We did it. We experienced Disneyland with our very own child. And it was everything I had hoped for and more.
I'm not even kidding when I say the trip was perfect. Everything about it was perfect. Hayden gave the reactions we were hoping to see when visiting the happiest place on earth. The company was perfect (Gma McCain treated us and Heather and her boys came for a couple of days to give us good quality cousin time for Hayden). The weather was hot and humid, but I'm not angry about it. At all.
My biggest fear was that Hayden wouldn't want to do anything but be held and whine, but she was a total champ. Even if we had to wait in line for over an hour to meet princesses or ride something, she never complained. And me being pregnant had me worried that I wouldn't feel well walking around for 10 hours a day in the sun, but except for 1 headache that went away with a little R&R, I was fine! PER-FEC-TION. So, thank you, Gma McCain for taking us on a truly magical adventure with our first born. We absolutely LOVED every minute of it.
