Today we went to the Superstition Dairy Farm for a tour of the farm. We saw chickens, rabbits, turkeys, goats, horses, sheep, dogs and most importantly the COWS! We learned all about them and saw over 3 thousand Holstein cows. While we were on the hayride we saw the maternity ward for the cows and one of the cows was giving birth and we also saw a brand new baby cow only minutes old! It was the sweetest thing! The Farm gets 5 baby cows per day. When the tour was over we got to feed and pet the animals and try the cow's milk. They had over 12 different kinds of flavored milk, we ate cheese and ice cream that was delichhh!
We started the tour in the class room, where we learned all about the cows.
