27 June 2009 : Long lost skill

The delivery guys were here at 1.45pm. One of PL's ex-collegues did not sell his 1-year old piano to her after he found a job in Ipoh. Thus, the plan of buying a piano was temporarily suspended till CC's friend decided to migrate to Aussie. It was a 3rd hand piano, more than 5 years old. PL measured with Ikea paper measuring ruler : width - 148 cm & height - 109 cm - suspected to be JU109.
Time to polish back the skill. Hehe.. PL's face looked lazy..

26 June 2009 : MJ

MJ passed away. Life is fragile.
PL recalled that Aunt GI brought her to cinema to watch MJ singing when she was a kid. That cinema was closed down long time ago. Now, we only had cineplex.
It was filmed like a MTV. PL only remembered the singer could dance very well with his moonwalk.
Although his personalities were kind of distorted, he was indeed a unforgettable singer by profession.
His songs would be collectibles for most people now.

MJ, rest in peace....

26 June 2009 : More plants in AH

Mom was transferring some plants from PJ to AH . Majority were the ingredients of her cooking. We also had some seeds to be planted. PL & CC were busy arranging the pots / containers, pouring in the soil by mixing them (3 types - normal, burned & organic), watering the plants,,,,,, kind of fun. Little CY also joined in to get his hands dirty.

26 June 2009 : Ignorant Parents

Read below.
How come the community is still so immature of asking people to apologize?
Will the parents intend to have their kids get infected with such virus that might cause fatality ?
If this goes on, who will dare to goto hospital when they suspect they are infected ?

It’s not the family’s fault, parents told
KUALA LUMPUR: Parents have been told to stop blaming the family of the SJK(C) Davidson student stricken with the influenza A (H1N1).
This came following a plea by the father of the 11-year-old pupil, that his family be spared from the hurt, after demands by some people that the family make a public apology for spreading the virus to other students.
School parent-teacher association chairman Dr Lai Boon Hai, in hitting out at people asking for the parents to apologise for bringing their daughter to school, said the matter was beyond the family’s control.
“Everybody I’ve talked to say it’s not fair. If I were the father, I would be angry as well as I would not have intended for my daughter to be infected with the virus,” he said.
Dr Lai, whose child is in Primary One, said the Chinese media should have been more careful when publishing comments from those who wanted the girl’s parents to apologise.
“They need to be more sensitive when airing certain views. We all must be careful in what we choose to say to the media,” he said.
Chinese dailies on Wednesday reported that several parents of the school in Jalan Hang Jebat in Kuala Lumpur had demanded that the girl’s parents apologise for exposing their children to the pandemic flu.
In turn, the father known only as Chow had asked the public and other parents to stop their criticisms.
He has declined to comment further.

19 June 2009 : Happy Father's Day

CY said, " Happy Father's Day !" and handed over this card to his daddy when the car door was opened by his daddy.
PL missed her late father. She was still regret of not spending more time with him. She wished she could celebrate father's day with her dad.
Value the time with family....

06 June 2009 : The Big Club

Went to Singapore for the big club show.
PL was busy printing some photos. If not, we might not be trapped in the 1 hour traffic congestion at the custom. We visited Aunt Chris & Uncle Chee in the morning. With the GPS, we did not get lost. We were stuffed with many food and had tiny compartment left for one scoop of ice cream at the nearby street mall.
We departed to Spore Expo at 12.30pm. PL spotted the popular book fair at Hall 6 and grabbed some books and educative toy for little CY. CY woke up from his nap just before 2pm that we walked to Hall 2 for the show. It was, in fact crowded up with parents, and of course kids !
Met up Aunt Cecilia, Uncle David, Michelle & Robert for dinner.
