31 Dec 2010 : PH vs PH replacement

Today was announced of Malaysian Public Holidays due to the victory of Malaysian Football Team in SEA. However, PL's company did not observe this but compensate as replacement. The reason given was business continuity. The plant shutdown was just completed that it was difficult to allow the start up to be halted.

CC was at home with little CY & CM. Little CM stay back was planned since his nanny would be away, but CY enjoyed the Malaysian Joy.

Everything went well. The boys even had their nap. They met up PL for lunch near to econ save senai. It was pretty hot and we had economic rice. CY did not like his porridge which was served cold.

After dropping off PL, CC turned back after 5 minutes due to PL dropped her car key at the seat. They then headed to Permas, thinking to meet up Auntie Mama. But she was in Holiday Plaza. They ended up shopping in Jusco. Both boys dozed off on their way back.

When PL was at the door step, she was greeting by CY's grin. And, the little CM was crawling, exploring the house as usual.

What a day !

Hmmm... it was Malaysian PH. CC did not take off. Thus, 4 of us.. (yes, 4...mom, PL, little CY & CM) spent our day together.

Morning
Early at 6am, the 2 little natural alarm clocks wake PL up. After taking a shower, PL brought them to McD for breakfast. PL personally liked McD breakfast especially the sausage muffin, and CY liked the egg & harsh brown of the big breakfast set. Mom would not resist to the morning brewed coffee. Little CM got to taste some of the bread and he was fascinated by the christmas deco in the Jalan Tebrau branch.
We then headed to Tesco. Mom could not get her herbal drink since the shop was still not opened. However, she got herself 2 blouses for CNY. Little CY got himself 2 little board books. Since little CM was enjoying his baby biscuit, we dropped by at the food court so that it would not be too messy to have biscuit bits and stains in the car.
Little CM dozed off on our way back. He had his 30-minute nap on the cosy bed while little CY was playing board game with mommy. It was almost 10am when both kids took their shower/bath.

Afternoon
Little CM dozed off again at 12pm after having his milk. We then had our lunch at Ajisen Ramen. We were pretty full that mom only ordered the 5 pc gyoza, little CY hooked on his oreo ice cream (pretty large with love letter, oreo biscuits, half glass of ice cream as topping & half glass of the corn flakes as the base) and PL ordered the butter corn Ramen.
PL stopped over at Guardian to grab the blood pressure monitor and the collagen drink. Little CM was behaving well and waited in the car seat without any winding.
All of us took our nap at 3-4pm. The rain started to pour at 5.30pm.
CC was back at 6pm.

Evening
We had our dinner at Yi Jia. Little CM was looking for his daddy now and then. He had been calling papa throughout the day. Guess he might know that his daddy was the only one not with us. Besides, we noticed he knew how to wave good bye.

Well, the day was going to be ended soon with our ZzzZZZZ..........

PL & 2 co-workers went to conduct a preliminary visit on a service provider & put up a night at Ipoh. Drove up on 2nd Dec & stopped over a transporter plant at Shah Alam, before heading up to Ipoh.
We had a good dinner on 2nd Dec at the town by trying out the lao huang chicken hor fun. After grabbing some biscuits to bring back, we had a ride around the town. However, most of the shops were closed, except shopping mall.
Early in the morning, we checked out and had our Dim Sum breakfast. The visit went well.

Today, we were trapped into food feast. In fact, we just informed a few friends that there was Penang Laksa. It ended up with 3-4 different types of food - Penang Laksa, Oneh-Oneh, Yam cake, chicken leg claypot, etc. *sigh*

27 Nov 2010 : Bon Voyage

Time flied. We just finihed our final exam for MKH1323.
Bahare will be flying back to Iran on the coming Thursday (2 Dec 2010). She enrolled as full time student and completed all subjects in 1.5 year. We seldom met but kept in touch on latest update of the subjects especially if we took the same class.

09 Nov 2010 : MKH 1626

PL's SHE project II presentation was scheduled to be at noon.

Her supervisor sms her at around 10am because she did not appear in the bilik taklimat like others coursemates early in the morning when the first presenter presented. She responded she would arrive at 11am and she was on time.

Yeah ! They all passed with minor correction needed. PL needed to amend the project according to the Uni format and put the statement on how she used mean / average index on certain analysis.

Anyhow, PL still needs to go through another 1-2 semester. She has changed the subject sequence by completing MKH 1626, instead of completing all other subjects. At least, the toughest MKH 1626 was completed.

04 Nov 2010 : Moving into Quadrant II

It was interesting to read the 7 habit book. PL read the 2 topics of habit 3, Moving into Quadrant II & Quadrant II tool 3 times. 1st time was years back, 2nd time was months ago when she was travelling, and 3rd time was this morning prior the presentation.

The presentation went well after the hearty lunch, sponsored half by company & another half by the plant manager.

The theory could be applied in management. However, how many of the readers believe the concept and apply accordingly ? This needs a paradigm shift.

29 Oct 2010 : Submission

Today, PL was rushing to submit her project. The 3 copies were printed & binded last night. The book shop closed just after she & CY left. Wooosossoshhhh....
But, another hurdle.... The faculty was changed to Faculty of Chemical Engineering, instead of Faculty of Natural Resources & Chemical Engineering.. What !!!??? PL was told when she handed over the copies to the admin.
She rushed back to reprint. Luckily, she reserved some paper that with side ring holes. And, it was done. Well, she then needed to wait till 2.45pm before she could submit her projects due to Friday prayer.
She took the opporunities to submit her 2 individual assignments, as well. She slotted under the door of Dr. Z's office. It was then Dr. Z responded that she recieved the soft copies. *sigh*

17 Oct 2010 : A short trip to spore

We decided to make a trip over the bridge. It was the first time little CM's passport was stamped.

In the morning, we made a detour to Auntie Chris's place but we decided to move on when noticed that their car was not around. We went to Vivo City, as usual. CY was enjoying the playground at the roof top, as well as the "pool".

In the afternoon after tea, we went up to Mount Faber.

When we finally called up Auntie Chris, it was almost 4pm. We made a move at 5pm to avoid the traffic congestion.

CC spotted PL's old wira at the dealer. The little army greenish lady was posting with a price tag , RM17800. We sold it at RM7500 one year ago.

25 Sept 2010 : Quick breakfast meetup

We were having our breakfast at Tmn Daya that Grace called up. PL never expected them to be so early at 8am. Anyhow, PL guided them from One Two Eat Cafe to the kopitiam.
It was about 3 quarters ago we met up at Amy's place. And, it was much to catch up. Amy pursued a better opportunity in a solar factory while Grace was still in the vacant factory. After spending some time in our house, they made a leave.
At the same time, we packed our stuff for a short tgk trip.

24 Sept 2010 : Bye, Penang !

PL's boss called her last Thursday evening to arrange for a business trip. It was pretty rushed that the trip was short since there was no late evening flight back from Penang. However, she managed to secure a flight on 22 Sept afternoon that she got to visit the Queensbay mall. The evening was spent with Carolyn & AiBeoy in different slots.

The 2nd day was spent in the factory, except lunch with Chee. The lunch was hearty with char kuoy teow, penang laksa, loh bak & chee cheong fun. Ha.. 2/3 was in Chee's stomach. That evening was spent with KEng. The surprise to PL's grandma did not work ! Aunt GC brought her out for dinner ! So, we headed back and stopped over at Island Glades for our late dinner. The rain stopped when KEng dropped PL off. Luckily, the non sugar biscuit was not wet due to the rain. PL hang the 2 packs of the biscuits outside her grandma's gate, covered with plastic bag while it was raining dogs and cats. TaiLou spared some time and we had a chat in the Old Town.

The last day in Penang was pretty rushed. To PL's surprise, she got hold of Sharon & we were in the kopitiam for kuoy teow t'ng & leong taufu. In the kopitiam, we bumped into few ex-colleagues. Surprise ! Surprise !

PL joined the closing meeting for 30 minutes and packed herself. She hopped into Aunt GC's car and headed to airport at around 3pm.

Penang, till we meet again !
