God's plans are SO much better than ours.

Ellison's baptism

Today was one of the biggest days that you look forward to

for your each of your children...

the day they decide to give their life to Christ!

Ellison has been asking for quite some time to be baptized.

But it seemed that the request was becoming much more frequent...

As a parent, you just want to make sure that they truly understand

what a big deal it is follow Jesus,

and what a privilege it is...

We are so proud of her decision

and cannot wait to see the work she does for the Lord!

She has such a tender little heart,

and is so good at serving others.

We've seen her just jump right in and love on orphans and widows...

I can't wait to see what else He has in store for her!

We know that God has big things ahead for Ellison!

Ella's sweet friend Mia...

they have been friends since they were born!

haha!!! real life moment!!! Beck would not smile for anything...his newest thing...

and me saying "we'll get you some caramella (candy), if you will smile for the camera !!!"

 This was my grocery run before Thanksgiving...

the one where you are trying to get everything to make for your meal....

it's not a quick shopping experience...

and he was throwing a fit over who knows what- before we even got in the store!

It's not all roses over here people!

Still the cutest, happiest little thing!

Beck is just doing so good!

It's amazing at how quick they pick up English.

Everyday it seems he will blurt out with a new phrase,

and I'm like - I can't believe he just said that...

like:

"I like this shirt" (for his "hook 'em shirt)

"watch out! Makina's are coming"

and loads of others that I can't think of right now!

He still loves cars and trucks of all kinds...

loves playing with the neighborhood kids outside...

He is doing great with school and is so happy when I pick him up.

He has now been to power kids and Bible class at church...

and did great!

He loves going to the gym with me...

We are totally in a routine and it's great!

Except the 3 year old messes he makes constantly!

I forgot all about those...

We are just coming up on being home for 4 months.

Our life must have been so boring before him!

He is such a joy and a blessing and keeps us all in stitches!

We just all look at each other often (even the kids and me) and just say...

he's so awesome...

We are so amazingly blessed by him.

Although sometimes we talk about how we could be a reality show.

Our kids are so crazy... and he just fits right in!

We ran into a friend at a store today...

all 3 kids were talking to me - at the same time...

Derek was picking up shoes that Beck was knocking off and picking up from display...

and she just goes, "y'all are exhausting me!"

lol!

It is exhausting!

in a good way!

I guess that's why I go to bed so much earlier than I ever did before he was here!

Thanksgiving 2012

Thanksgiving 2012...

I still cannot believe we have Mr. Beck in our family picture.

It seemed like so many holidays came and went...

and he was missing...

So happy he was here for his first Thanksgiving feast!

Just before we left to go to Derek's mom's house,

Derek was naming all the cousins that we were going to see...

(which we hadn't seen since halloween)...

and then Derek said, "now let's go get dressed to go"

and Beck said, "yo gabba gabba??"

bless his heart...

he thought we were going to see the cousins and get dressed in our costumes again

and go trick or treating and get calamella (candy). lol!

 what would Thanksgiving be without a little football?
