Xmas Gifts

Why do happy times always fly so fast? Before we knew it, Xmas was over in a flash and Year 2006 is nearing to us in just another couple of days.
This also means that I’m going to be another year older too. Pengz….

Apart from that, I had a rather wonderful and splendid time, spend with my friends over the long weekend: watching midnight movie -
The Chronicles of Narnia and giggling over some silly mistakes make during the mahjong session (Well, we’re still newbies on this…so must pardon us wor)

For this year Xmas exchange, I received one SKII treatment mask and a toiletries bag from Dawn, a cute set of doggy poker cards and candle set from Cindy. (Thankz gals!!).

But that’s not all. The best part has yet to come (something that I always wants and dreamt of).

Well, this particular present was hand-delivered by my gs’s father yesterday morning.
At that time, I was sleeping like a dead log and couldn’t hear the phone ringing loudly in the hall. Guess I was too tired and beat from Sunday’s night mahjong session (used up too many brain cells).

He actually called mi 8 times( 5 times to my home, 3 times to my hp) and I didn’t heard a single one at all .Normally my mum will answer it and wake me up immediately.
But just happen that she was not around too and was out buying breakfast with my dad during that period of time.

Imagine my shock and embarrassment when my bro finally woke me up!! Her dad must be puzzled and wondering what is going on. What took me so long to answer the phone?!?! Haha..
Sorry uncle!!

I was still in dreamy and blur state of mind when I was fumbling thought the things that my gs passed to me. My eyes shone when I saw it! My greyish-blue winter jacket with fur hood( My Xmas pressie )!! Yippie…

Although beforehand, my gs has told me about it. I was still elated and surprised to see it as I totally forgot that her bro was coming back to spore that week. Other than my lovely jacket, there were also some letters and candys( from Black pool, Germany and London) for the SJC gals and Lisi. So sweet of You, Gs! Muacks!

You all must be thinking why I want a winter jacket even thought I cannot even wear it in Singapore. Well, it’s because I heard that it’s selling quite cheap and have quite a wide range of selection over there in UK. It’s also something that I always wanted. Hence I told my gs that no matter what, must remember to get me one of that before she left for UK. Keke..”kiasu” me.

How I wish I can wear it out in the streets! Hahaa.. But I think the people out there will be either laughing their heads off or rolling on the floor laughing if I really did that. Never mind. I shall patiently wait for an opportunity to use it then….Perhaps during on a trip to snowing season in Hokkaido or in Europe.

My New Hairstyle

I finally DID it! Hahaa..

For some of you who is reading this, might have know that I have the intention to do it for quite some time. And Yes! I finally permed my hair. Keke..

Actually, this is not my first time doing it. I got a free perming session, won at a online contest some years back. That experience was a total flop.

As for this time round, I decided to try out spa perm, which C2 done.

I always like japanese permed hairstyle and it’s hard to find stylist who can perm hair so well .
Judging froms hers, gave me the courage to go for it.
Plus, I did highlights to my hairs 2 months ago, which I think will make the curls more obvious.

But it didn't turned out to be what I expected in mind.
It's not really curly for my case – just a turn or so at the hair ends.
Hmm, perhaps my hair wasn’t long enough?

But at least this time round, the perm was so much better than the previous attempt.

Overall I still prefer C2’s hairstyle. Hers was so much nicer & ladylike, as compared to mine. Tsk tsk.

Maybe I should have waited for my hair to grow longer then try it.
Well, oh well, at least it's a new look and I took pictures of my new hairstyle on the first day for memory.
It always looks the best on the first day. Hahaa.... *Vain me*

Hope my hair grows longer faster then perhaps I will give it another try again! *cheers*

Juggle Bell Juggle Bell Juggle all the Way ..

WooHoo~ another 2 more weeks and it will be Xmas!! My favorite festival cum holiday of the year!! A time of to rejoice and exchange gifts with friends and family.

I’m can’t wait for it to come esp. for this year, had arrange Xmas exchange session at my friend’s house. Feeling quite thrilled at the thought of it, it’d been ages since we have this kind of arrangement. *cheers*

Every year around this time, I always enjoyed walking along the stretch of orchard road, admiring the dazzling Christmas light-up. As for this year, the Christmas Light-up was actually Singapore’s longest and brightest ever coordinated, stretching continuously from Tanglin Road, Scotts Road, and Orchard Road to Marina Bay area.

Warm red and orange lights decorated Orchard area whereas Marina Bay area will be a magical shimmering sea of blue and white, with flickering and sparkling stars. Furthermore, lots of exciting celebratory and choir performances can be seen along Orchard Road at three different locations – Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza, Paragon and Tong Building. While strolling by and feasting on the visual spectacle, it’s really a treat to listen to the loving Christmas carols which adds on to the Xmas ambience.

What i loves best, is that during this period, many shopping malls will also be offering irresistible promotions and great shopping deals. Guess with such spectacular array of celebratory events and great shopping deals, it’s a truly wonderful arrangement to attract tourists & locals to enjoy and basket in the joy of this festive season. Aren’t it great~

Now, come to think of it, I haven’t really done much Xmas shopping yet, was actually thinking to search for it during my KL trip (another 3 days more, Hurray).

A mini get-away that was planned 2 months ago. Yeah, can rest & relax for a while. Simply splendid~

Hopefully I will be able to buy some great bargains back. Otherwise, there’s always great shopping deals that’s not to be missed in Singapore, waiting for mi to grab. Haha..

Have you ever tried....

Taking personality, horoscope and love test before?

As for me, I do find that some of these test results are quite accurate and rather interesting. Keke...
It’s just for fun & entertaining purpose. It’s up to you whether u believes in it or not....

How about tarot cards? Have you try it before?

Well, I try out that once. Happens that one of my gs’s friends got a set of that.
I was kinda excited and curious to try it out because western fortune-telling are sort of different from our Chinese style. Perhaps it was more mysterious and in awe of it.

Anyway, just to share with you all. Here are some of the details and history background of Tarot cards that I check out. It is a deck of cards that originated over 500 years ago in northern Italy. Today, the Tarot is considered the most popular tool for spiritual introspection in the West.

A tarot reading is a snapshot of your energy at the time of the reading. Reveal many things to us and help show us paths we might not consider on our own. It looks at what you are manifesting and estimates likely outcomes based on the direction the energy is running at the time of the reading. While some outcomes are more likely than others, you set the energy and create your path.

A reading can give you insight and information but what you do with it determines your course, not the cards. They are merely a device to assist you along your path, with anything from everyday troubles to planning life changes and futures.

Tarot is one of many metaphysical tools that allow us to look into our lives and find out some extra information we hadn't really understood or hadn't known before. Working with the Tarot brings light to a confirmation of things you've always known (your own inner wisdom), or adds a new perspective to a perplexing question or problem. Tarot gives you a context for understanding not only what your choices are, but how you feel about them.

Guess that’s the basic information about the whole Tarot cards. After reading all these, maybe I will get one of that set of it to try it out.

Anyone wanna sponsor one of that for me? *grins*
