : Bird nest with almond milk! Woooo....
Well, 天下无不散宴席..Thank you dear Mr. Saruta for all these years. It’s been nice working with you and all the best for you!! Hope that the next Japanese boss will be as easy-going & nice as you.

Blissful Couples

Last fri went to attend Jess’s wedding at M hotel and I went straight to her suite the first thing I reach there. It’s so damn classy & spacious! The most significance thing I remember is that there’s a huge Jacuzzi in the bath room and I like how the red roses petals decorating “Love” around the coffee table. Very romantic feel~
Before Mike & Jess stepped in the ballroom, a video of their childhood, teenage yrs & poly pictures were shown. Plus some clips of how we sabotage those brothers & groom at Jess’s house in the morning. Looking through the re-play scene and their “tortured” expression made us laugh non-stop. This means it was a success and all our plans are executed well! A full- 45 mins of teasing and making them eat those horrible yucky raw bittergourd and wasabi bread. Hahaha…evil sisters!
While waiting for each dish to be served, me & 3 other gals were also busy snapping pictures ourselves.
Well it's not like we always have the chance to doll up so pretty, so MUST take lots of pictures as memory! Snap Snap Snap… lol
Anyway congrats Mrs lim! Hope to hear your good news of little mike or jess soon ah!
Keke.. 要幸福 wor.... Aren't they loving in the pic~
