Today was one of the rare cases whereby a surprise bday "party" was successful. haha. It really caught tianqi unaware! :)

N i passed my FTT tdy :) means i can take my practical test in June. 17 June to be exact. N soon i can start to cruise in my mum's car.. haha. :)

N N 4 more weeks till the end of my contract and after that its 2 months of break for me! wooho. haha, Not that i detest working there.. just that i hate it when i have got nth to do and most of the time it happens. Plus i dun really like the "boss" there.. when they think tt there is alot of things we are not allowed to do just bcos we are temp stuff. even simple things like using the intercom, is not allowed.. Must be done by permanent stuff. What the.. To an outsider, one may feel that there is nt to complain abt.. but plus the tone that is being used and all, it really gets on my nerve.. Plus, there are alot of accusations. I'm alrdy being kind enough by not saying who is it :p

I saw a scene tdy that made me laugh really hard :) A P1 or P2 boy was in the same room as a p6 boy and after an hr or so.. before he left the room, he said to the older boy," I don't friend u. u are a naughty boy!" With that, he carried his heavy school bag and ran out. I found it super amusing and it is really a great example of childhood innocence and their ability to be frank. As we grow older, we are constantly lying or keeping our feelings to ourselves so as not to hurt another person. But children can afford to not think so much abt the consequences and just say wad is on their mind. And when we grow slightly older, in our teens, we also possess a type of innocence.. when we give ppl things with no string attached. I still remember one of the radiographers whom i worked with during my job shadowing told us that we should capture the moment of innocence when we gave them things in appreiation of their guidance. He told us that such are rare in the future when we give our bosses gold watches etc, with a certain motive behind it. I feel that this is quite true.. Its hard to find any innocence when one grows up and enter the workforce.. Cos the harsh reality is that if we are too innocent, we will be easily ousted. This is what i feel about the workforce aft only 4 months plus of working. People may be nice to you on the outside but actually there are alot of bitching and all going on. ha!


I think I may choose smu after all.. due to the convenience of getting there. And it seems that i dun noe any1 who is confirmed going there. "_"

I had my retail therapy session with wy jux now.. It feels really good to be able to splurge on clothes etc with the extra cash that i'm making. Wonder how i will survive when i end my work in May and decide to join the unemployed group.
Next up shall be splurging on food with wy.. :)

Just had my driving lesson jux nw.. haha. went out to the roads tdy :)
The instructor was super talkative. One thing i dun understand is that when I started msging to wy and a few others aft lesson (while the instructor drove me bac).. the instructor tot that i was msging a guy. Cos he was saying at this age girls msg mostly to guys. Rubbish lahh.. My girlfriends rawkss k? haha. Just find it weird and stupid that some people feel that every1 sld have a boy/girlfriend at this point in time.

Plans for my long awaited holz in june and july.. haha :
1st 2 weeks of june: Learn driving everyday and pass my driving test
3rd week of june: Thailand trip
4th week of june: slack at home and shop
1st week of july: Taiwan trip

Okay i've not planned for the rest. But i guess I'll keep gg out with frens during this period.. esp those who will join the unemployed sector then :)

Woohoo.. A letter of acceptance into SMU's Business Management course!
Just excited cos at least there is 1 uni which has accepted me! This letter came as a pleasant surprise to me cos the interview is very competitive at smu.. But I may or may not accept it cos for one, I am afraid that I'll be not used to the style of learning at SMU. N i'm quite tempted by NTU's direct honours. Well, BUT its near my house! I dun have to travel so far for the 3 or 4 years of my uni life. haha. I think i shall wait n see :)

Work has been rather okay for me. Time seems to pass rather quickly.. See!! Its alrdy thurs tmr.. close to the weekends! N i'm really glad i'm stopping work at end may.. I dun want to spend my time working and then enter uni! Afterall, its super rare to have a longgg break of 6months or so. haha. sld really slack for a while!

I'm dead beat. I've been out for the whole day. Jux came bac.

In the morning, went to bugis with some of the 16 - oh - 6 clique to celebrate wy bday. Well, I'm glad she n her mum like the present. haha. Then took neoprints. Was feeling a little old when we stepped into the neoprint shop. The feeling is jux different as being in the workforce / army for guys has made us become more mature. haha.
I'm aso glad that wen xin is able to come! I rmb feeling so sad when sch ended n wen xin had to go back to JB. In the end, Wenxin keeps coming in to SG. Like keep seeing her. haha. Really glad to be able to maintain such friendships even though we may not be in the same country. haha.

Then went for my family dinner at some restaurant at chinatown. They even have a karaoke system in the room, which has both old n new songs. haha. I only realised today that my mum's side has more than 44 ppl! N i just found out that my cousins have very good vocals! they can really sing like those professional singers! lol. Okay. this gathering has made me know more abt my extended family as i seldom interact with them due to the age gap difference mainly.

My Grandma's bday is next sun. She will be turing 88. wahh. haha. another family gathering again. :)

I'm tired. It seems that the weekends are passing too quickly compared to weekdays. Ha!

what the crap. I am only good at the right turn n not the left turn although its only my 2nd lesson.
what the crap. why did my instructor change today. I prefer the first instructor.
what the crap. Bcos of my gp grades, I had to go for an interview at NTU. Travelled for 1.5 hrs for just a 10 min interview, which fortunately turned out to be okay.
what the crap. I have not received any letters from smu when others received it. But they are from other faculties so might be different.
what the crap. 6 more weeks till my contract ends. (its like super ultra longgg)
what the crap. My e-trial is next week and yet I have not studied.

But on a happier note, I'm glad that Sat is here, which means meeting my friends, having dinner with my extended family AND collection of air tix (I noe this sounds dumb but i'm quite excited over the collection) :)

N i really hope someone will soon take over Pearline's place at work. At least there is someone to share the burden with when we meet unreasonable people.
