We are having a baby!

Christmas Day

And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.  Isaiah 9:6

Christmas was wonderful and everything we could have hoped for.  We are thankful.

This was a Christmas of baby dolls and a few fun toys for our girl....she loves them all (we love her).

God has been so faithful.  Doesn't she look awesome?!

I can hardly believe next week is Thanksgiving!  Fall is in fact flying by.  Life in the Cunningham household has been good lately.  We are SO thankful mom is doing so well.  I have to admit I pinch myself sometimes at how well she is doing post transplant.  I loved bringing her home from the hospital last Friday....what a great day.  She is doing remarkably well...again, so thankful.  Luci has missed her Gaga and Pop so much.  She talks about them all the time and prays for her "boo boo" multiple times a day.  We can't wait until the day she and Pop come all the way home!  It was awesome to be able to bring her to mom's room.  Obviously, my parents loved it...good medicine for us all! 

Luci continues to be such a joy to us.  Every day I am reminded at what a miracle she is.  We waited and prayed for her and to be her mom and dad is pure bliss.  She is a spitfire but we wouldn't want it any other way.  Her laugh is contagious and her smile warms my heart. 

School for Chad slowed down a few weeks and it was nice to spend a little more time as a family.  He really enjoys school and is super excited to head to Africa in a few months.  Luci and I are looking forward to spring....not sure what we will do with all that extra time :) 

 

We are looking forward to next week and spending time with our loved ones!  Can't wait :)

Blogging has taken a back seat to life and I'm ok with that.  We've been having some wonderful family time lately and for that I am thankful.

We enjoyed every last second of summer and are gearing up for what fall will hold for our family.  A couple weeks ago a dear friend spend the morning taking pics of our extended family.  I just love them and each person in them.  It was a really special weekend.

We are getting so close to mom's stay on the east side and are dealing with all the emotions that come with that......

But, for now, we are soaking up each day together and are full of HOPE.

Go gently through this day, leaning on Me and enjoying My Presence.  Look to Me and My sufficiency; rejoice in My radiant riches that are abundantly available to help you.

Luci loves animals so I was excited to take her to the Critter Barn so she could see them up close and hold them/swat them :)  My friend Jacki and I took our littles and we decided we have to go back.
