Snow day

It was the first snow of the year and Jeremiah really wanted a snowman. Unfortunately the snow was not coopertative and he had to settle for a minature version. Thanks goodness for baby carrots! He was quite pleased!

How to make "Cancapes"- by Naomi

First of all to make cancapes (pancakes to those unrefined) you must first put on what my brother calls a "maker" (apron). Since we only have two, Jeremiah was nice enough to get me a bib to improvise. Then daddy will hand you little spoons and scoops of white stuff and you dump them in the bowl. Then while daddy is cooking them on the griddle (please note butter dish in picture) and has his back turned to you very carefully stick your tongue in the butter without him noticing. Voila! Cancapes! Very delicious with sausage and eggy, my favorite!

Next stop...the living room.

Whenever I mop the floors I put the kitchen chairs in a line so that Jeremiah can play bus. He goes and gets stuffed animals for passengers. While I was downstairs I found that he had helped himself to the tupperware drawer because his bus needed some wheels! Pretty creative.

Polywogs

Jeremiah loves to go swimming and with his goggles on he spends more time underwater than above water. Of course Naomi has to have goggles too, and wore mommy's most of the time we were at the pool. I couldn't believe how long she kept them on since they totally do not fit her face well and looked very uncomfortable. Oh well, the price of being like brother I guess! The next day they found them at home and went "Swimming" in the living room.

Yesterday was Jeremiah's first day of Preschool. He was very excited to pack his backpack and go to school! When we got there they were taking pictures of the families on the first day. The teacher stepped out of the room for a minute and Jeremiah noticed some bible characters up on the wall. He exclaimed "Mom, they praise Jesus at this preschool!" He had a great time and didn't want to leave. He'll have to wait until next tuesday!

Adventures in Billings with Auntie Audge and Uncle Luke

The kids had a blast with Audrey and Luke while we were away in Georgia for the weekend. They had a bunch of fun at the fair but they were still glad to see us when we got back!

More fun at the park!

Nothings better than a day at the park in your pigtails!
