I've finally finished learning all my driving modules. All in 15 lessons. So, I basically have 7 revision lessons to go, since i've booked 22 lessons in advance right till my test day. My instructor was like asking me to cancel 2 lessons and i will since 2 lessons = $120. :) My mum was commenting that why is it that i am ending my lessons earlier and earlier each time.. haha. cos seriously aft learning parallel parking and trying it for quite a few times, I've got like close to 45 mins to spare. So my instructor took me to recap on other things and still we have 15 mins to spare. So, i was let off 15 mins earlier.. :s lol. And we really crapped alot.. cos we were just driving round..

And I'm going to boycott topshop sooner or later. Cos i bought 2 top a few days back and it was alrdy at a discounted price.. (since its the GSS) Frm $36 to $21. So i thought it was a good buy and bought it readily.. AND yesterday, i was at topshop again and saw the same top going at $13. Different outlet though. BUT.. they give more discount again, jux aft a few days. Walao. Heart pain. I could have saved $8 more. :s

I just clicked the submit button for the uni application. Took quite a while b4 i could have the courage to click the button.. Like wy and mingwei say.. Just accept and dun think too much.. haha So, NTU here i come :)

You must be wondering how i came to this conclusion.. haha. well, it is based on my inner feelings that i'll do well in ntu in these 3 yrs.. I just got this feeling. (my feelings are very accurate okay!) :)

Had driving lesson today.. Was talking to the instructor and realised that the school pays them peanuts for the number of hrs they work.. Seriously, its the same as admin job (for those temp staff). Walao.. The school really profits alot.. Plus profiting frm private instructors who have to pay each time they use the circuit (counting by the hr). Imagine a man working there as an insturctor.. with the little amount of money that they take home... how to survive? how to start a family and all? Oh well, they may say that it is their interest to work with cars, but they have to be more pratical at times..

My mum and i were dicussing about what job is appropriate for me when i graduate.. haha. Then i told her that i'll not set up my own business (ironically, i'm studying business!) Guess i'll prefer it when lots of money enter my pockets every month (Its good to earn like $10 000 plus a month.) and not worry if more money is needed to put into the business venture, although i noe that i'll earn big bucks if the biz is successful. okay.. i'm starting to dream.. haha

I overheard my dad talking to one of his business associate on the phone just now (okay.. i noe its wrong of me to do so.. :p) and this is the first time i found out more about office backstabbing and all.. It seems that there is a spy in the company. Gasp! But i think its quite common in the working world.. and i've to learn how to deal with it in future.. So apparently, the other company which is a MNC know about my dad's plans.. okay.. A fight between a SME and MNC.. lol. But, seriously, i've got great faith in my dad.. He will get the ultimate victory. Think positively. :)

My English is getting atrocious.. I've not been reading alot lately.. Just glancing at the headlines in the newspapers everyday. Oh no.. this is the result of not going to school for 6 months! Plus work didn't really help it cos basically we are doing filing and all.. u noe basically office work, which don't require alot of writing.. I guess my brain cells are begining to degenerate slowly. I don't think i can think as quickly as b4.. :p

Overheard a boy talking to his father over the phone today.. Boy," Dad, what take you so long. Have you been deceiving me and watching TV all these while?" Gosh, he's only p2 and he uses words like deceiving.. Guess many of us will use the word lie or bluff.. haha.

I'm like going for driving lesson everyday.. cos had to finish up in time for my exam.. My instructor is super funny and good.. making the lessons even more enjoyable :) And it seems that the alot of ppl are learning driving as i meet at least 1 person whom i noe, each time i go for my lesson.. lol

At 9 plus in the morning today, i was awoken by a phone call. Then, the bombshell hit me. I have to go back to work tomorrow and the day after!! Ahh.. Its bcos they only have 1 ppl working on these few days, with Rachel taking leave and all.. They don't have to call me so early in the morning just to tell me that right. Anyway, i negotiated with them and they allow me to take half day for these two days.. Reason: Driving lesson. heh! Counting how many more days do i have to work (since i have promised them alrdy) - 10 more days!! It seems that they keep asking me to go back to work. So i will keep to my stand after these 10 days and say no! to wadever request they make, even if they give me a pay rise (as if they will, since they are so stingy pok pok. haha) So just to comfort myself since i thought right frm the start that i can end my work in May.. I keep telling myself that there will be 1 month of break and slacking for me in July.. and maybe will be so bored then that i want to find work to do! And my mum was saying that don't say u loathe work so that in future more work opportunities will come to you! (haha. she has been reading alot of those self-help books which teach her to think positively.)

Watched What happened in Vegas yesterday. Ratings: 3 star. Its the usual plot.. Guy and girl hated each other at first then while they got back at each other, they realised that they were in love with each other. Then, they live happily ever after. There was a girl at the back of me who laughed so loudly during the show.. haha. could tell that she was feeling rather excited over certain parts (her laughter tells me that). cos the show has some sexual content. so u noe what i mean o.o

Seeing my sis studying so hard for her o'level really got me thinking if i studied as dillgently as her during my o's / A's.. She could wake up at 9am, study till lunch.. continue.. break for 5 - 10 mins in between, after dinner, continue again and will stop at 1 am.... All in the room.. no music, no tv, no distrations.. wow. haha. i wasn't like that in the past.. I would wake up at 10 plus, studied for a while, had lunch, then sat at the couch in front of the tv, switched on the tv (with a book) then i would dooze off in the middle.. woke up 2 hrs later and studied a little before i had my dinner. After dinner, would be the same.. turning on the tv, watching show and reading at the same time. The only time that i really sat down to study at my table will be at 10p.m. (when there is no more show to watch) but of cos, with the radio on.. I would tune in to 98.7 Fm, listened to Muttons at midnight.. laughing at their jokes and listening to the music as i studied.. It would be till 2 plus 3 b4 i went back to sleep. Haha. see the total difference! No wonder my dad keeps commenting that i would have fared better in my exam if i really sat down and focused on my studies.

No regrets. I shall make uni life a beautiful experience. :)

Surprise, Surprise! In the end, yesterday wasn't my last day at NAPS. Have to go back on the last two weeks of June as they forsee that they will need manpower on those days. I was also asked to come back next week.. but then i rejected them and said I had to learn driving. So, I asked them to ask the other temp staff to go back and they were like dun nid help then.. dots. Okay, wadever. On a positive note, I can make more money b4 going to Taiwan.. :p



I still remember 2 yrs ago when we set up a face painting booth and didn't get to enjoy Mardi Gras.. So the performances were quite enjoyable yst and i esp loved the segment when the teachers sang :p We also saw many ex tjcian and some juniors. It was really heart warming and i miss school all of the sudden. Hope uni will be as fun (=

Had a very late dinner (ard 10 p.m.) cos we went in early to get free admission.. Crap.. didn't get to eat the japanese food opp school cos it was too late..

So, I got home at ard 11.20 p.m. and saw my neighbour on my way back. It has been some time since i last talked to him. (since last yr? haha.. okay pathetic. ) cos he is in army and all..

Okay.. I have a sudden urge to go to kbox.. Any takers? :)

Just came back frm Mardi Gras. Super tired and sweat alot jux now.. haha. Shall blog more tmr :)

Today was my off-day and coincidentally my bro n sis didn't have school too. So we went to have bak kut teh at Racecourse road.. It is supposed to be very delicious. Like all the famous ppl go there to eat. But then it wasn't as nice as i thought it would be.. o.o So guess we will still be sticking to the one at PSA (Did i mention that my family loves to eat bak kut teh.. haha. we used to have it everyweek but now, we cut it down to once every two week :p )

Okay. Went for driving lesson today. Drove at the test routes. And it was quite boring to drive the same old place.. with lots of cars and drivers who do not want to give way. And i was taught how to do the emergency break today. So when my instructor tapped the board all of the sudden, I was supposed to brake immediately and push my body backwards.. Okay.. I did jux that but with the screamings added to it. So my instructor stared at me and with his eyes wide open. Lol. Natural reaction.

Tmr is supposedly to be my last day at NAPS, but not so sure if it will be..

Went to SMU tea session on Sat. Gosh. Everyone was like going for some kind of fashion parade.. And the prof kept comparing SMU with NTU and NUS and i personally feel that their speeches were nothing amazing.. They were just using statistics after statistics to entice people to join. even students themselves weren't talking that fantastically.. (so much for focussing on class participation so that everyone is out spoken.. ) What's more, heard that it is becoming a mini NUS.. and ppl really compete to earn class participation points. Okay.. Think the only good thing abt it is that it is near my house- 20 to 30 min bus ride..


Met ppl frm 16 oh 6 for lunch on Sun. And i must say that meal was one of the cheapest meal i had.. haha, cos i ordered only a sandwhich.. Then ate the Mango ice frm HK cafe again. It was super nice..

I jux realised that everytime we go on an outing, we will just have lunch/dinner together. It seems that there is nth much to do in SG. We can't also go shopping with the guys ard.. And their idea of shopping is buying MP3 etc... (Me: Lets go shopping.. Justin: I want to buy an MP3 . ) Dots. What other things can we do, other than watching movie, eat and shop in singapore. lol.

And i just realised that shops are super stingy to the amt of discounts they are giving during the great singapore sales.. almost all shops give like 20%.. more discounts for those ugly items.. Wads the point of having the GSS when sohps have been giving similar discounts throughout the year.. dots.

Okay. A random question jux came to my mind, so pardon me for my ignorance. Like frm the day that 1 is born.. how do we noe that that person is destined to use his or her left or right hand to write.. If we do not know.. then does it mean that the person who teaches u how to write is the one who determines it.. like if frm young u are trained to write using ur right the that means u are a right hander rite? So if this is the case, why is there still left handers? o.o haha. okay. totally random :)

I had a super duper busy day at work today. Lots of answering of phone calls, lots of interruption that caused me not to finish up my work quickly. So sometimes how i wish i could pull out the plug to the phones cos the phone calls are quite irritating. The phone kept ringing.. one call after another. Some asking questions that they should have alrdy known.. Those ppl who called were really demanding.. demanded to immediately speak to whoever they want to find.. Like they want means they want arh. The teachers also have their own schedule.. Sometimes the phone started ringing early in the morning... Like real early, ard 7.45.. Plus not to mention walk in customers who also demanded to see certain ppl even without an appointment.. not even knowing if the other party is free or not.. Gosh.. talking about unreasonable ppl and it happens almost everyday!

But my colleagues are quite nice. Like one treated me to lunch tdy.. It was like a total surprise cos she jux walked pass.. then passed the money to the auntie selling malay food.. Cos she spoke to the auntie in Malay and before i knew it, she passed the money to the auntie. I was like huh.. wads going on.. haha..

Yesterday's driving lesson was quite good. haha. I'm begining to be more confident in driving.. Except for the first 5 to 10 mins when i first set off.. I was like oh shittt.. then slammed the bakes.. cos i haven't been driving for 2 wks. lol

3 more working days. Its the long weekends again :)

Sld i take up a job recommended by one of the teachers after i end my work at NAPS.. $1500 for a 5 day week.. normal office hr.. plus lesser workload then this present 1.. or $400 for 5 sundays as facilitator... hmm. the facilitator 1 sounds good. cos i get to slack for some days and yet earn some money. haha.

Met up with Pong Joo tdy for dinner at Plaza Sing :) Its amazing that our friendship of 7 yrs managed to last although both of us are very busy with our own thing. We chatted like nobody's business.. frm school, guys, other frens, overseas experience to facial treatment to.. haha uncountable.

I was talking to some of the teachers during lunch tdy and we talked abt marriage (like not missing the boat) cos some of them missed once n then find it hard to find another partner.. So they were like saying dun miss it.. haha then we talked abt career.. I had a great insight into some of their careers that they had before they became a teacher. I used to think that the teaching career is a tough job and not recommended.. But while talking to them about their previous jobs (like working in hotels and all), i realised that the teaching path is better than all those jobs. Like one of them studied tourism and when they went to work they started off as chamber maids and all.. This is despite them having a diploma.. So they had to clean dirty things in the room (like really disgusting stuff).. So comparing being a teacher and working as all those, its quite a blessing to be able to work as a teacher.. My immediate response to it was " wah. Being a teacher is soooo much better! " But of cos being a teacher is not my cup of tea.. But comparing it with jobs like those type.. it is much better :)

Having driving lesson tmr.. Gosh it has been quite a while since i have touched that steering wheel..

I met a nice taxi driver tdy. I was jay walking as usual at the main road (oops) and jux when i crossed half of the road, i could see frm afar a whole lot of cars.. so the taxi driver who was first in line slowed down for me to cross quickly b4 i get stranded in the middle of the road :) Okay. Totally random..

Changed my template tdy cos i was utterly bored at home.. Hope ppl like daphne will find it easier to navigate this blog :)

And my sis was asking me some phy qns and was struggling with it for a while as i have pratically forgotten everything.. But still managed to solve it in the end :D I still rmb when i was struggling with phy or maths or chem, I had no one to turn to for help at home.. Have to constantly solve them by myself. So I have always wanted an elder sibling so that like wad my sis is doing now, I can ask for help. haha. Its like this being the eldest in the family.. My siblings expect me to be able to know everything since i have gone tru it before.. haha. so quite embarrassing if i do not know! :p (cos its not as if i'm super clever or anything wad!)

It has been a long long time since I have the chance to wake up late on a weekday.. All bcos of work and work and more work.. which requires me to wake up at 6 plus everyday!! Why should we work so hard now when we jolly well noe that we will have to work non-stop once we graduate!

Went to T3 with my mum and bro tdy for lunch after sending my dad off for his business trip as usual.. (I really hope i can be like my dad in future and get to travel every now and then:P) Bought lots of chocolates frm candy empire. haha. Growing fat :( Daphne's weighing machine only made me feel depressed.. haha

Okay, so yesterday was mother's day.. My siblings and I treated the entire family to a buffet dinner at Coca.. Ate alot since it was a buffet, ordering lots of prawns, fish etc. haha. Plus we bought a Guess bag for my mum.. So this mother's day was quite expensive but my mum deserved it... She has been ferrying us to and fro from places, paying for our meals, shopping stuff and all.. So, yea.. to the hippest and coolest mum in the worls, Happy mother's day! (My mum is super hip in my eyes cos she goes kbox with us, singing the latest songs, listen to the lastest popular songs like click five, James blunt, jay chou, wang lihom etc etc, watch tons of movies with us, buy clothes that are young and hip. haha.. )

And woke up quite early yst jux to travel to the other end of singapore to attend NBS tea session.. Managed to ask the Dean all the questions that have been on my mind and should i say the 3 years direct honour seems good.. It can really save some time and mayb i can go on to master's after that :) Met another Tjcian there and well.. another new friend being made. haha.And i saw Wang nan there.. We were like laughing our heads off when we saw him.. O.O
Oh well, shall go to smu tea session first then make up my mind.. If i really dun like the environment there after the tea session then NTU here i come! (cos out of the 2 or 3 times that i have been to smu.. I dun really like it there.. the strong security and the students there.. )

Okay.. I'm like supper bored now.. I dun want to go back to work tmr..Nooooo.

Just got home at 12 a.m. sharp after being out for the whole day.. And i'm blogging nw while waiting for my hair to dry..

Okay.. Today's highlights: Cycling, dinner at Cafe Cartel (siglap) and then pigging out at daphne's house.. All to celebrate sam, si hui and bx bday.. Happy Bday to the bdae peeps :)

Met wy, soohui, daph, bx and sam for cycling tdy.. and cycled 27 km, from ECP to changi village and back to ecp again.. in 2 hrs! A great feat for me... And of cos somethings happened while we were cycling.. Like i cycled over a snake which was alive at changi village as I didn't want to swerve and land in the drain.. Then, after a while, i ran over a alrdy flattened rat.. which according to daphne was still alive or sth.. Amazingly, when i told my mum abt it.. she jux said "okayyy" and joked abt the chinese phrase of the snake and the rat... There wasn't any strong reaction frm her.. However, my dad was like "wad?!?".. dots. These reactions were totally unexpected.. Normally, it will be my mum who will be fussing over all these, not my dad..

Then we decided to go to siglap for dinner instead of cityhall.. and while daphne and wy cycled there, the rest of us who was supposed to walk there, decided to cab there. We were jux simply too lazy and tired to walk there :) Dinner was good.. with us eating alot of bread, which was free flow.

After that, we decided to go daphne's house.. and bought alot of chips and ice cream to eat there..

The ice-cream was good and it was the only tub ice cream other than ben's and jerry and the ice cream frm philippines which i found good. haha We were choosing the ice cream by seeing where it is being manufactured.. saying like this is frm xxx country.. no wonder not good and lets try this frm xxx country.. sld be good.. haha (i didn't say which country so as to prevent any uproar over it. lol)


Should i say we went over to daphne's house just to watch tv.. haha.. Okayyy we talked abit and as usual made fun of wx and wy.. and maybe the main purpose is to see daphne's house.. haha..


Okay.. have to wake up early tmr to go for the ntu tea session, although i dun tink i'll find it useful as they will beautify everything.. And happy mother's day mummy :)

The long weekend is here at last! :) haha. One extra day of not having to wake up early and "work" for 9 hrs, which include sitting there, doing nth..
7 more working days to go and i'll have my one mth of break! Was supposed to end work on the 23rd of May but they want me to come back on the last week of june.. Well, I've no complaints as long as i get some break first. Anyway, its good to earn some more cash before I really stop working and wait for uni to start.. But, as usual, being in the workforce has made me realised that such may just be empty talks and they may not want me to come back in the end.. like when they have found a new temp etc etc..

Just watched the movie, Iron Man in the cinema.. It was really gooodd! :)

It feels so good to jog today, after 5692834 months. Surprisingly, Tianqi went jogging with us too :) Next time, we can go swimming and hit the gym and more jogging when sharon is back!

I'm still in a dilemma regarding which uni to choose from! Someone please enlighten me!

Nooo.. I think i'm growing taller :S Thats wad everyone told me these few days. haha.

I'm really glad that the sixteen-oh-six clique still get to meet up regularly even after we are all soo busy with our own things and some of them went back to their own countries (in which we tot that we will never see them again.) So yea, its quite good when Andy, Lihong, wen xin and alia come back once in a while and we get to meet up. So our friendship doesn't stop after the 2 yrs of JC life :) And so, we met up with Andy today and really talked for 1554827 hours. haha. We reminisced about the stupid but interesting things that we did during our JC days, like old ah pei and ah mah. But it was fun :) Okay.. More outings next week when we meet for cycling then dinner.

I feel that life is quite meaningless now - going to work everyday, doing things that doesn't require much thinking, going home after work, sleep then wake up the next day and get ready for work. Its like 1, 2 or even 3 months have passed by without me doing anything useful. Tis is quite stupid.. But then again, what useful thing can i do? hmmm..

#2 Rather busy at work these few days. Like jux today had to rush a work in like 20 mins and i tink it was done rather sloppily. Oh well.. who ask them to give me work at the last min when i had to leave on the dot to teach. Guess i'll redo it on mon.. jux can't stand the sloppiness..

#3 Earned $60 today in jux 2 hrs.. teaching a class science and it happens to be an easy topic - matters.. haha. super easy to earn :)

#4 8th lesson for driving and i prefer my tis instructor than any others.. For one, he doesn't talk alot of crap during lesson and doesnt ask stupid qns.. Plus he simply looks like a che shen (loosely translated as car god in english) when he drives.

#5 I don't know which uni to choose.. SMU or NTU or NUS business.. All seem the same to me :P

#6 Met my paternal side to celebrate my uncle's bdae on 30th april aft having not met for dunno how many donkey years.. As usual jux went there to eat.. Like nth much to tok to my cousins now.
