24 Jul 2011 : Last UHP 6013 Class

We had a good time these 2 days. Lots of food were supplied by coursemates. I brought banana cake on the last day and happily contributed to the pool. To our surprise, someone sponsored CHICKEN CHOPS !!!!
This was a great choice in taking this class as elective subject - Global Issues. The interactive class discussed on poverty, abortion, natural disaster, food crisis, human trafficking and many interesting topics. However, PL could not help on the tears streaming down when the coursemates presented those photos which touched the heart and soul, especially those prematured babies being aborted, famine children,,,,,,,
In this class, PL also bumped into her 4 co-workers who took another course but selected the same subject.

22 Jul 2011 : McD was opening !

We squeezed ourselves in the newly opened McD for dinner. There was a beeline when we reached at 7pm. Not all the seats were taken but it was pretty congested.

22 Jul 2011 : Davaajargal

PL adopted a girl from Mongolia via World Vision.
She sent a letter to PL using World Vision ready made paper. Her dad was a driver. At the place she resided, the average income per family is mere RM95 per month.
PL gathered some small gifts to send to her, as well as some nice cards.

17 Jul 2011 : JB Festival

CY was performing. He was not in good mood for last few weeks. Fortunately, as usual, he behaved when he was on stage. It was an outdoor stage that the environment was pretty hot. CY's violin needed tuning from time to time due the temperature caused the string to be expanded.
Daddy was carrying little CM most of the time and sometimes, he was running about at the compound. We had a good time, so did the kids.

03 Jun 2011 : Transformer

It was CY's first movie.
There was a long queue for the food & beverages counter. When we finally grabbed our combo 3 (1 bottle of mineral water, 1 "cup" of 100 plus & 1 basket of popcorn), it was 12.20pm. It was dark in the cinema 1. We missed the advertisement & preview, but not a single scene of the movie. A family was on our seat that we waited for them to move back to theirs which was not so strategic.
CY was excited. He was urging PL to go. We were out once CC finished his porridge so that he could look after CM. We did not go for the 3D since only left the front row (row A) when PL bought the tickets. Though, for non 3D, the best we got was row D.
To the surprise, CY watched till the last 15 minutes that he dozed off. The movie was 2.5 hours which was a bit lengthy for a sick 5-year-old.
Our next is CARS 2...

02 Jul 2011 : Outstanding

Oopppss.. PL just realized she has missed her facial schedule for over 1 month.
With the recent errands and out-of-town, she has been absent minded. She was thinking to have more time spent with little CY. An idea blinked in her mind : Transformer !
The tickets were sold out for 3D with only the first row left. After dinner at Food & Tea, she ended up getting 2 tickets for the 4th row for tomorrow noon showtime. No 3D neither. Anyhow, it would be CY 1st movie experience in cinema. If he was eager to watch the 3D, we could opt for next few weeks.
