New Bedroom!!
I am in love with my new room! Ever since I have been working, Chace gave me permission to spoil myself with a bedroom set. We have never bought any new bedroom furniture, so it was so exciting to me!! Now that I have a clean slate to work with, I was able to paint my room green (my fav color), and use all the crafts I've made and pictures for the walls. I LOVE it! I just lay in there on the bed whenever I can. Here it is...

Job
I got a job!! It is with Fresenius Medical Care and I will be doing Dialysis in San Carlos! The job application process was NOT fun. I sent out probably 30 applications and only heard from the Nursing home and the Dialysis center. Well, mostly just the nursing home because they told me first that there was an opening at the Dialysis so I hurried to get all my paperwork in, then when I got it in they told me there really wasn't an opening. Awesome.. So I got an interview with the nursing home and had pretty much settled on getting the job as long as the interview went well. Later on in the week, my friend Jenn Stowell who works at Dialysis called me and said that her manager asked about me and said they could use me in San Carlos!! YAY I was so excited. Tabitha called and I had an interview with her and Marleah at the office. They sounded pretty confident that I had the job and I felt SOOO good about it during the whole interview. It was more of a conversation than an interview. THEN, I had to have another interview with the lady that is over them so she could approve of me.. That stressed me out a little bit. I cannot answer questions like I wish I could. Anyways, I got a call on friday from the nursing home saying I got the job and I had to say that I was waiting on another job and I would let her know as soon as possible. Not long after, I got the next interview call and approval and I accepted the Dialysis job. I felt bad having to say no to the nursing home, but I guess thats just how it goes.
Training starts August 8th and it's in Tempe. 10 wks longs!! I think that is good though. I'd much rather train than hop right into the job. I will get paid to travel, eat and a hotel. I'm extremely excited to make money so we can have a savings (and so I can buy some of the things we need "or that I want")
As for now, I'm trying to get as much done as possible at our new home before I get too busy. We moved into Tanner and Karyn's double wide (which is super nice). While Erline's house is being built, she moved into her 5th wheel, Garrett and Angela moved into Tanner and Karyn's 5th wheel and they moved into Erline's house so we moved into their trailer. Crazy right?? I LOVE being in the trailer so far. Even though we downgraded from the huge yard/house/shop/garage that we were renting, I like it a whole lot more being able to have my own space with my own stuff and own decorations. It's nice and I've had some fun. I will post some pictures soon, we have to take everything down to paint then put it all back together. LOTS of work, but a great change.

NURSE!
Well, I still can't really believe it, but I passed the NCLEX exam and I am now officially an RN! Here are some of my feelings on the exam:
1. WAAAAY too long (265 questions for me while tons of people only get 75! Not fair. It was depressing sitting in the testing center and seeing everyone leave after an hour and I was still in there for 4 and 1/2 more hours!! AHH I was miserable!)
2. SOOOOOO hard. I really did believe others when they said it was going to be hard, but I didn't think it would be worse than the HESI. It was. (to me). All the questions were all about prioritizing and analyzing and crazy drugs I had never heard of. YUCK. Sick to my stomach just thinking about it.
3. They need to be quicker on results. I thought I was going to have a heart attack, stroke, anxiety attack, panic attack, all of thee above while I was waiting. I feel bad because everyone around me felt bad for me because they could feel how stressed I was and it make them worried. I need to shout out to my mom. She took me out to eat and shop after and I was like a zombie. She's so great.
4. Now something good about it.... well nothing except for the fact that I am now an RN and will be able to get a job and earn more money!!

Cruisin'!!!
Cabo San Lucas
Jet Skiing was so much fun! Well, at least it was for me and Chace. Ryan ran into Cristina and Becky and cracked their ski which was a 250 dollar fine. Sarah got fined and didn't even crack hers. They fought it for a while but the dudes wouldn't give in.
Iguanas!!
The famous beaches in Cabo are Lover's beach and Pelican beach. We took a little boat and got to walk around the beach to see all the cool caves and beautiful scenery. It was so pretty. We loved it there. We were told that it is only once every 5-6 years that you can walk under the arch on lover's beach and we happened to be there at that time. Pretty neat!!

Deep Sea Fishing in Cabo
Day 2 we went out on a boat to fish and within 10 minutes they saw marlin jumping and cast out 2 lines. Both hooked. JT reeled in the first and all the boys worked on the 2nd for a LOOOOng time. About 4 hours into it, the line got caught around the nose and snapped. It was a bummer because the Mexican fishers said it was the biggest one they had seen all year and that is was probably 400 lbs. It kept getting close to the boat, then it would get come energy and swim out. We battle with it and lost, but it was still pretty cool, Except for everyone getting sick from the crazy choppy water. It was pretty rough.
Ya baby! Check out marlin #1!!
The boys took turns reeling in the marlin. Here's Chace before he turned yellow and puked his guts out!

Puerto Vallarta
The excursion we took in Puerto Vallarta was super fun. We took a bus up into the mountains and geared up to go on 12 different zip lines. It was more cool and exciting than scary. We had a blast! Glad none of us fell off...
After we we got to the bottom of the zip lines, we rode burros back up to where we started
After the excursion we went to a famous Italian restaurant that one of Jathen's buddies told him to check out. It was AWeSOME!! Almost as good as the margarita pizza in Italy.. but nothing will ever beat that.
