It was a tiring week, followed by a long weekend. The company PL worked for observed both National Day & Awal Ramadhan. Thus, the long break came in at the right time just after DNV initial visit. Yeow & CL would be coming over on Sunday prior we moved to new house. CC was still indecisive if he wanted to take a day off next Monday.
The painting of the house was 60% completed. Some areas, especially the exterior was only painted one layer and applied the sealant. The sky was dark almost every day and rains pour down in the afternoon. It indeed slowed down the painting progress.
When we went to take a look this afternoon, the grille & gate were taken down for modification. The grille contrator had started to work on our grille, earlier than we expected.

24 Aug 2008 : A happy Sunday
Morning
Early in the morning (Real early.. at 5.30am...! * sigh*), little CY kicked mommy and crawled to check on daddy who were both sound asleep. It was 6am that he went to the living room and woke his 三叔 up ! And, ah Ta was up earlier. Then, he opened the guest room door and called his 三婶. Thus, all of us were up at 6.30am, taking turns to take shower.
Little CY was the most excited when we decided to go for breakfast. He really loved to have visitors.
After filling up our stomach with dim sum, we made up our mind to be the early bird in Tesco Plentong. Most of the shops in the building were not opened. We only shopped for some necessities in Tesco itself.
We relaxed for a while at home when little CY took bath.
We then went to AH to continue the measurement. Little CY dozed off on the way. Thus, PL & XiaoRu stole some time to shop in Tebrau City.
Afternoon
Lunch was at On Kee. Surprisingly, there was 盆菜available. The visitors left after packing up their luggage.
Evening
CC & little CY went to bb sitter's newly opened canteen to look for something to fill up their stomach for dinner. PL was too full with the hearty meals these 2 days that she decided to stay back.

23 Aug 2008 : A Saturday with visitors
Morning :
PL went to yoga as usual. After the yoga class, we dropped off little CY off at the childcare and headed back for a bath. We had an appointment with the painter at 9.30am. But he only arrived at 10.15am. Again, he suggested on different colors. Without any fuss, we would like to stick to these colors as final decision.
The exterior colors were within the same range, classified as warm, as well as the interior colors.
The painter said with & without the C at the back of color code was no difference. However, CC was going to call up to verify and asked him to stick with the color we finalized.
Afternoon :
We went to browse the furniture at ANTZ after a quick lunch at Taman Sentosa. Not much choice that caught our interest. The adjacent lighting shop did have some attractive lamp but we would like to make a decision later.
Little CY was excited and shouted, "daddy, daddy...mommy, mommy..." when we picked up him.
Chen, XiaoRu & dad went straight to AH to allow Chen to do some measurement. It was almost 7.30pm when we had dinner at HoXiang.
Evening :
Little CY took out his toy cars and lined up to show the visitors. Chen dozed off in the living room at 8pm, followed by little CY at 9pm on the bed.

21 Aug 2008 : Fuwa 福娃
Hey... Don't mistaken it as little CY's gift, it was in fact PL's collection. It was initially thought of eating McD happy meal for several times to collect the cute FuWa for little CY. But it later became PL's enthusiasm to collect all.
McD toys & collectibles were always good in quality, as far as we knew. Example, the hotwheel sport cars were very durable without any damage even handled by the rough CY for months.

09 Aug 2008 : A short trip to KL
We were in KL at around 10 am to attend an appointment with the lawyer. After signing off those many documents, we met up with YCY & CL. We did not have to discuss much on where to go for lunch but Wong Chiew came to all our mind. After the hearty lunch, we headed to Ikea. CL did not join our shopping trip since she was busy with her school.
This time, PL's list was mostly checked except those that she would grab after the house was ready with the built in furniture.

01 Aug 2008 : Step lights
PL was busy with customer audit. She was the site spokeperson for RoHS. Surprisingly she was selected with her limited knowledge and with merely one month experience in current company. Thanks god that it was only a minor concern from customer on the specification issues.CC took leave and grabbed the photos of his exclusive ideas. The kitchen door and window were going to be installed when he was ready to get back. Thus, we would only see the result tomorrow.
