Fun Times

The past couple weeks have flown by! We have had a lot of things going on. We headed up north a couple weeks ago so that Carl could attend a continuing education class on Monday. The kids and I ended up staying the whole week so that we could watch my little sister Hayley try out for Drillteam. She did such a great job...and she MADE it!! I am so excited for her, and I am excited to watch the competitions! (Thanks Kara for the pics!)

While we were up there, we went to Bodie's birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese. Maibel came with Mac and I to the party! It was fun watching the kids play. McKay thought the dog in the Chuck-E-Cheese band was the best! He kept waving to him, and saying, "Hi dog!"

We also got to go to the open house of the Draper temple. It was so beautiful. We went to Jason and JaNae's house after and had lunch! Thanks Nae for planning it all! It was so fun being with family!

On Thursday, Riley asked us if we wanted to watch her sister Cassie go skydiving!! I was so nervous for her! She made it up and back down just fine....so that was a good thing!! The kids had fun watching the airplanes, and watching them with the parachutes!

This weekend Phil, Jenny and the kids came to St. George to camp. We headed up to Zion's with them on Saturday and hiked around! Zion's is such an amazing place. There were a lot of people up there....little did we know.... there was a St. Patrick's Day celebration!! I am so glad that we got to see them, and go to Zion's....even if we did see a SNAKE!!! All in all....we had a great couple of weeks!

The Kiddos

Lately I have been looking at my kids, and realizing that they both are growing up SOOO fast! McKay is two, going on ten and Ella is almost one!! Their personalities are so different, and it is just so much fun to watch them learn and grow!

McKay is my little wild man. He is on a kick where he says to me a hundred times a day,"Hi mom, what doing?" or "Hi mom, How doing?" He is talking so much. He has his own little language, but I can understand most of it! McKay LOVES his dad so much. When Carl is around, no one else can help him do anything! The other day Carl was holding McKay, and McKay looked at him and said, "I NOT a baby, Dad"! He is a crack up!

Ella is our little princess! She is pretty easy going and laid back! She is crawling all over the place. She likes to crawl into little spaces! She will crawl into the end tables and under the table. She is really quiet and kind of sneaky! When she cries it is still really high pitch though!! Ella thinks that McKay is the funniest person ever! He can get her to laugh more than anyone else!

AND....Her hair finally fits into a little pony tail!

I LOVE THESE KIDDOS!!!
