On Saturday, February 20th The West Brothers participated in the Reed's Children's Spring Preview "Fashion Show". When I agreed to let them participate it came with a disclaimer - They may have a melt down. As you can imagine little boys have a mind of their own. They were paired with an older model to make sure they walked through the store. I am proud to report there were no major meltdowns and a few smiles!

No resolutions Just GOALS!
It's a new year! Wow.... It is already toward the end of January. We started off 2016 running. I have been thinking a lot lately about New Years Resolutions. Some years I set very specific ones and some years they are vague. No matter what they are I always seem to set myself up for failure. So this year is different!
Instead of "resolutions" I am setting "mini goals" that are attainable. I also plan to re-evaluate weekly or monthly to see if I set a realistic goal or just set myself up for failure again. Because everyone likes to win! The old saying goes ... you are your worst critic, so I want my critic to be proud. I hope everyone has a fulfilling and goal reaching 2016!
Here are just a few of the goals that are important to me this year:
1. Put me 1st. I don't meal it literally but I mean get enough rest, exercise, eat better (I love pasta and bread), and do something for me. It always seems that the things that I want to do for me are the last thing on the to do list. So I will make sure and put them 1st or 2nd so they get done (my time management skills went out the window when Ned joined our family).
2. Finish the projects I already started. I love a project but I noticed a few weeks ago that I have several unfinished projects. I love the feeling of accomplishment and seeing the end result.
3. Re Decorate the Master Bedroom! I can't wait.....
4. Create my sewing/craft nook in the laundry room. It will be tiny but it will be all mine!!!
