My Dilema

To cut or not to cut?

Hayden has a pretty sweet mullet.
That being said, I have never had Hayden's hair cut, so I am wondering if the time has come to get rid of said mullet and relieve Hayden of any humiliation she feels because of this wicked hair style. Allow me:

Exhibit A
Exhibit Band Exhibit C
One might say, "Oh it isn't so bad, leave the poor girl alone." But believe me, these pictures don't do justice to the greatness that is Hayden's hair.

So, I'm thinking about cutting it but then I get worried that I won't be able to do cute little piggies with it, like in these next couple of pictures.

Her hair is so thin, I wonder if cutting a little off the bottom will fill her up more on the top. Oh what to do, what to do? The decisions are just too much to take!

Some Recent Pics

So, I feel like I have been busy lately, but I'm not sure what to write about.
Don't you hate that?
So instead I will show lots and lots of my favorite pictures as of late.
Let the good times roll!

A couple weekends ago we had some friends over for a Ghost Adventures party, so I decided to whip up this pretty little thing. I think I took a picture of it because A.) I had never made anything so beautiful and B.) it kind of reminded me of a big donut. Yum.

This next shot makes my heart skip a beat. Hayden entertaining herself while I clean the kitchen.

Guess what I did? I had a girls night out! This rarely happens and I was very excited. My friend, Lee, was in town for a few days, so it was nice to relax with some friends.

This next piece is what Hayden looks like when she goes down a twisty slide by herself. It's a little hard to see because the slide is yellow and the lighting was bad, but you should get the point. It's pretty funny. *No children were hurt in the making of this picture*

It's nice to have friends. I love you, ladies!

I love this shot because it's Carl doing what he loves. And I think it's cute when he does it:)

I'm not exactly sure what Hayden is doing here, but it's awesome.

This is what I saw today when I went to get Hayden from her nap. She had already been sleeping for over 2 hours and she usually wakes up when I open the door, but not today. It was too sweet to not take a picture. Why are sleeping babies so cute?

This last picture is during bath time tonight. I think she has such a sweet smile and it looks like she is really having fun. I love this little girl!

Good times.

Also, Hayden and I went for a walk down to Rod Works just to pass the time and guess what they have out already? Halloween decorations! They were so cute and made me excited for the fall. I have really enjoyed summer and I'm glad it's not over yet, but that doesn't mean I can't be excited for Halloween. And football season.

That's all for now...

Do You Believe in Ghosts?

Let me talk to you guys for a minute. Do you ever discover something so amazing that you find yourself giddy when you think about it? It's a wonderful feeling.

Carl and I share a liking for many things. Mostly, we really like each other. Secondly, we are pretty big fans of Hayden. Ella is up there too, though Carl would beg to differ (only sometimes though, like when she poops in the house, but that doesn't happen very often so she is safe, for now).....moving on.

We have discovered something that can make both of us squeal like little children. Let me introduce you to Zak, Nick and Aaron:
Together, these 3 guys bring us pure entertainment on Friday nights, when the lights are off and our girl has gone to sleep. They lock themselves in some of the creepiest places, known to be haunted, for a night with nothing but their night vision cameras. Awesome. Sometimes I get so creeped out that I need to turn all the lights on in the house when the show is over. Is it real? Probably not. But these guys do a pretty good job at making you a believer in ghosts.

Try it out sometime, if you are in the mood. They just might make you a believer in the paranormal.

Part II: All Growed Up

Remember how I was talking about my baby growing up in that last post? Here are a couple more incredibly cute growing up things she loves to do.

She is really good at "counting" her fingers.

And for the past couple of days she has really liked singing "Old MacDonald", amongst other cute kiddie songs. Just listen to this sweet thing!

Tell me, aren't I justified in thinking she is the cutest thing ever? I thought so.

All Growed Up

I'm having one of those "mommy moments". I am tearing up at things Hayden does because she just melts my heart. I will admit that lately she has had her twerp moments where you think you might go crazy if she throws another tantrum, but then you quickly get over it and remember how cute she is, and how fast she is growing up.

Which brings us to today.

She officially started nursery at church.

And I am officially a sap. I teared up when we dropped her off. I spied on her to make sure she was a good girl. So did Carl. She was so freakin' cute.

And yes, she was a very good girl. She made a fruit loop necklace and drew us a picture. :)

.....I'm not ready for her to grow up anymore. She's my baby!
