Its Been far too long!

Just wanted to try starting this back up as an effort of journaling our family's life. So after 11 years, here we go :) We now live in Southern Utah! Wasn't sure if we would ever leave Idaho, though that was the initial plan from the beginning for us both. So here we are in Hurricane, Utah where Chad will be teaching Seminary at Hurricane High School. Staci is super excited about warmer temperatures and we are all excited to be closer to family and new adventures in a new place!
Weston is now 16, will be a junior in High School,  and is on the Hurricane High School golf team, hopeful of making the basketball team and is working at Sand Hollow Resort. Analee is 14, a Freshman, and is planning to play basketball for Hurricane Middle School, still loves dance and gymnastics, and is working part time doing a little housekeeping and even some social media recruiting!  Kallista is 12, going into 7th grade and will attend Hurricane Intermediate School where she will continue her bi-lingual pursuits with the Spanish language immersion program.  She loves dance and hopes to continue taking dance with a studio here.  Gwen is 10 and going into 5th grade at Hurricane Elementary and is a part of the Spanish Langauge Immersion program.  She also still enjoys dance and is hopeful of pursuing that more as we are here.  Lydia is 8 and will be in the 3rd grade, also at the Hurricane Elementary and a part of the Spanish Language Immersion program.  She is excited to get baptized in September and about doing just about anything and everything. She is really happy she is closer to grandparents!  Tessa is almost 4 and is the perfect glue if you will, to our family.  She is everyone's favorite and is always wanting everyone to be happy and to know that she loves them!  She loves dinosaurs, dragons and sharks :)

We Love Our Family!

I know I am doing post after post, but there has been so many exciting things going on I just can't help myself. Anyways, both of our families live 10 hours away in opposite directions, so it is way exciting when they come to see us. The last two weeks we've been able to spend time with Chad's parents and my mom. The kids especially love it.

Happy Birthday Girls!

Analee Renae turned 3 years old on March 25th. Kallista Marie turned 1 on March 28th. Chad and I got home late the 25th, so we celebrated their birthdays together on the 26th. I wonder if we will always do that? Anyways, thank goodness they are not old enough to fully understand birthdays. Analee was just so excited to go to a play place, have cake and icecream, and open presents. How glorious!

Vegas Baby!

Okay, so I know you are thinking "what did you do in Vegas?" Well, all I can say is what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. No,J/K! Really there are a lot of things to do besides gamble. We went for 3 days and went to 3 shows, the Ethel Chocolate Factory, up the Stratosphere, The Eiffel Tower, to the shops, etc. and there was a lot more we could have done. Most importantly I got to spend time with my hunny (w/o the kids). It was very beneficial. I highly suggest it for everyone. It reminded me of when we fell in love and it really was an investment in our marriage. I tend to be a cheap and think that we don't need to spend money on things like this (I guess that is why we went to Vegas, you can get a room for $20 a night), but I'm glad I didn't let those feelings get in the way. My father and mother-in-law,and brother-in-law came and stayed with our kids while we were gone. That was so nice! Here's a few pic's of our fun!
I know I am always putting slideshows on here. There are just too many pictures that I just can't leave out. This one is of various pictures of the kids. Most of them are from Valentine's day. As you know, it has been a long time since I have posted anything. Life just seemed to get busier after Christmas. Sorry!

We have a blog!

Thanks to Heidi Moser, we now have a blog! I don't know exactly what I'm doing, but hopefully I'll get there. I've already erased some posts, which I don't know how I did. I was just trying to add to them. Oh well! I was looking at other peoples blogs and I thought how neat they all were. Just like Heidi said in our first post that I somehow deleted "What a neat way to let family and friends know what we are up to!"
