Last Minute Inspiration

As the title suggests I have a little last minute inspiration for you, although I fully expect you to have created and sent out all your cards by now... but maybe not 😄

I used Kaisercraft papers for my cards here. Some uses our Mint Wishes kit (see the entire Mint Wishes collection), I will include a couple of pictures of the layouts you can also create with the kit.

For the first lot of cards I used a mixture of Christmas Editions and Letters to Santa. I love the splashes of red from Letters to Santa against the monochromes of Christmas Editions:

The papers on these two cards are from the Christmas Editions pad, with the die-cuts from theLetters to Santa Collectable pack.  I placed Father Christmas on foam tape for a three dimensional effect and added a little Glossy accents here and there.

The next two are again using papers from Christmas Editions pad and die-cuts from Letters to Santa.

 Also used are Kaisercraft's wood flourishes, red paper bows and pearls.

The next few cards uses papers from the Letters to Santa pad, as well as the collectables and wooden flourishes with lace ribbon. To achieve a vintage effect I distressed the edges on all of these shaped cards by sanding them down:

 

Finally here are cards created with Mint Wishes from Kaisercraft. These are all made with our November kit. You can see how to create these HERE.

Christmas Advent Wreath

A Time for a HIgh Tea ♥

It is a cold day here in London, and at only 16:45 completely dark outside. One thing that I cling on to is that it means it's Christmas soon. Always look on the bright side, and that is definitely the brightest of sides.

Our lovely Louise recently got married, and we wish her so much happiness with Brian. She looked absolutely beautiful on her big day, you can just see the happiness envelope them both. Louise created a lovely memory book to give to her mum and used the beautiful "High Tea" collection from Kaisercraft. Using "High Tea" Lou created  a beautiful album with lots of pictures for her mum to treasure, plus two frames and a card.  The projects used the following products:

I love Christmas. It's definitely the most wonderful time of the year. I love the sparkle, I love the traditional colours...but every once in a while a paper line just comes along that captures your imagination and makes you think twice about doing things the same old way. BoBunnys Merry and Bright was a bit like that for me.

Using Charmed's incredible Merry and Bright kit (sold out, individual elements still available) I was able to put together this cute but very simple mini book using some envelopes and a couple of book rings. Still have plenty of kit left for layouts...
