The Mighty Lemon Drops - Roller Coaster

Fans of Julian Cope and Echo & the Bunnymen rejoice. The Mighty Lemon Drops have managed to completely mesh their sounds into one. Like Gene did with the Smiths, Donovan to Dylan, The Monkeys to the Beatles and so on. Im not entirely sure if its a bad thing cuz I love Cope and McCulloch respectively. But, here it is, A best of collection that spans their 80's period (thank god) filled with jingly janglies that "ragga gagga ga" guitar effect repetitive beats and some dub-like bass lines. Its actually pretty enjoyable if you can get past the whole blatant ripoff thing.

you cant stop my heart from turning inside out.

Enjoy the acidic hysteria of "Bouncing Babies" and the scathing treatise on certain Scouser ex bandmates "The Culture Bunker" all in one sitting.

PS: Vampire Weekend sucks!
