No Barriers

I seldom get the chance to talk to my friends and keep them up-to-date with what's going on with my life... well, this is it. My online journal. Yah, another personal blog, just exactly what the world needs now. Let's be realistic, it's cheaper than overseas calls. Less tiring than novel-like emails.

Post-project roll-off side effects
Here's my list of Top 10 signs that you still have your previous projects' effects in your system: (Fill *** with the name of your project)

10 - Your are still wearing the *** Id Lace.

09 - You still have your teammates' picture from the alliance in your desk or white board

08 - You have the *** 10 year token displayed in your office space.

07 - Your contacts in YM are grouped as "<name of college/university>", "<name of current project>", "ex-***"

06 - When you see you previous projectmates/teammates, you never forget to ask about how your previous projectmates are and where they are now.

05 - You miss the emails telling you that you have an email in your company email. (Don't tell me you already forgot about that -- we are soo absorbed on our *** mail that sometimes already forget to even check if we have email our company's mail.)

04 - You can't help but compare the your current project with the *** project, as well as the people you are working with...

03 - Whenever you see a Nokia 6600, you think it's sooo outdated and think of it as a support phone.

02 - You still not used seeing the sun when you go out of the office. You sometimes feel guilty that you are leaving early even if you have already put in 8hrs of work. Translation: No more (or you no longer have a lot of) meetings/calls at night.

01 - When prompted by your workstation's log on screen, you still type "NAI****"

If you are guilty of or agree that you practice --

All 10 items -- What the?!? And why are you still in Manila? Hehehe...

6-9 items -- Congratulations! It's already been a month or two and you're still not over ***. You deserve a *** loyalty award. Don't worry you are not alone, I know a lot of people who falls in this category.

5 and below -- You move on or let go of things pretty fast. Or you just got rolled in for less than 3 months. :) Hahaha..

Already awake
It has been the third time this has happened. Not that I am making a big fuss out of it... but I am soo curious why I have been having dreams about being with someone I should not even think of -- I mean like more as a friend. He's a thing of the past and I am sure that everything is over between us.

Everytime I have these weird dreams, I always share it with my boyfriend ... and as expected, he would tease me about it. He says that maybe there is still something
I could not admit to myself about that person. We both try to analyze what it means, and sometimes discussions about it would take us back to how things ended for me
and that other person. It makes us appreciate more what has happened in the past and reminisce how things started between us.

I do believe that things happen for a reason -- things may not have worked between me and other people, but one thing is for sure, had I not met them and experienced love and the pain of falling out of it, I don't think I'd be able to love Jp the same way I do right now. :)
