Thursday was MEP concert at Esplanade. I initially signed up for it because I wanted to play in an orchestra again, and I was thinking it would be like the super awesome 06 concert where they played Smetana's Mouldau and Yellow River concerto.

But Ravel's Mother Goose suite was.. um boring D: I enjoyed playing for the VJC concert more actually, because at least they had more powerful pieces (with more notes -.-) where you don't have to hold a single note for like 40 bars?

Mm but as with any concert and experience, I think the best takeaway would be the friends and company. Actually I didn't really talk a lot to the people in my section, but at least it is nice to know that we did play together as a section before.

I guess today was quite a memorable day (:

We had SYF presentation at Esplanade recital studio today. It’s the first time I’m playing there, and the venue is quite comfy I guess. The rehearsal schedule ran super duper late and all these while we were just playing bridge in the dressing rooms. But there were times where I got sian and went to the 2nd violin room to practise cello and spam random pieces and concertos with yiyang. Haha fun :D

Actually there were like 3 dressing rooms, 1 for mugging, 1 for sleeping and 1 for playing bridge haha xD I was tempted to mug, but I realized that I can never mug properly anywhere else in the world other than my own exclusive table in my bedroom. But there were quite a lot of muggers haha, like shanin, shihui and xing he! (Y) And I’m quite surprised that ying er spent all her time playing bridge with us instead of mugging haha. I guess she wants to spend her last day with chamber more socially instead of mugging haha (:

SYF presentation marks the last time our dear J2 seniors (and yinger D: ) will be playing together with us in Chamber. Well I’ll definitely miss all of you all! Especially my dear cello seniors. All the best in all your future endeavours, especially prelims and A-levels!

And I lost my camera!! D: Well for 2 hours at least. Apparently I dropped it at the basement lobby of Esplanade, but a group of kind souls picked it up and passed it to Peikhee and Nic Hsien. I don’t know who these kind souls are, but really THANK YOU! Hurray for all the kind souls in the world! :D

Yay CTs are over!!

Music
I felt like crap after the music paper ended. Wtheck i even forgot what is a tetrachord, my tetrachord was totally wrong. Then i wrote minor 3rd instead of diminished 3rd and i used that term for all the questions after that. OMG DIE!! T_T i just hope that they have E.C.F for music like physics >.<

And my two 10-mark essays are like seriously rubbish, no time = anyhow write. Then at the last minute I suddenly thought of points to write but then time's up liao -.-

Chem
Like how Laiweng described her math paper, chem was 惨不忍睹 omg T.T i left the entire 10 marks on experimental design blank because that day I we had SYF and I so 巧 missed that prac lesson on experimental design. Then plus got time trouble and got 1001 questions i anyhow tikamed, i'm quite sure i'm going to fail or get a borderline pass T_T

Feeling like crap degree: 9/10 (better than music because at least I have a few CERTAIN answers, music was just omg.. T_T)

Math
Okay lah, not that bad. But I left like 10 marks blank and through all the irritating post-exam discussions I know that I have like another 20 marks gone already T.T But it was much better compared to chem i guess

Feeling like crap degree: 8/10

Physics
I did something I shouldn't have done.. stayed over midnight to study (AHEM SHANIN!)

Then in the morning when I woke up, I forgot to pack 2 important things:
1) My wallet -.-
2) My jacket

And the MPH was like freezing!!! >.< I couldn't even hold my pen properly at the end and my brain froze too. I left quite a lot of questions blank and tikamed even more (as usual)

But the paper was still quite manageable, and I felt good about being able to fill in the definitions which I mugged for =) so

Chinese Listening Compre

Finally a subject that I can boast at haha. It's going to be 10/10 okay! =D 9/10 still acceptable, anything below I'm going to be super disappointed
