Some Bunny Loves You with Lisa Blastick

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hi!   Welcome back to a new card for Cheery Lynn Designs for the upcoming Easter holiday! I was shopping yesterday with a girlfriend of mine and all we could think about was chocolate! So that was my inspiration for chocolate bunnies.
I love the adorable bunnies and the nesting eggs has a bunny die too. So everyone received one of my googly eyes. The tails have liquid appliqué. Just love how it looks. I added some pearls in the corners and a bow. The hearts went with the sentiment. I forgot how beautiful the dutch daisy tag was...need to bring it out more!

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a great day!

Love and Cherub by Julie Lavalette

3:30 AM 2 Comments

Hi Cheery Lynn Fans, it’s Julie here and today I am sharing some inspiration using one of our fabulous Mega Doilies. These Dies are fantastic for scrapbooking with but look equally as good using as accents on cards for a WOW factor and cut beautifully.

My card today measures approximately 8 x 6 inches and the border strip on my card is just over 2 inches. I mounted the same colour of cardstock to the inside and on my border strip which gives contrast and helps my Doily pop.

I cut into my paper using my heart Die. You can also use the heart border edge die to cut it out of the paper should you wish.

My flowers were shaped on my Embossing mat and shaded with Distress ink. I used small Pom Pom balls in the centres of my flowers which I coloured with Alcohol Ink to get my desired shade.

My sentiment was stamped onto my diecut adding a cherub which I made from a mould and paper clay.

Finishing off my card with lots of Pearl Accents.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Happy Crafting,

Hello! Sharing another Valentine card using Cheery Lynn Designs die cuts.
I have been making several heartwarming cards this year....just need to mail them all out now.

I first embossed with the embossing plate "petite hearts" Then I die cut a couple of "stitched rectangles" I added the beautiful "heart" and "sweetheart candy" on the sides. I wanted to add some beautiful doves from "birds from earth and sky" and lastly some "tiny fanciful flourish"

I added some pearls on the corners just to match the polka dot paper....The sketch was inspired by Verve as well as the sentiment....

Than again for stopping by today!

I Love You with Lisa Blastick

3:30 AM 0 Comments

Hello again! I'm sharing new card for the upcoming Valentine's Day holiday using lots of
Cheery Lynn Designs die cuts. I love the big heart in the center. I distressed the edges of the "Heart shaker" and added little pearls on the edges. The adorable "hearts" have a couple more choices of design. It's all in one set of die cuts.

My go to "french pastry" is a great doily to have in your collection, die cut it in green. I also love the "flourish #8" for the leaves. I die cut it out in green and colored the leaves with a darker copic marker. I added a sheer green ribbon to add a little extra something.

A closer view....

Thanks for stopping by today!
Hope you enjoyed!

Be Mine Card by Eva Dobilas

3:30 AM 3 Comments

Hi there, this is Eva and since Valentine's Day is around the corner I have a Valentine's Day card to share with you today.

To start creating this card I started out with cutting two Horizon French Flair Boutique Stacker Frames dies using white card stock.  Next I cut a square panel using a patterned paper and added it to my card base.  Next I used one the new dies called Quadrafoil Square Doily out of pink card stock and I cut a white square panel to back up my gorgeous doily to pop the design.

Next I die cut a gorgeous Ornament #9 out of white card stock and inked it up a little bit with green ink.  Then I die cut one of the smaller Two Of Hearts die using pink card stock and finally die cut Sweetheart Candy  and used them as my sentiment for my card.  Finally I added some half pearls on my corners.

Hope you like this card and here are the dies I used to create this card with:

Quadrafoil Square Doily - DL314

Horizon French Flair Boutique Stacker Frames - DL271

Ornament #9 - CABD-46

Thank you for stopping by hope you visit us soon again to see more pretty inspiration!

Thank you card by Eva Dobilas

3:30 AM 7 Comments

Hi there, this is Eva here today posting my first official post on the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog.  It brings me the joy to share a thank you card purely made with beautiful Cheery Lynn dies.  I can never create enough thank you cards as there is always so much to be thankful for.

I really enjoyed making this card with all the pretty dies.  To create my card I cut an A2 size card base using cream card stock.  I die cut the largest Deutschland Boutique Stacker out of Prima patterned paper, and layered it on top of the card front.

Than I die cut a smaller Deutschland Boutique Stacker out of another Prima patterned paper and cut off the edges to a rectangle to fit in the middle of the larger stacker and backed it up with red patterned paper, so it can show through the pretty doily stacker.

I die cut the larger heart out the Two of Hearts dies out of Prima patterned paper and also die cut the word Thank you out of gold foil card stock and layered it on top of the heart die.  Finally I die cut a butterfly using one of the Small Exotic Butterflies #2 and die cut it's wing to contrast with it and added an orange color pearl in the middle.

Daisy Heart Card

3:30 AM 2 Comments

Sandy, here with you today.  I have created a romantic card using my Horizon Square Boutique Stacker Frame.  I love the delicate edge of this die.  I began my card with a brown 5 3/4" square card base.  To this I added a peach DP panel 5 1/2" square and then the largest die from the boutique set die cut from brown card stock.  Using more DP, I added a 4 5/8" DP panel to the boutique panel. Next came the border panel created using my Lady Kate Edger and brown card stock and more DP.  Lots of layers on this card, now we come to the Heart to Heart Doily.  This is a great die as you get three lace hearts each with solid backers.  Lots of possible combinations with this die.  I used the middle die of the set and added the solid DP heart to the center.

Using my Shasta Daisy and Embellishments #3, I created 6 flowers.  This flower die is great as you get 3 sizes, 2 of each with just one pass through your die cut machine.  I curled the edges of the petals and pressed down on the center of the flowers to shape them.  Lastly I added some greenery using the Rose Leaf Strip and added some gem accents.

Love Tag

3:30 AM 4 Comments

Happy Tuesday everyone! leslierahye here sharing a valentine tag. I began by diecutting the snowflake mesh border out of acetate to use as a template. I spray-misted with opaque white over the top of kraft card to create the "texture" on the background. Next I stamped a grid pattern over the kraft tag and distressed and inked the edges with pink.]

For the ruffle on the bottom of the tag, I adhered a liquid glue to the back of the kraft tag and attached my crumpled Ankara Lace Border to the edge. A bit of Ankara Lace also peeks out of the side of the tag where the kraft  is ripped.

To finish off the tag, the snowflake doily was layered with the Two of Hearts and some scrolling bling. Love and You were cut and added to the bottom of the tag.
