A life lost is a life lost...

today during prac we had to draw blood from mice...
and to make it easier, it was put to sleep first...
all groups successfully withdrew blood...
my group withdrew blood successfully too... but at the cost of the mouse's life...
it had become limp and withdrawn..
trying to revive it was unsuccessful...
heartbeat was faint... and soon it slowly stopped...
and it slept forever...

amount of drug was injected correctly...
God knows why it wouldn't wake up...
