No Barriers

I seldom get the chance to talk to my friends and keep them up-to-date with what's going on with my life... well, this is it. My online journal. Yah, another personal blog, just exactly what the world needs now. Let's be realistic, it's cheaper than overseas calls. Less tiring than novel-like emails.

Yes. Si. Ja. Oo
So, that's how it feels... :)

I woke up today thinking that it's just like any other day. Office. Home. These days Jp picks me up from our house and takes me to the office... and from the office back home. So, when he texted me today that he'll pick me up, I didn't feel anything unusual. We stopped by the Handyman store in Robinson's Pioneer (mall right beside the office) to buy something for their car and headed straight to the parking lot after that. While in the parking lot, I was just being my usual self - talking non-stop about how my day went, asking him why he's phone is always either off or low batt - until out of nowhere he popped the question and I saw this small black box in front of me. My reaction -- I was stunned. My first words - "Nde nga? Seryoso ka?" [Are you sure? Seriously?]. We left Pioneer after that... we were already in Ortigas when I realized that I never answered the question. :) I simply said.. "Yes, Hon" with a big smile on my face.

I was definitely caught off guard when he popped the question. Of course, I have always wanted something like this to happen and I know we'd still be waiting for quite some time before we take the plunge. Maybe I just didn't anticipate that it will be on this day -- as I thought it is just a normal day. Well, NOT ANYMORE! :)

Pre-Valentines Double Date
It's been almost a month since we last attempted to go to Enchanted Kingdom... and now it finally came true!

"Everyday, everyday, everyday the magic is here..." :) That's the opening line of the EK theme song, and I guess there's some truth to the song.. going to theme parks is somehow magical - because for one day - you can be like a kid, and just enjoy the rides. I had a FUN day today - screaming my lungs out when we plunged in the Jungle Log Jam, trying hard not to get wet in the Rio Grande Rapids, enjoying the sights from the wheel of fate, racing as fast I could in the Kart Trak and feeling my heart skip in the Anchor's away.
