Dear Citizens of the World,
The day has finally come that our Internet Machine has stopped working. As a result, CHEMT_ will have to temporarily suspend all publications. It is regrettable that this crisis had to coincide with a time of global economic uncertainty, but we will strive to get back online soon so we can once more bring hope and awesomeness to our readership.

Happy Birthday Heather
Today is the day but I am working so we had the celebration yesterday. It was kind of a "surprise" party because everyone showed up at The Manor while Heather and I were at a Temple session. Jewel decorated her house, prepared a huge meal, and even baked a birthday cake. The Payne's couldn't make it but along with the Hardys, we also had Heather's parents, sister, and grandma. We ate a ton of food and ended off the night playing a couple games of mafia. Heather seemed to think that I had done something thoughtful, but the truth is Jewel was that one that really went above and beyond.
I slept in a little this morning because we drove home so late, but when I came downstairs I was pleased to see that Heather is even prettier now than she was at 30. And it's the ninth year in a row I have seen that happen...

Ella's Big Day
Yesterday morning was Ella's baptism. We arrived at the church a little bit early and watched as family members began to arrive. Ella is lucky to have grandparents and uncles and aunts and cousins that all took the time to be there for her special day. Ella was so excited for her baptism and the program was really nice. Aunt Crystal gave the baptism talk and I realized that it was OK that Tanis backed out of it. (She claimed it was because she was sick but I didn't see her throw up the whole time she was here).
Heather was commenting just this morning about how it "feels" different now that Ella is baptized. Maybe because it is a reminder that one of our kids are already eight years old, maybe because there is now another member of the church living in our house.
Here is a picture of Ella, her mom, her grandma, and her great grandma. Four generations of righteous women.
Mackenzie and Mayna are our only cousins on Heather's side of the family. It was awesome that they were able to come up as well and we were disappointed when I couldn't convince Mayna that they wanted to sleep over at our house. Here is a picture of the kids with their other great grandma.
Since the camera was already out, we got a picture of the four of us. As you can see, Jewel is picking on her brother again.
And we have grown from just the four of us, to the 20 of us - with a couple more on the way. Every member of this family is important and we are so thankful for all of them.
And right now we are especially thankful for our little girl and her willingness to follow the Savior's example. Great job Ella!
