FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

So glad that the first day of school is back! I am so excited for Cotter to see his friends and I am sooooo excited/sad for QJ to start kindergarten. What happened? When did my kids grow up? No, When did I get old enough to have kidS in school. School started on my birthday this year which is a first. I wanted so badly to have a birthday in school when I was younger, but it never happened...until now. Which I have to admit was the perfect Birthday present ;)

Swim Team

We have made swimming our Summer this year. I don't remember a day yet that hasn't been spent at some point in the pool. So might as well make it a little competitive :) We have sooo loved it. I love watching Cotter and Quinci at their swim meets. QJ is so sweet in the water. She gives it her all every time, and every time I start to panic for her and start to wonder if she is swimming or just struggling she swims to the end, gets out of the water and smiles at me. It makes my day to see her swim. she has come sooo far to, she used to come in last every time and now she is in the relay for her age group. Cotter was a natural and has only gotten better. Dane taught cotter how to swim like an Iron man and that is exactly his attitude at his swim meets. he has also made the relay this week for his age group :)

Knottsberrie Farm

We started our summer out right and went to Knottsberrie farm the day after school let out. We had soooo much fun! I love spending time with these guys!!!

BEEEEAAAAAACH

We went Blueberry picking while in California at Sherwood family farms and ate the most delicious blueberries I have ever tasted!!!

Mesa High Preschool Grads

All Stars

Cotter was invited to play All Stars Baseball, these were his friends from the mets who played with him. It was such a good experience for him and it really pushed him to do his best. He was a champ!!! Dane and I were such the proud parents.

Happy Easter

Kember is always inviting us over to do fun things with the kids and we went over to their house to dye eggs for easter. It was so much fun and it hillarious to see the kids with their Shrek fingers afterwards :)

My boys VS. nature

Fathers and sons was this weekend for my boys. I laughed because Cotter and Cruz are the best of friends but have total different takes on Camping. Cotter embraces nature, he loves to be in the wild with dirt and loves getting dirty while Cruz doesn't quite get his enthusiasm. Cruz wanted to stay in the truck and play games on Danes phone while Cotter was crawling through bushes because he was chasing squirrels. Cruz had a blast though! Anytime with Dad is always a bonus for these guys, I love that they have each other.

Cotter's 7th Birthday Bash

Cotter is 7! We had such a fun party with some of his Mets buddies. We went bowling then we went to The boys Baseball game. it was a fun night and I'm realizing how fun it is to have older kids. Cotter was so proud of his 101 bowl and even more proud of his triple he hit that night at the game. He is such a little man! My aunt made this amazing Mario cake as well...she is amazing to:
