That was the subject of the latest CJ to complete for the UKS Retailers circle, the focus being on fairytale and such like. Other entries included two dragons, angel, Santa and mermaids. I really struggled on this one, and you don't want to know how long it took me, but I finally got there.
I used Perfect Pearls on almost everything and it's very difficult to photograph as the colours keep changing. Here are some pictures from my entry, my only regret is that I didn't paint on the smooth side of the Bazzill for the unicorn.

Berry Sweet
Although I tend to lean towards the more mellow tones and distressed look I decided to have a play with the new K & Company Berry Sweet collection for some project ideas for the site. Here are three of the projects with seven more on the site here. I really love the fresh fruity colours of this collection.

Tagged again!
Lea has tagged me so I better do it now before I forget. I have to answer some questions and then pass the buck to five other people.
Here we go.
1. If a movie was being made of your life who would you like to be cast to play yourself? And why?
Sharon Stone for my norty moments, Jim Carey for my silly moments, Jack Dee for my depressive moments. Roll them all into one and there you have me in a nutshell.
2. You are spending a whole month on a desert island for charity and you have to choose your favourite celebrity to spend the first two weeks with & your least favourite celebrity to spend the second two weeks with, who would they be & why?
Fav would probably be someone like Tom Hanks. Why? I could have an intellectual conversation with him and he would lighten any glum moments. Least favourite would be Sarah Beeeny. Why? I don't like to be told what to do!
3. What are your three favourite crafting products?
Cardstock, Chipboard and brads/buttons
4. If you could invent something to do anything what do you think it would be?
A pill that would enable me to eat anything without putting on any weight, whilst at the same time keeping me fit and toned and my insides in tip top condition.
5. What are the last three books that you read?
Haven't had time to read in years! The last one was a door stopper on Artificial Intelligence, the other two were probably something similar.
6. Qvc or create & Craft?
Charmed Cards & Crafts!!
7. Docrafts or Dovecraft or DCWV?
DCWV
8. What is your claim to fame?
Getting the better of Sarah Beeny in Streets Ahead. I was signing autographs for months!
My chosen victims are:
Juliet
Karen
Caroline
Mellie
Debz

April Showers?
April snow showers more like! There we were all snug and warm and thinking Spring was well and truly here and then we awake to a white wonderland! I'm not complaining mind as it brought a huge smile to both of my girls' faces and I was dragged out of my warm and cosy bed at 7 o'clock this morning to behold this miracle. It is the first time I have seen snow on the blossoms on my Cherry Blossom tree. Wont last of course but it's fab whilst it's here. The flakes are large and soft and settling nicely at the moment.
Have you heard about the latest addition to Charmed? She is called Dottie and is available for download on our shopping site, Created by the ultra talented Louise Brigden she is soon to be joined by George, a proper little rascal who will melt your heart. Here's a creation by Lou featuring the lovely Dottie.
Isn't she adorable??
NEW GOODIES
Well the Basic Grey came in and so did half of my Queen & Co CHA order. The other half is coming Tuesday; why they couldn't send as one consignment I will never know, twice the handling fees etc - what a pain! Prima Marketing are taking their time and it hasn't even been shipped yet! I do hate waiting, I really do! Here's a taster of what's coming:

More CJ Entries
Once again I have been busy making entries for the UKS Retailers CJ2. The first one is "I want to be...."
The second one is "Dare to Dream"
Of course I haven't got the courage to be any of these things, and thus I never will be (hence the quote on the second page). The wording around the quote is "I want to grab life by the balls ... but I'm too much of a coward" - well, I do have my moments! Wording down the side of the second page reads "I know my limitations" - although sometimes quite frankly, I probably don't!
The second one is "Dare to Dream"
