Though it's been quite some time but I guess I still need to write this out =)
My first time going Australia!!!
Although my very first preference was not Perth, I am satisfied. It's all because of your accompany =) Thanks to SIA by offering such a great deal so that I could finally fly to Australia!!!!
A lot of research has been done prior the trip for detailed itinerary and I got to say that I really put a lot of effort in it. all because of my dear... as I always like to have the most memorable and sweet memories with him... =)
On the 23 Aug, we took a midnight flight so that we could start our holidays there without wasting time =p
Mr Kim was freaked out by the 2 degree Celsius while we landed Perth. Hahahaha....
Then Zibing came to the airport and fetch us to dear YiHorng's place. A very big thank to both of them who be our driver and most importantly spared the little room for us =D
After settling down, we started our journey at the city center, studying the city map and heading to our first point of interest - King's Park.
Poor us walking along the streets, trying to figure out which direction to go for a free bus to King's Park and while we finally got there, we were already sweating (in the winter). LOL...
It was a really nice and huge park! with lot's of colourful little flowers, lot's of people jogging, picnic and hangout on the greenish grass... It was sooo huge that it took us nearly 3 hours to walk-rest-walk-sleep-walk-climb-walk....Hahahaha... After lunch at the city, we headed to Northbridge to get the best Apple Strudel in town.
Both me and Kim has not slept well for the night on flight. =(
so we ended up nearly worn out by 3pm... After lunch at the city, we took a train to Bull Creek and returned to home... fell asleep immediately =.=
Yihorng and his girl PJ came back from work in the evening and took us to Little Caesars for very yummy pizzas! There we met their other friends and had a good time with them. =) Among all, I love the strawberry dessert pizza the most! awhh.... wish to have it again =p
Then they brought us to the south Perth for beautiful night scene... awh.. very sweet couple right ;)
The second day was the best for me! Horng took us to Rottness Island with his other two friends from KL, Tiffany and her brother. We had a very good time on the island, cycling, taking pictures, looking and playing with Quoka... and I really enjoyed the ocean breeze and very very nice beach, clear water and scenes... It was like the best place for people to relax and enjoy the nature! The cycling part was awesome! Never been cycling for such a long day and I really like it.
Then we had another tourists-must-go makan place, Ciao Italia for great Italian dinner. With no disappointment, we had the best tiramisu ever =D
However, that day was the coldest day ever. Strong wind in the morning and at night near the coast, I near got frozen even though I had my scarf with me.
Third day was at first planned for sandboarding. However, due to some cost-efficient consideration... We switched our plan to go shopping with Janis. We went Harbour Town for cheap branded outlet stuffs and went to the Queen's Garden for chill and rest. Guess it's the nature and authentic life style found in Perth... hahaha.... After dinner at the Chilliz, we took a train back home for a rest.
Thursday was a shopping day as well. We walked around the CBD area and went to the Swan Bell early in the morning. Nothing much was done but we just enjoyed the slow tempo of life...
Friday is the start of weekend. We took a bus to the Fremantle Port.

Went to the Maritime Muzuem and visited a submarine in a tour. It was pretty interesting and cool for the tour. The round house has nothing much as there were no cannon show during the time we visited. =(
Lunch time we had the famous seafood in Fremantle.
Fresh oyster, tiger prawns, grilled scallop and passion food cheesecake were great and lovely. =) We then went to search for the famous weekend market but eventually, we failed. =( Thus we went to the Fremantle Prison for a tour instead.
Saturday was Yihorng's dayoff. Hence, he and PJ drove us to the Whiteman Park and went to visit the cute cute koala bears and kangaroos. They were all around us and we then ended our morning at Caversham after the farm show.
Then we headed to the Swan Valley for Elma's fine dining. The pork shank was really good and juicy! Love the dining environment there. =)
Next was Margaret River Chocolate Factory. Free chocolate tasting was the main reason for us there! hahahah... Well, of course it's best to get some souvenirs back home ;)
There were lots and lots of Vineyard along the Swan Valley. However, with the limited time, we could only get to Lancaster for free wine tasting and got back 3 dessert red wine happily =)
At night, we had German fine dining again at Char Char Bull with Horng and some new friends. Great wine, great steak, with great sticky date pudding! =p
Sunday morning we went to the Perth Mint and Harbour Town again for more shopping and meet up Zibing. Then we finally found the Market Place in Fremantle and again, had oysters and fish & chips from Kailis =) Night time Horng brought us to Jus Burger and San Churro for very very chocolaty dessert that ended our makan trip in Perth. The night scene at the King's Park was quite nice also before we driving back home...
Time flies when you dont want it to... It comes to the final day of the Perth trip. My dear wanted to get souvenirs and thus we head down to the city again for last shopping before coming back home =) There it goes for our 8D8N Perth Holiday.... Really like that place for the peacefulness.
