NUH Emergency department,

Woo hoo~~~
Friday is here.....................

Been quite free on job recently, I reach office about 10am almost everyday, instead of 9am in the past. Haha..cannot blame me wor... i had not much work to do ma.. haha..thus I had ample times to think about certain issues in life.

I had a very good chat about study, work, relationship, family, living a healthy lifestyle and XXXX with Untie Mary a few days back... Maybe she's right. Sometimes, being too nice is not a good thing always. I should learn to be talk less...

I really thank God for her...for being there to listen to my same topics repeatedly...though I also find myself kinda troublesome these days, she's still so patient and even goes the extra mile to inspire me to think out of the box or rather go beyond the horizon.

Despite the fact that I had rejected all the offers, I still reminisce fondly about the life of being a student, a good one. Sooner or later, I will go and furthur my studies. Remember, I really love studying. To me, it's not about how much you can earn in the future, or how successful one can become, it's all about growing up as a person and having a complete life the way I want it to be. Even though it may still fail in the end, but who cares, most importantly, I have tried my very best, and thus no regret. I know many people who care for me feel kinda pity for me. Buy hey.... Don't misinterpret it. I am not giving it up...I am just defering it to a few years later. And I belive I can do it even better with the years come the wisdom and experience. God is always there for me.

Recently, I have again re-touched my hand on the book by one of my favourite authors, Elizabeth Edwards. The book is called "Too Soon Old, Too Late Smart". Yap, it's an old one, but sometimes, the older ones is always the better ones. It's my 3rd time reading it. This book is especially powerful to me at this period of time by giving me lots of inspirations in many aspects of my life. "We are not what say, We are what we do! "

The whole message in this book is telling people that it is never too late to move beyond any loss, misfortunate and regret that we all experience, and what we can, in fact, be the person we yearn to be.

So what's yours? Be the person you want to be, try harder and harder...

Recently, many people have succeeded in getting it...
I am still waiting...
The most difficult part is the long wait...cos there is nothing you can do, but to wait and wait until the day comes which one has no idea when it will come...
So all I can do is to keep on waiting and waiting until the day comes...
Will it be a good one???? or........???
I will cry a river if it turns out to be the worse one.

IT'S GONNA BE EXACTLY 3 MONTHS AT THE END OF THIS MONTH.
WHEN IS MY TURN FOR THE ASSURANCE?????????????????????

I had a super full supper......... it's impossible for me to fall asleep now...

And so, I went online and find out the recent news between Dasmond Koh and Felicia Chin.

Many people were commenting about the topic.. And as a outsider(I am neither the fan of Dasmond, nor Felicia), I find this topic kinda interesting.

Here, I would like to say, it's all my personal opinion...theirs fans, please do not be offended..

Firstly, it's so obvious that she did some plastic surgeries on her face...(I am not sure of her body cos I did not pay any attention to her body in the past, but now??? YES)

Secondly, there is nothing to be sad over this matter. If she really did, then be gracious and admit it. People will just admire her more and more for her honesty. If she has never ever did it, then just be cool and say "NO". There is nothing to be sad for... i really don't see the point. In fact, she's so famous and her career is so promising now...The company gives her so many chances in showbiz, though I have to say, her hosting skill really cannot make it.. but who cares if she did it or not, she IS famous.

Frankly speaking, I also considering of doing a plastic surgery on my face recently. My eyebag makes me look very tired 365 days in a year. I even checked out some websites from Taiwan, and I realized I should also try BOTOX. MY goodness, if i am rich enough, i don't mind doing a nose job, a cheek job too... hahhahaha...but.............i have no money la.........

Thirdly, I think Dasmond was just making a joke or finding the reporter very nuisance and wanted to stop the interview...... lol..............

Last but not the least, to me, she's prettier and prettier than me, but not pretty. She's innocent by 自拍 and act cute. And not sure if anyone got notice how she walks or not, it actually reminds me of XXXXXXXX.

Again, I had a great weekend..although it was always busy rushing from place to place...hahha..

Let me do a quick update of what i did for the past weekend, hopefully i can remember as much as possible...

Attended Michelle's division award presentation party on Friday evening after work. It was really fun and captivating. I gained a better understanding of the business now. By the time it ends, it was already past 10pm. Went back home and did some house works.

New refrigerator is delivered on Sat afternoon. Cool. In the evening, YS, NS, SS, ML, me and some other friends went to Singapore national stadium at Kallang to attend a performance by a group of Media Corp artists. Host was Michelle Chong and Guo Liang. Other performance artists include Rui En, Jeff Wang Jian Fu, Gurmit Singh, Shi Xing Hui and etc... Rui En is damn cool man... haha, and I really admire her a lot. And Gurmit is a funny and SMART guy.. As for Shi Xin Hui, she's very short but sings damn well. Her voice is powerful and unambiguous.

The performance was nice and I really enjoyed every moment of it. And Miss Yiing See was damn high... haha, in fact, all of us were screaming, laughing, dancing and singing all the way..hoohooo.. Had Subway for dinner with the group. Took lots of photos...but too lazy to upload..oops, i have accumulated many albums yet to be uploaded... should find a time to do so soon...

We went to Geylang for food after the performance... it was around 1130pm, but still very crowded... The food was nice, so does the companion...

Attended service on Sun morning...follow by a 2 hours workout at Danz Studio at Orchard... Again, i had aerobics and fit ball.. I perspired like mad..but felt damn shiok.. My tummy and leg have no or little strength..need to improve on that.. For aerobics wise, i could follow all the steps much better and easier than the first time... I love aerobics...

Went for shopping at orchard with Janice afterward, bought a sport shoe.. nice and cheap...hoho..

Bought some grocery at the supermarket...cook for myself later...ermmm, not very nice...but it's the effort that counts..

Watched Fated to Love You(命中注定我愛你) on you tube...nice drama..

Work has been bored.... no other comment...

不是因为寂寞才想你 ♥ 12:29 PM

遇上一個人,只需一分鐘;喜歡一個人,只需一刻鐘;
愛上一個人,只需一小時;但要忘了一個人,卻要一生。

放棄一個很愛你的人,並不痛苦;
放棄一個你很愛的人,那才痛苦;

As I was browsing through the intensive web content, i came into contact with the following article which I think it really inspire me to learn more and go further, at the same time, this article provides many essential lessons for the prospective entrepreneurs. Personally, I gained a better or more insightful knowledge after reading it. Prepare a cup of coffee or tea and get enjoy reading.

Looking to start a business, get a degree or learn Michael Jackson's "Thriller" dance? The Web has a class, video or tutorial to help you do it. Here's where to get started.

How to Learn Anything on the Web // Doris Day in the movie "Teacher's Pet" (Image courtesy of PC World)
A tutorial or class for almost everything and anything is available online these days. Whether you're looking to beef up your résumé with some new skills, to get a degree while waiting for the job market to pick up, or simply to have a little fun learning something new, the Web has a wealth of educational resources -- many of them free.

To give you some ideas, we've put together a list of sites in several categories, from skills for budding entrepreneurs and learning foreign languages to gourmet cooking and the choreography for Michael Jackson's iconic "Thriller" dance.
You can always Google for anything you don't see here, but be careful as you click. In researching this story, I ran into many sites that either tried to sell me classes (with little or no real free instruction) or were infested with pop-ups and adware. Anti-malware software is a must. (See PC World's free downloads of anti-malware programs.)

Get a business up and running

How to Learn Anything on the Web // B-Plans.com (Image courtesy of PC World)
So you have a business in mind? Start with a business plan that outlines the specifics of how you intend to make money -- essential for attracting investors and useful for your own reality checks. BPlans.com, run by PaloAlto Software (creators of Business Plan Pro software) offers dozens of articles, sample plans and templates to help you get going. This is one of the few sites that, while it does market a product (you need its software to edit a sample plan and use it for your own enterprise), delivers a slew of genuinely useful content for free. (And you can always simply re-create the sample plan using Word and Excel.)

Once you've launched your business, you'll have to keep financial records. But even if you use software such as Quickbooks, it's a good idea to understand how basic accounting works. Small-business consultant Dave Marshall's Bean Counter site features free tutorials on basic business accounting and bookkeeping.

And because so many aspects of business require presentation skills, it's useful to have a working knowledge of Microsoft's PowerPoint. About.com's Presentation Software site provides a Beginner's Guide to PowerPoint that gathers 11 tutorials to get you going.

Your business will need a Web site, too. You can pay someone a lot of money to create it, but if you would like to dig into the complexities of modern Web design, LearnWebDesignOnline.com is a good place to start, with links to tutorials, videos and books on all aspects of site creation. Another resource is SiteGround, a Web hosting company that provides an impressive tutorials page for learning about both Web hosting in general and a wide array of specific applications for content management and site creation (WordPress, Dreamweaver and the like).
If you're interested in putting together a news site, J-Learning.org provides guidance on everything from blogging tools and multimedia creation to search-engine optimization (SEO) and legal issues -- all for free.

To help bring visitors to your site, you'll need to learn the basics of SEO. Search consultants SEOmoz's free Beginner's Guide is a good place to start.

Improve your tech skills
OK, time out for a little self-promotion. For general hardware upgrades, setup instruction and software tips, look no farther than PC World's own How-To page. Organized by category, there's an amazing wealth of guidance (in print, video and slide shows) for everything from swapping out a PC's processor to getting Microsoft Office to work better.

How to Learn Anything on the Web // Lynda.com (Image courtesy of PC World)
However, for professional in-depth training in specific applications, Lynda.com has established itself as the go-to place, with thousands of videos and tutorial files for hundreds of applications. It's not free, but if you're serious about learning a complicated application, its subscription-based fees are a good value. (Read PC World's recent review of Lynda.com.)

Have you ever wanted to explore the mysteries of computer programming? You can find a slew of programming tutorials online, but I like British programmer Alan Gauld's Learning to Program, an online version of a book he's written. It's not particularly slick, but he writes clearly and accessibly, and he uses Python, which experts tell me is a good programming language to start with.

Formal education
How to Learn Anything on the Web // Sloan-C Catalog (Image courtesy of PC World)
The Internet has turned distance learning into a reality: Today, you can get all sorts of degrees and professional certificates through online courses. But not all online learning institutions are created equal. To avoid scams, start your search for Web-based higher education at The Sloan Consortium's Sloan-C Catalog. It's a list of degree and certificate programs offered by regionally accredited institutions that have become consortium members (either because they've received grant support from the respected Alfred P. Sloan Foundation or through a peer-review process). You can search by discipline, type of degree or certificate, state, or institution name.

If you or someone you know wants to earn a GED (General Educational Development) credential (the equivalent of a high-school diploma), learn about the process from the organization that administers the GDE program, The American Council on Education. You can't take the test online, but dozens of sites offer to prep you -- and many of them look pretty sleazy, so I'd stick with the council's links to practice tests and educational resources.

How to Learn Anything on the Web // YouTube EDU (Image courtesy of PC World)
If you don't care about getting a degree and simply want to broaden your horizons, head over to YouTube EDU, a very cool YouTube subsite devoted to videos of interviews, courses and lectures from professors at top colleges and universities. Some are mostly course promos (such as Carnegie Mellon physics professor Barry Luokkala's description of his Science and Science Fiction course) but some have real content (such as this MIT course on creating compilers).

Learn a foreign language
It's easy to find sites that sell foreign-language instruction online. But here are some neat ones that don't charge for instruction and also offer audio clips:

How to Learn Anything on the Web // Chinese-Tools.com (Image courtesy of PC World)
Chinese (Mandarin): Chinese-Tools.com, the English-language version of a site run by a native French speaker who has lived in China for six years, is a fantastic resource. It not only has audio clips (crucial since Chinese depends on tone and inflection as well as simple pronunciation), but also calligraphy instruction.

French: About.com's French Language site provides lessons for beginners as well as interesting extras including sections on idiomatic expressions and typical Gallic gestures.

Italian: Oggi e Domani (which means "today and tomorrow" in Italian) focuses on conversations in its lesson-based approach.

Russian: I found a couple of sites that seem to be duking it out for supremacy in free online Russian-language instruction: Russian Lessons.net and Learning Russian.net. Of the two, Learning Russian.net looks slicker, but Russian Lessons.net appears to have more resources.
Spanish: 123TeachMe offers Spanish lessons for beginners, advanced students and tourists (conversational Spanish).

Life skills
How to Learn Anything on the Web // WikiHow.com (Image courtesy of PC World)
Some things you just can't learn in traditional classrooms. Real Simple has tons of how-tos for around-the house skills -- I like the Daily Quick-Cleaning Checklist, which promises to get your pad presentable in less than half an hour. For the truly domestically challenged, WikiHow has a page on how to make your bed.

EmilyPost.com, the Web home of the Emily Post Institute, does get a little heavy-handed on selling books by the late doyenne of good manners and her descendants, but there are lots of free articles that provide advice on specific etiquette dilemmas.

And if you're looking to make dinner with whatever's in your refrigerator, simply enter the ingredients into the search fields of FoodNetwork.com, Epicurious or RecipeSource (formerly SOAR, or the Searchable Online Archive of Recipes). For really great how-tos (not to mention recipes and juried product and equipment ratings), consider investing $35 a year (less if you subscribe in print, too) in the online version of Cook's Illustrated, the ad-free Consumer Reports of cooking.

Need help with your finances? Motley Fool is one of the oldest and best sites to learn about investing and personal finance (and its discussion boards are great, too). If you're looking ahead to retirement, the Labor Department's Consumer Information on Retirement page answers a lot of questions on private pensions, 401(k) accounts and the like.

Have some fun
How to Learn Anything on the Web // ChessDryad.com (Image courtesy of PC World)
Learn to play a game: ChessDryad.com's How to Play Chess page will get you from learning the mechanics of the game to classic moves, with primers and flash animations. Veteran bridge author Richard Pavlicek has put his Bridge Basics textbook online for people wishing to learn the popular card game. For neophyte poker players, Charles Bloom has put up a Texas Hold'em primer.

How to Learn Anything on the Web // "Eslowoski's" YouTube video on skateboarding (Image courtesy of PC World)
For sports (or anything else highly physical and visual), you can't beat YouTube: For example, I found dozens of skateboarding how-tos, but the one I actually thought I could learn from was this unpolished but accessible effort credited to one "Eswolowski" and posted by a user named tevens22.

However, not all sports stuff is on YouTube. Aspiring soccer moms and pops should check out How to Play Soccer, which not only teaches the rules of the game, but offers tips for parents who serve as coaches or spectators.

Showbiz stuff
Aspiring musicians, dancers and filmmakers can also find instruction online. SoYouWanna.com offers a guide for making low-budget movies.

Like to sing along in perfect harmony? ChoralWiki maintains a database of free choral sheet music. If your garage band needs help figuring out the guitar solo in Dire Straits' "Sultans of Swing," head to 911tabs, a very nifty search engine for tablatures (musical annotations showing fingerings for specific pop and rock songs). You can search by song and by instrument.

Again, YouTube shines when it comes to teaching a musical instrument. But perhaps the coolest YouTube how-to project for the performing arts is Inez Markeljevic's 40-video tutorial for learning the dance of the zombies in Michael Jackson's classic "Thriller" video.

Created in hopes of setting a world record for the most people performing the dance simultaneously around the world (see Markeljevic's site, Thrill The World, for more on this), the video tutorials break the song into sections and then into steps with mnemonic aids to remind you of what you should be doing. I'm already up to section 3!

Something's on my mind, and i simply can't get rid of it any time soon...

I asked myself again and again... the same question..

where was I yesterday??
where am I right now???
and where will i go tomorrow???
or rather where will my future be like???

I know I have to do something... something adventurous, something significant...those somethings that can make my life a completely new one..

You know what, it's not for me, myself and I... it's gonna be for the loved ones that I care and cherish deeply.

God, you know how far I have came. You know me from the inside out. Oh God, lead me and guide to where I want to be tomorrow.

It's a long weekend ♥ 10:35 PM

Had a real fruitful weekend plus P.H.
I can't remember all the crazy yet fun things i did over the past 3 days, but i really enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks guys for being there as my buddies or sisters. Love ya!!

I received my courier on friday, nonono, i didn't cos i wasn't at home. I called up and the person asked me to call again on the next day. The first thing i did when i woke up on Sat was making the call.. The person picked up my call and told me that they will deliver it to me before noon. A few minutes later, a lady called me saying that they can't make it on that day. I requested her to resend it to my work place on Tues, BUT she said need extra 8 bucks for the change of address. Ridiculous!!! So i asked her to fix a time for me so that i can wait for the courier at home....and she told me t wait from 9am to 12noon...Excuse me!!! I no need to work le isit??? I was furious cos the service is damn sucks... even SingPost allowed me to change address for collection w/o any further charge... and they are able to fix a time by me.... why can't you???????? Shit service... I was shouting at her... as i was very agitated by the kind of service she provides... what kind of service is that??????????????? She couldn't handle me anymore and said will arrange with the driver and get back to me again...

The more I think, the angrier I became... after consideration, i told them i will go down to collect myself... and the place is damn ulu one,,, i couldn't take bus to the place at all cos there isn't any. So i took a cab from Eunos, which luckily didn't charge me alot.. While finding a way back, i think I got lost.... I waited for cab, but none....in sight..damn... i walked from road 1 to road 3,,,still no cab in sight, i just kept walking until i don't know where i was... finally saw a bus stop.... but all the buses from that bus stop goes to other ulu places... damn... and i kept walking under the sun,,, my shirt was wet as i perspired too much.. damn... thank God, i saw another bus stop which helped me to get to the Kembagan MRT station..Thank God so much!!

Reached Danz Studio at around 1330pm, wanted to settle the bank matter as mum's request..damn, i mistaken the closing time...the bank was closed long ago before I reached.

Had my lunch, then prepared for fitness dance classes.. The work out almost killed me, but it was damn shiok... i think i enjoyed every minute of the 2 lessons i had on that day.

Met the fellow church mates and attended Polydin's service after the lessons...Polydins people damn high one...lol. Left after the phraise and worship section with Pris..

Reached home, and mum called minutes later... Love mum....she's the cutest mum in the world i think.

The next day, which is 44th Birthday of Singapore! Allow me to say something mushy...yeap...i think I am seriously in love with this Lion City, although you guys are leaving it for a better future. But who will doubt the beauty and the peace which this lion gives???

You know something, I think I was like a half dead fish on National Day due to the excessive work out I did on Sat. My whole ached like crazy, yes, whole, not partially,,,to be exact, from foot to neck except my head.. It's been a long while since I exercise...

Met up with Serene for lunch at Yam Cha Restaurant...love the dim sum, though not the best I ever tasted. I guess it's the accompany that matters. We headed to Vivo for Coffee Bean after dim sum. I finally bought a new refrigerator..at a super worth price because of National Day...phraise Lord!! Serene wanted to get a notebook at Best Denki...but i asked her to reconsider...cos i tot it was unnecessary for her...anyway, I guess she will be getting it sooner or later..

Reached home and went through the countless facebook emails.. lol... Realized that Adrian, my intern accompany for the first 3 months got married recently... woohoo!!! Never invite me lor... not happy... hahha, lol, we are not really close after all.. Jas, i really wanna encourage her to go further and further.. cos I know she can... Jia You!!!

And now, i am going to go the extra mile for myself and my future.. God, walk with me always...never leave me alone... i need your love, courage, strength and wisdom every now and then.. I will walk the way you paved out for me... I will work harder and harder to bring you shine and glory.. Amen...

unconsciously FAT ♥ 11:21 AM

Damn Damn Damn...

I was so devastated last night to realize that I have put on so much weight for the past few months.. I couldn't imagine this. ARghhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. Totally cannot believe or take it... Until this moment, I am still in the state of devastation. Oh nooooooooooooooooooo

Just before I went to bed last night, i took out the weighing machine in my room which I havn't touch it for a long while... I stood on it. To my dismay, i saw both the pointers stop at 2 positions.. and i couldn't help but screamed uncontrollably... I knew I am fatter than ever, but how can be those 2 numbers?????

Okay, Janice has told me to control myself when it comes to food. It's no wonder not a surprise to her when i told her how heavy I am now...

Shittttttttttttttttt!!!!! I have to do something about this.... so people, do not always take me to eating places when we catch up next time..............................

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Okay, enough grumbles of my weight...

Recently, other than going through the tough time to decide where to move on, I also have a list of things want to learn and improve.

Firstly of all, I will be starting my dance class tomorrow. Hope i can learn as much as I can and pick up the moves as quick as possible. For this purpose, I promise I will wear my contact lens again. Haha, i have been very reluctant to wear contact lens, although my eyesight is getting worse. I could hardly see the number of bus approaching at the bus stop. But for dance class purpose I am going to wear contact lens more often.

Next, I am also going over to Pink Room academy to find out more about the nail art courses they offer tomorrow. Hopefully, I can find something useful to me as I prepare for some greater purposes in life. At the same time, pray that the course price will be cheaper...

As for my further education, Jas asks me to go over to USA first before deciding Australia or USA. Talking about Jas, I have to scold her for a while... how can she play that kind of joke to me??? she login to her boyfriend's msn account, impersonates as him and started chatting with me... No wonder i sense some changes in him from the msn exchanges we had..I mean he wasn;t such a rude and stinge person.I nearly blocked and deleted his account from my MSN... Only when i said I have nothing to say le, then she says it's her, not her boyfriend...and she's just playing around...Even DR was laughing when he knew how furious I became. LOL....

Work is bored nowadays... Ever since finishing testing phrase, there seems to have very little workload... Pay day is near...hohoho..

Okay, enough words..I shall stop here..bye~~~
