My ankle is finally on the mend. I had a shot of something (Cortis - something) and it doesn't hurt anymore. But I have a week of Advil and stretches then I can get out and start running again! Yeah? I've missed it, but it was nice to have an excuse to skip the exercising for three months.
So if I am going to get back into this running business I am going to need some new songs to update my shuffle. I was beginning to bore (only a little) of what I had and I left off hustling around the track to the Star Trek soundtrack by the time my ankle injured itself. It's a great track, don't get me wrong, it's just I...well, there is only so much running you can do imagining a harrowing escape in a pod or trying to get to a unobstructed place to be beamed to safety by Scotty. Loads of fun, but I'm ready to move on to something new...regretfully.
(Have you seen the movie, by the way? Love It!)
SO! I need your suggestions of favorite songs to get me up and going again. I am a little nerdy when it comes to music and steal favorite songs from others cause I don't know how to find them on my own.
Thank you for you assistance.
I will dedicate my next 5K race to you all.
Make it so.

Girls Camp 2010
We had a great time. It wasn't as hot as last year for sure, but the humidity made us just as sweaty.
Just not as sunburned. We had some wicked thunderstorms. Kind of cool.
We crafted...
We hiked...
We washed our dishes...
and nobody got sick so I think the buckets must have worked.
Some leaders (miss wonder) caved and suds them in the kitchen sink. I braved and trusted the dip method set up for us.
We had a lot of great free time to do the high ropes course, swim and hang out.
Second year Maddie. She got a little tired of my picture taking, but that's my prerogative, eh?
She'll be glad later when she sees how dang cute she is at a beehive.
Now that I'm showered and rested...
I'm ready for next year.
And I'm practicing more camp songs!
Love the camp songs.

Whaaaat!
In the grocery store. Next to the fruit cups. My little girl grew up.
LOST A TOOTH? She's only five for heaven sake. I thought I had another year at least. But all her friends are doing it. I gave her the old "if your friend jumped off a bridge would you?" speech and yet, she followed. Right over that edge.
So long youth!
So long tooth.
Fare thee well.
I am an old old woman.
