THEN & NOW

I rather miss the days where corded phones are the main mode of communications between you and your friends… Why is that so?

THEN
Gatherings with your friends will be arranged a few days beforehand. People will be looking forward for that day as so much “efforts” are put in getting everyone together. You are waiting for the arrival of that day and not forgetting about those phone calls that remind you about the gathering.

NOW
You sent out dozen of SMS, hoping that someone will just be as free as you are. You are supposed to be happy as long as you receive replies regardless of “K…”, “Not free leh~”, “Got who huh?” etc. You should also be prepared that some of this SMS seems to get lost somehow. What happened? Cookie monster eat up the alphabets I guessed.

THEN
By any means, most will reach early or on time for a gathering that was arranged beforehand. All will wait at that very same spot until all have arrived.

NOW
15 to 30 min you will start to receive lots of SMS telling you “Hey! I’m still at home”, “I will be at a bit late”, “Oh gosh! Are we meeting at XXXXpm?” No matter what SMS you receive, you just hope no SMS will turn out to be “erm… think I’m not going anymore…”

Think we (including myself) are all pampered by the advancement of technology. What to do?

We just have to accept the fact.

Auld Lang Syne

有智慧的人不会执着于过去,并让自己如同坐牢,把自己关在记忆的囚牢中,拿现在与未来作为陪葬。

永别了!不快乐的过去~ "For auld lang syne, my dear, for auld lang syne, we'll drink a cup of kindness yet, for auld lang syne..."

Envy siah!

I did not know such birthday gift really exist...

  • A notebook stating 99 reasons why i love him/her, backed up with an example for each reason.
  • A notebook of all the smses he/she have sent me over the years. I relate particular incident for that sms and stated my thoughts at that time.

This is so sweet... 哇!!! 真是羡慕到...
