I'm posting like once a month now.. but who cares.. cos no one is reading.
This year has been a bad year.. well most of the stuff are bad anyway. Almost everything has dropped. My GPA, my test results.. basically all the academic stuff.
But there's always some good in everything, like the fact that my rubik's cube timing has dropped, my cello fees has dropped by $10.
Speaking of the cello, this year hasn't been so bad after all.
Got my first solo recital during MEP high scorer's concert in october, then the same in mesmeRISE 2007 in November. I can feel my cello technical skills improving, but i still hate it when my teacher does corny stuff when i'm playing the cello such as sticking another bow in the right f-hole so that i'm forced to play near the bridge. Damn, i hate that ponticello sound.
reSERVed has been okay, credit goes to the choir. Now that sec 4s have left, the juniors are left struggling there. Dunno how to look up at conductor, dunno how to come in together, and basically they dunno why trevor sze was shouting at the whole ensem after the concert. Anyway, there's still the pro-ded sec 3s this year who will rise up to be sec 4 seniors and safe the day.
I'm probably going to try and join YO soon, but most probably i'll end up in TO first. Speaking of YO, you should have attended their concert on 29th Nov. Look at the overall effect of the stage from the circle. The left side (upper strings) is like 90% black (cos the females wear black gowns) and the right side is like 90% white (again cos the guys where white jackets). The entire perimeter desk of the first violins were gals, while the perimter players of the cellos were all boys except for jon shin's ex gf melissa.
Ok.. i'm probably not going to blog again this month so i shall set my resolutions first.
1. Get into YO
2. Get a distinction for grade 8 cello
3. Get A1 for O-level chinese
4. Get a 3.7 GPA
5. Go below 20sec for 2 hand rubik's
6. Go below 30sec for 1 hand rubik's
7. Own Arts at the Atrium performance. (I've already decided to do with Bryan, but I sure hope its pwnage)
8. Complete my piano dip atcl.
