McKay's Birthday!

I can't believe that my little boy is a year old!! This year has flown by... It kind of makes me sad how fast it went! We had so much fun up north with our families. McKay is such a lucky little boy, because he has so many people that love him so much. We had a little party for him at Grandma Sug's on Friday night, and he made the haul!! He got sunglasses from Doug and Stasha, and he thought he was the coolest kid around!! He got to dig into a cake, and wasn't shy at all... it was so funny! On Sunday we had another party in Nephi with my family! He again... got so many great gifts! He got the chance to dig into another cake, and actually put his head straight down on to it!! He is the best little boy, and he has so much SPUNK!! I love him so much, and I am so grateful to be his mom! Happy Birthday buddy.

McKay LOVES his dad! Seriously, when Carl is around... I pretty much don't exist! I get a little jealous some times, but I really love the fact that he is a daddy's boy. Carl really is the best dad ever. I am really lucky because Carl is really hands on, and helps so much with McKay! I think that Carl loves the fact that he is the favorite!! I hope McKay grows up to be just like him!

McKay's Dang Shoes!

So, most of you know that McKay HATES wearing shoes, especially on his left foot. He kicks them off right after I put them on, and it drives me bonkers. Well, the other day I couldn't find his right shoe, so I headed to Payless (his foot is to wide to fit in any other shoe besides payless!!) to get him another pair of shoes. The girl at the counter asked me if I wanted her to measure his foot, and I said no thanks. Well, I was trying shoes on him, and she came walking by and said, "His foot looks bigger than a four, are you sure you don't want me to measure his foot"? I said okay, yeah let's measure it. Well, sure enough... His foot was a 5 1/2!!! My poor child has been wearing a size 4.... No wonder he kicks the dang things off!

10 years ago: I was a senior in high school, and I was so ready to be out!! :)

5 things on my to-do list today: Do laundry,vaccuum my house go shopping at the outlets with Riley, get packed for Las Vegas tomorrow, and call my in-laws!!! Very Exciting!

Snacks I enjoy: Um.. Most of you know that I LOVE snacks, but here are a few that I eat pretty much everyday! Baked Doritos, smarties, licorice, diet dr. pepper, carmels (I have been addicted lately), and really anything else with sugar. I am a candy freak!

What if I were suddenly a billionaire: I would pay off our debt, and then pay off all of our families debts.... Then I would help random people. I think it would be so much fun!

3 bad habits: I eat way to much candy, I am horrible at calling people first and calling them back, and I worry way to much about stupid things!

5 jobs I have had: I taught tumbling for five years, worked at a gas station for three, worked at sizzler for three years, worked as a receptionist and now I am a mom!!!

5 places I have lived: Nephi, UT, Orem, UT, Brussels, Belguim, The Woodlands, TX and St. George, UT

5 things people don't know about me: I was addicted to candy corn for seven years, I took piano lessons for six years (but I can't play at all), I shave my legs everyday, I LOVE the Utah Jazz and I have never been skiing or snowboarding!

Our Prophet

I feel like I need to express how much I will miss President Hinckley. He has been the prophet that I have known, and I have learned so much from him. He has done so many wonderful things for the church, and people of other faith's as well. I am grateful for his Christ like example to EVERYONE! I am sure his reunion in heaven was glorious. We will miss him.

Everyone should watch this clip.....I love this!! The quote at the beginning brought me to tears. How lucky we are that we were able to learn from and follow such a wonderful man.
