Initially i still planned to name it teletumby.tumblr.com, but it doesnt make sense to what i'm tumblr-ing about. Anywa, I'm still a newbie and in the processing of trying it out.

Slave Hunters? Slave House? 傻傻分不清楚

I was introduced by "Auntie Karu" to watched Slave Hunters, one of the famous Korean drama for year 2010. However, after watching for just the first episode, i could no longer continue. Not becoz i cried too much, but some of the parts were missing.

After some time of research, I end up watching a sort of Variety/Documentary show by the name of "Ghost Adventures". This show do interest me alot, but I seriously need more courage to continue watching. Anyway, this show is about 3 guys going around the states (US), investigating haunted locations. Then after a walkthrough or interview with peoples, the three men plan will begin to "locked down" the location by themselves for an overnight investigation.

The most interesting things of this show is the amazing equipments that they are using. They are all so high-tech and WOW. Some can even be use to communicate with "them". I shall not elaborate too much as I begin to have goosebumps liao~

See it for yourself, perhaps u guys out there are more brave than me?

Most Taxi Drivers are...

When most of us start to talk about 'Taxi Drivers', I believe spending 3 days and nights talking about them is purely not enough. You may get to meet some very nice drivers out there, but most of the time they are really testing our tolerance, patience and temper. I'm one of the "suay" one that meet "AP" taxi drivers again and again, even up till date. DAMN! Anyway, I shall list down the list of things that really irritate me ALOT!


1) Telling me about how hard it is to make a living now by driving the taxi. It wasnt that bad in the olden days.... bla bla bla. (momo: so what? are you trying to hint me that you want some tips from me?)

2) Keep talking none stop when i dun even sounds like i wanna continue the conversation with you. In the end, you forget to turn and need to go a wrong way. (I WANT YOU TO FOCUS ON DRIVING! NOT KEEP ON "ENTERTAINING" ME WITH UR BREAD AND BUTTER ISSUES.)

3) Complain about your partner that shares the cab with you. Keep scolding vulgar language in all your sentences. (momo: HELLO! Do i pay to listen to all ur vulgarities?! If you are not happy, CHANGE PARTNER LAH!)

4) Asking me for my personal opinions about the politics, but dun even want to hear things that are not to his "likings". (momo: if you are prepared for a different voice, DONT ASK IN THE FIRST PLACE!)

5) ACT BLUR!~ ACT VERY BLUR!~ ACT SOTONG!~ GOes a LONG LONG way to reach your destination.

6) Ask for your preferred route, then after you told him, he suggest another route & yet another route. In the end, the route that he suggested lead to traffic congestion. (momo: What is the problem with you?!!!)

7) Empty taxis ignoring passengers. (momo: If you are changing shift, going for your meals, CAN YOU PLEASE SWITCH THAT F*CKING LED LIGHT TO DISPLAY BUSY?!!!!)


Too many cases to mention. I shall stopped here le, damn tired after one whole day out and irritated by a taxi driver.

"The sudden wake up call!"

I'm not going to talk about paranormal activities... perhaps is more towards health issues? I dunno what to say~ But I'm sure the things that I'm going to tall about, do happens to some of you as well.

Have you ever wake up in the middle of your sleep, as if something just "shocked" your body, and your body seems like bounced up due to that force? I'm not sure what is the term to this, let's just call it... "The sudden wake up call!"

This morning, I was peacefully sound asleep, and was still dreaming about... i cant remember anyway. What happened was that, in the middle of my dream, something just strike my mind.

"YOU ARE GOING TO BE LATE FOR WORK!"

And becaues of this, i woke up in "terror" immediately, as if i'm a zombie that comes alive in split seconds, not taking any own sweet time. But after scanning around the surrondings, it was still a DARKNESS NIGHT, 2 hours to my alarm's screaming at the top of his voice.

I felt as if i'm one of the villagers in the childhood story of "狼来了！" And my brain is that kid, who's always yelling "the wolf is coming". My body have been cheated by my mind! Rrrrr Biggest Liar!

Anyway, it's not always this type of sentence that was broadcasted in Momo's body shopping centre. Sometimes they can be....

Went to the AMK polyclinic again for a follow up review on my ENLARGED liver issues. Pretty long isnt it? Well, partly because I requested for a Saturday appointment, or else, I would have know the outcome by End April. Erm.... even though I made the appointment, but I overslept and missed my appointment timing. Shucks~ it doesnt make any difference in the end, I still got to wait abit longer for my turn.

There is a big Huha while waiting to be "diagnose" (consultation time with the doc actually). My number was 2491, and allocated to Room 34, 35 or 40. At that particular moment, the whuver guy that went in was number 2287 (something like that). Looking around, there are at least 50 over people or even more, not forgetting those patients who have the priority to cut queue. (dun ask me why, I dunno why the system works this way).

45min later..... the queue is 231X. I'm starting to get impatient liao. The air condition is so cold, that i can feel like i'm falling sick. "Hugging" my liver, I'm waiting emo-ly for my turn to come. ::>_<:: another 30mins passed..... 2389~ ::>_<:: jiu ming ar!!!! and i started to stone. *ding dong*~ *ding dong* .... .... .... 2 4 9 1 ~ 2 4 9 1 ~ 2! 4! 9! 1! I'm still stone-ing, but heard someone calling out a particular number in a very loud voice. wait! 2491? Isnt that my number?! Immediately, I stand up to signal the "nurse" that I'm stand physically present (mentally not).


The nurse point to me my room number (room 40, which was just directly in front of me), I looked at the display board. Is really room 40, why suddenly jumped to my no? maybe they heard my silence cry. hurhur.

Walking towards the room, the charcoal nurse opened the door for me. GOSH! anohter charcoal doctor. Why do I always kannah charcoal doc? From employment medical check up till polyclinic medical checkup till consultation. ALL OR CHARCOALS. Damn sianzz half.

Charcoal Doc: WONG CXXX CXXXX JAMES?

momo: yes *make my way to the chair, and sat down*

Charcoal Doc: *click click* AH! he got it~

momo: O_O *is he talking to me?*

Charcoal Doc: Please go to Room 34

momo: HUH? *i'm puzzled! I have just came in, and throughout this whole 30sec or so, he didnt even look at me at all, and suddenly I'm directed to another room*

Charcoal Doc: Please go to Room 34 for the consultation *he still glued his eye on the screen*

And so... i make my way out. The nurse who called out my number is still at the door. I'm not very sure why did she stationed outside my room as well. But she is rather puzzled that i walked out within minute.

charcoal nurse: What happened?

momo: the doctor asked me to go to room 34 for consultation

charcoal nurse: Oh Oh! SHERRY! ASK HIM DON"T DROP THE CASE!

does she need to shout across the waiting hall? everyone at the waiting area shift their focus on me. I looked at the number display so as to shift my focus and wont feel that paiseh Guess WHAT?! my number is shown two times! in two differen ROOM.

So....? Two docs get hold of the "case" at the same time. Wow~ two docs snatch one patient. I felt rather honoured leh. Glad that they treasure me so much. LOL! Anyway, i quickly walked towards Room 34, where that nurse by the name of Sherry is waiting. She was talking to the doctor, all i could hear is "Mark~ he is back~ dun drop the case!" I'm still standing outside, and I didnt pay much attention to the Doctor's name that was shown outside the room. When I stepped in, i was greeted by a very masculine ang moh voice.

Mark: Hi! Are you James?

momo: Yes~ *WAH! Ang Mo leh... An Ang Mo in Ang Mo Kio plyclinic leh~ No more charcoal doc for me*

Anyway, had a conversation with the doc. According to him, I'm perfectly alright. Be it blood test results or de scan results. Really got to give that two charcoal doc one tight slap for telling me I have an enlarged liver. The ang mo doc said it was rather subjective whether the liver is enlarged anot. Some may find it a little enlarged, and some may not. Well~ He did ask something logical. "Are you really borned a Hep B carrier?" Well, that was what I know - I'm really is, since i went for checkup every year till the age of 12. Den they proclaim i'm immune to Hep B liao.

But the problem is, my mom didn't have hep B..... so where did i get that Hep B "virus" from? Needles that accidentally poke onto me???? or is it some mistakes on the hospital side? o_O

Xiao Long Bao's owner told me a hilarious joke just now. Though it seems damn funny to me, but it may not mean that you will LOL till ya roll on floor.

Denny just got back from lunch, and was on his way to the "office".

At the corridor, he came across some staffs from the other department, and they were all chatting and laughing loudly. But, this is not much of concerns to him (and perhaps to anyone), since the corridor is sort of a free zone to everyone.

Upon entering his room, he found that Tony's (his colleague who he shares the office with) eyes were staring at him.

Denny: *walking towards his own desk*

Tony: why is it so noisy outside? *initially with both ears on earpiece*

Denny: *without much thought, he replied in a serious looking face* 因为有人~

Tony: *silence..... shifted his focus back to his work*

LOL! I cant stop laughing.... Alright, i know it may sounds stupid to you. I'm not sure why am I laughing non stop. To me is that... this "因为有人" scenario is really damn funny!!! this is the joke of the month. U may not agree with me.... but To me is that, THUMBS UP to XLB's owner. WaAHAHAHAHA!

hours, days, weeks, months, years to be spend on designing system, developing system, and diminishing bugs seems to be part of my life for now. So i guess.... when works = life and life = work, that will be work life balance? hmmmm....

From the night of 7th may till the early morning of 8th may, I kept hearing "Pursuant to Section 49, Subsection 7E, Paragraph A of the Parliamentary Election Act...." This guy became the guy of the day, his name is seriously unique - Yah Ah Mee. At least there is still some jokes for the really nerve racking and damn frustrating hot weather day.




So... what is this chapter, section and thing of parliamentary act all about? according to my research in the elections webbie, it means...


(7E) When the total number of votes cast at polling stations in Singapore for each candidate or (as the case may be) group of candidates at an election in an electoral division is ascertained under subsection (7D), or if a recount thereof is allowed under section 49B, after that recount is completed, the Returning Officer shall immediately act as follows:

(a) where the total number of overseas electors lawfully entitled to vote at the election in that electoral division is less than the difference between the number of votes given to the candidates or (as the case may be) groups of candidates with the 2 greatest number of votes, the Returning Officer shall declare the candidate or (as the case may be) group of candidates to whom the greatest number of votes is given to be elected; or


(b) where the total number of overseas electors lawfully entitled to vote at the election in that electoral division is equal to or more than the difference between the number of votes given to the candidates or (as the case may be) groups of candidates with the 2 greatest number of votes, the Returning Officer shall declare the number of votes cast in Singapore in favour of each candidate or (as the case may be) group of candidates at the election, and the date and premises at which the votes cast by the overseas electors will be counted."

Back to the elections results, I'm pretty annoyed and disgusted by the fact that some useless people stays (ah mah, ah seng, vivi, and tin tin is still in the sacred house) and some just gets in so easily (for example that lady with her record breaking for unit-visiting: 36 seconds per unit during the election campaign). In a victory speech, Ah Seng said that ".... The garment has heard you...." FOR GOODNESS SAKE! TO ME IS THAT if we are being heard, then you should have heard how we DISLIKE tin tin (even up till now). So.....WHY IS SHE STILL THERE?!!! We!.... are not being heard again!

In the next five years, be prepared for more assets enhancement, transport fee revision, over budget million dollar activities, more escapees from "highly protected" camps, blaming the masters for being too "noisy", more foreign weird looking birds flock into our overcrowded land, etc....

If you have missed out the the released of GE results, you seriously missed out a lot of "fun". They were everywhere in FB, twitter, webbie, TV, radio, etc... Real time comments were posted continuously, ge results updated in the twitter, LIVE speeches video air on tv and webbie, and I joined in as well. THIS is a Singaporean thing you know?! It somehow concerns and affect our future for the next five years, be it good or bad.

Now, a big portion of NE region falls out of the ruling maid agency. In one day/night, we lost 3 impt tigers, recruited 5 new official "carpenters", enrolled some little useless kitties into the sacred chamber. Thanks to the GRC/SMC system?. Perhaps, the ruling maid "agency" should now revamp the whole system which may only work in the past era.



Endangered and fantastic tigers are being "killed", and little kitties are overly protected by some OLD and REPUTABLE "security systems" as if they were some national treasures. I seriously hate to see georgie left, but i'm glad that the "carpenters" gets in. Glad that i'm not in aljunied, this will be a very difficult vote for me to cast. We should not forgetting some good fights at other "regions" of our country, such as nicole, mr. and mrs chiam, etc. All of you have certainly made a difference in this GE.

From the breakdown of the results, it seems like the percentage voted for ruling maid agency has dropped! This is the time they seriously need to rethink about their plan, in order to secure our future TOGETHER!

My vote, Your vote, Our Votes...

This is what we had received after the nomination day, and this little white slip means a chance for you to "speak up" for yourself in the next five years. Besides the NRIC, I think this is also a good way to remind ourselves that "OH! I'm still in Singapore?! I thought this is a foreign land..."

For the past few days, most of our topics (be it among friends or colleagues) revolve around the rallies, that candidates, the rally videos, spoof videos/pictures, etc. I'm pretty sad for not able to participate in any of the rallies, but I'm still glad that I'm able to vote!!!


Anyway, I've made my vote this early noon. Initially, my mom decided that we should go early in the morning to cast our votes. But then, I suggested that we should not go down so early, because I heard a lot of people that they should go early in the morning, else there will be a crowd by the noon. Since most people are going in the morning, doesnt that mean Morning will have a bigger crowd instead? And my points is certainly correct, based on what my mom noticed from the polling "centre" directly under my void deck. Oh! and i have something to complain regarding to polling centre. Despite having a polling centre directly under my void deck, I'm required to vote in another polling centre which is a few blocks away. I certainly don't understand why do they have to do this to me. HELLO?! i'm just living directly above you!!! are you forcing me to pour water down to cool the damn warm weather??? Well, voters that came to vote at my block also find this situation rather weird and stupiak.

This noon, on our way to cast our votes, an auntie and her husband were at the carpark near our block. They asked my mom for directions to the polling centre which was DIRECTLY UNDER MY BLOCK. My mom told told her that they have reached liao, and also complain to them at the same time.

auntie: auntie ah, 请问那个投票的地方在哪里huh?
momo's mom: oh~ neh~ 你到 liao~ 在这边 lor~
auntie: 谢谢你hor
momo's mom: 不用。其实我就住在这座lor,但是我需要跑到另外一边去投票！
auntie: huh?! 这么奇怪的啊！你住楼上还要去到另外一座投啊?!
momo's mom: 就是lor~

Reaching the polling centre, getting the actual voting slip, casting of your own vote,.... the whole process took lesser than 3 minutes for me and my mom. Way too fast liao lor!!!! Buying 4d or Toto, which is about the same process, is even way longer than this. The only diff is that, someone called out your name, that's all. Well, during this "sacred" activity, I felt a bit of butterflies in the stomach though. Firstly, I'm still thinking which box to crossed out (though I have always said there is nothing to think about for my grc lol). Secondly, I'm afraid that i forget to do something (this is my first time hor, so a bit nervous eh!). Lastly, my voting corner is damn near to the walkway where every passer by can see what I do (so I scared got people peep at my vote lor, OUR VOTE IS SECRET!) Anyway, as a typical Singaporean, I always should never forget to do something. To spot any numbers that appeared on the slip itself! LOL!

That's all for now, I'm still waiting for the election results to be announce. To me, this is the most exciting election since our independence (for the people that are of my generations?). Who will be in? and who will be out? And what will happened after 7th May 2011?

Going Crazy

I feel like a plastic bag drifting in the strong wind, not knowing where it takes me, and not knowing where i'm going to land. I seriously dunno how to deal with the ever-changing requirements of client's "business" needs. One day, you know you are completed, and the next day you are back to square one again, as though nothing has happened previously.

Some of us (team members) are so mentally and physically exhausted. One forever get "scolded" by the client either through phone calls or emails treating us like slaves, one forever changing documents, one forever changing the system codings, and one forever doing testing again and again. We see no end in this project schedule, even Ihow is forever changing the schedule..... btw, and i not sure what he is stressed about. Everyday, I only heard about his complains on "Hai~ Not sure how to change the project schedule, change this also cannot, change that also cannot... To me is that...." -____-|||

For goodness sake, what is so difficult about the date? as long as the date is not over that final deadline can liao lor! all you need to do is change the day, the month and follow by the year. Where is that difficult part? In the end of the day, is still us who is doing all the things leh! you jsut have to ensure, by the final deadline, all the things are delivered to them. No wonder the client also despise him. tsk tsk tsk.

I'm feeling a bit of mentally and physically stressed out. Well, i may still be able to cope now, but i'm not sure about the next couple of weeks till end of may. this is really going crazy @_@
