The Great Storyboard Challenge

Lisa, over at Storyboard kits is currently having a sketch challenge running over at her blog. The winner will recieve a 3 month subscription to her monthly kits....so why not give it a go?
All you have to do, is create a page based on the sketch, and use one of the techniques listed that her DT has featured on the blog....easy, right?
So..on my page I used pinwheel and spiral flowers, and this is the end result..

Sar's Randon Kit Challenge

Who wouldn't want to win a free kit from Scrapbook Savvy? Every month, Sar sets a challenge, and the winner recieves a free kit for the following month to be a Guest Designer. Last Weekend..

I decided to complete a few pages just because. Sometimes I like to create without having any critera to meet.
This one is a photo from the Scrapbooking from Scratch Retreat last year... what a great weekend that was....

A little Vintage....

I have never tried a vintage layout before, but I thought I would give it a go! I have this old photo of my Dad from when he was a little boy so I thought why not? Im pretty happy with my first attempt....

Im a big fan of 'brights' on my layouts so this was something very different!

July Sketch at SFS

Hi Girls,
This month I decided to have a go at the sketch over at Scrapbooking from Scratch. I rotated the sketch to suit my photo. The challenge was to also use at least 3 different patterned papers, a handmade flower and some old alphas (I used some old black Making Memories ones that have been sitting in my stash for AGES!!)...So here it is

Bird is the Word

I recently asked the talented Krissy Christie how to make the rolled roses I had seen on her blog, and she did a tutorial for me- how lovely of her! So I gave them a go on a layout for my 52 week album.
