and so, it was a day at the zoo with shabs..
8 dec 2005.

the day started off warm and sunny.. birds, monkeys, and loads of plants.
really wonderful to see the many changes which have made the Singapore Zoological Gardens such a beautiful place.
and being with him made it all too good.


check it out. i met a really friendly tiger.. cute, aint it?

penguin!
the penguins there were so adorable! esp when they were swimming in the water..
during feeding time, all they seemed to be thinking of was only fish, and the zookeeper too.. haha so cute.


animals! oh man, so cute! ahahaha.
well, i think the otters were really silly.. whenever people looked in their direction, they'd start to squeak so loudly! as if they want us to feed them.. haha oh well.

in any case, there's just too much to mention should i retell my entire experience there.. so yeah.
had loads of fun! weeee~

back to the present.

i've caught the flu.
spent the entire afternoon in bed.
miss shabs, he's back from sailing..
poor fella.
christmas is coming!
im sure it'll be great.

bake day!
went over to raymond's place to bake cookies and make cheese cake with sy.
it was great fun.
the cookies tasted good too.
went over to shabs's place to surprise him with the cookies.
he liked it!

well, met up with gerri to visit daphne, cos her dad passed away..
gerri and i were kinda talking abt how the number of indians there seemed to be a lot more than in other districts.. cool.
haha please, we aint racist.. we just notice.
hmm, spent a few hours there before going back.

zoo!
met up with shabs to go to the zoo!
it was way cool.
havent been there in ages.
haha, while we were waiting for a cab, i was hoping to sit on the green ones. and sure enough, we had a green cab!
the place has changed so much. it looks a lot better than when i last went many years ago.. awesome!
the animals were so cute that i almost 'died'! hahahaha.
in any case, i had so much fun with shabs.

hmm, met up with a few others in the evening to celebrate josh's 16th!
yay!
pizza hut, loads of food, cake, and retarded but great fun.
it was good.

youth camp.
hmm, it was alright, but it felt more like a play/leisure camp rather than anything spiritual. seemed like it was more catered to the younger ones..
i should have expected that.
didnt really enjoy it as much as i hoped i would.
oh well.

confirmation! at st anthony's.
it was great to see people i know getting confirmed..
simply wonderful.
hmm, some of the youths there had attended a retreat prior to confirmation..
and there was just so much love between them..
i could feel it.
and honestly, i was envious.
i know that i wont be able to find such a loving community anytime soon.

had dinner with shabs and his mom at pizza hut..

nothing much has happened so far.

the camps have been great.
holy spirit cc2 retreat was different, yet wonderful.
youth camp's coming up,
hope it'll be good.
