Latest CJ story...."Actually pilgrims came from a ship and there was about 100 of them, they came from Mars, they came heare and then they boated clear past China and then landed, a couple of them died and then the children had to hunt because the moms and dads died. If they are under 6 or 7 the boys had to wear skirts, but the girls always wore pants.

The reason some of them died because they couldn't breathe on land. The pilgrims came from Mars but they are not aliens. They just came from the other side of the world. If they had to go the bathroom they had to go in a little jar that went into the ocean and it was very nasty.

update-CJ said they didn't come from Mars, they came from this planet we are in right now. They were made on earth and that is where they came from.

Gosh I love that kid!

CJ said the funniest thing today...I was making him some oatmeal and got water out of the kitchen tap. He asked me "Is that well water?" I told him NO. He said "Yeah it is, there is a pipe in our house that goes all the way to seaworld...that is where Shamu lives, and he is a whale, so it must be whale water." I laughed so hard I almost fell down. Everytime I think about it I crack up!

This is a picture of Rylee's first day of school. She is in 3rd grade this year and she loves her teacher Mrs. Loveless. Her favorite things about school are reading (she reads everything she can get her hands on) and science. She is a great student and the teachers always tell me how much they love having her in their class. At recess she is jumping rope, learning how to double dutch and loving it. It is so funny that she comes home singing some of the same songs that I sang when I jumped rope a million years ago.
I am so proud of what a great girl, student and sister she is.

Cj is so funny! Today is his fifth birthday. I can't believe that he is five already. He has such a rough start and there were lots of times we didn't think he was going to make it. Now he is a rowdy, crazy, mouthy, cute, sweet, adorable big boy. He told Cooper yesterday "Dad you can't point your gun at the sky. You might accidentally pull the trigger and shoot Jesus!"

On Sunday Rylee, Cj, Cooper and I went to Lagoon. We played at Lagoona Beach. Rode pretty much all the rides. Ate lunch and had a real blast together! Rylee and Cj are both so big now. They rode the Collossus, the roller coaster, wild mouse, pretty much all the big roller coasters. They probably would have rode them all twice but I said we had to take a break before I puked!
We had a great weekend. Cooper had the day off on Friday, we were able to get all the yard work done, the house ready for CJ's party and then Cooper and I went to dinner and the bar. It was awesome it was so nice to be somewhere for a few hours with NO KIDS!!!

Saturday was Cj's fifth birthday party. I can't believe he is already five. We set up the swimming pool and his new slip and slide. The kids played in the water. We bbq'd burgers and hot dogs. Opened presents and had cake and ice cream. Then Cooper and Clayton set off fireworks. Morgan really enjoyed Cj's birthday cake!Reese bought Cj a skateboard. Look how styling he is!

Cooper decided that for Father's Day this year he wanted to go fishing. We drove out to Vernon Lake it was soooo windy! We stayed there for all of fifteen minutes. When his hat had blown off for the third time we decided it was time to go. We ended up going to Highland Pond. Which is this little teeny tiny pond inside a park in Highland. Rylee's fishing pole had been in the water about fifteen minutes when this monster Catfish attacked it! She was so excited, she was able to reel it in pretty much by herself with just a little help from Daddy. Unfortunately she was the only one to catch a fish that day.
