Yesterday was my first day in class.
None of the gal friends that I knew from the orientation was in the same class (sociology) as me. Sad sia.
Feel so "lonely" in there esp when studying this boring subject combined with a naggy teacher.
Well, I already meet her during the orientation week and bored us with her lengthy talks within minutes.
And as usual, yesterday she threw a lot of smoke bombs at us and talked a lot of unfamiliar term. Arghh.. how how?? I have no single clue what's she blabbering about!!!
I really don't like this subject but what to do?!?! It's one of the core modules and I guess I really have to do a lot of read ups as the term goes by... pengz...
As for the other class, luckily I got Cindy with me. Although she was a third- year student, and I'm still in my first year. It was heng that we can still study the final and only class together! Things weren't so bad after all. Keke.. Without her help, I will still be in a blur of what to anticipate.
P/S : oh ya, did I mention that the admin staffs of that school SUCKS big time! I wonder that if SIM wasn’t so far from my home and plus the $$ issue, I wouldn't have choose my current school at all.

Unpredictable result
The result between Australia vs Japan was really unbelievable!
Imagine 3 goals within the last 8 minutes of the game for the aussie players! Kaoz…
It almost seems impossible but they made it happen…Damn it!
At first, I was elated at the breakeven score 1-1 because I bought 2 goals for that match, thinking that the score might not have any changes le. But I was totally WRONG.
My heart sank when my mum announced the final score. Arghhhh….. 3 -1 (Australia vs Japan).
Of course, some people are thrilled over it, but not me. Haahaa… Well, as the football is indeed round, there’s never a sure confirm chop answer to winning until the very last minute. You can only depend on lucks on winning. There’s always losing & winning in matches. But I just can’t accept why aussie got such luck! Really a world-breaking record for them!
Down the world cup history, it seemed that they have never went in a single goal for 32 years. But with this magical victory, their government is even thinking to announce a public holiday for their nation people to remember this special event! Wow…
Never mind then. Still have 3 more weeks to go, I shall continue to place small bets on other matches. Keke.. Watching the game and wining the bet together is JUST so exciting and tends to feel "gan cheong" too! *Hiak hiak*
Which country will emerge as the final winner?? Will the final result be what people had anticipated?
Brazil? Italy? England? Argentina? Or Germany?
We shall see….

Does Psychic power really exist?
Just finished reading a book : Psychic Eye by Victoria Laurie. Thankz to Bee. Well, She owns quite a small collection of books at home. For someone who’s really into reading so much, she revealed that she must read something before she goes to bed. If not, she can’t get to sleep. Hahaa… That’s not my style.
Frankly speaking, I’m not someone who will be caught in the library or book store, sourcing out for new reads. Ermm… I only read books recommended by others. So I welcome the idea of any good and interesting book that’s worth spending time on.
*Thrillers, Mysteries will do. No romance book recommendation pls. Thank you.*
Anyway, the book that I was mentioning earlier on was written by a Psychic which was a rare insight (Woo… I never really thought that there were really such people on earth). Basically, the main character, Abby cooper was working as a psychic intuitive and has a gift since young to read people thoughts and predict their own future easily. All the while, she felt that her life was quite bland – like vanilla ice-cream and hoping for some excitement to happen.
So one day, she decided to sign up for an online dating service to spice up her lonely, boring life. Surprisingly, it turned out that her blind date ends up is a detective - the last person on earth that she will unlikely wants to get romantically- involved with.
As previously on their date, Abby has revealed some important factors on one of the recent murders which lead to Dutch (her online date) to list her as the number one suspect in the death of one of her clients. The story continues to unfold of the romance between them and how they solve the mystery together without Abby becoming a victim herself to the real serial murderer.
Overall, I think that it’s quite a refreshing and engaging read. The interesting way that the author describes Abby’s psychic readings along with her quirky sense of humor made this book an easy read. I can’t wait to check out the other 2 books in the same series.
If you are looking for something light and fun, this is the book for you! Enjoy.
