27 Oct 2007 : Raya feast
We went to PL's colleague's house. They had a small Raya feast. The guys just started to barbeque the chicken and grilled the satay when we arrived at 8.30pm. The place was kind of difficult to find since we were not familiar with that area.
Upon arrival, Tham handed over a plastic bag with a wrapped box inside to PL. CY received his 1st birthday gift from PL's girls. And, CY also received his first green packet from PL's collegue.

24 Oct 2007 : Rhinosinus
PL's boss was going to surgery for his rhinosinusitis today.
We still thought that it was because he was heavy smoker. But, the air pollution in pasir gudang did play a role too.

22 Oct 2007 : Old old time..
A old friend sent PL the photo taken during her high school.
It has been a long time. PL nearly forgot she was an athelete, who took part in 4X400 meter, 400 meter & 800 meter. She was asked to try on 1500 meter but she rejected it. She did try on long jump, shot put, high jump and 200 meter but her strength was at the 400 meter & 800 meter which won some prizes. The time on the field was always fun, but the time during competition was always tough. The training usually started aggressively 3 months before the school sport day. And that was the time you could see PL in sun tanned tone and the muscles were as hard as stones.
Now, PL would run sometimes, once in a blue moon. But, the usual exercise that she indulged in was now Yoga.

22 Oct 2007 : "Sign"
We believed Hong was around us.
"Sign" on the day Hong left us :
1. One of his good friends saw him standing at the road side, smiling to him. ( We forgot to ask if at that time, he knew Hong has passed away or not)
2. A moth found dead on one of the desks in the computer shop ownded by Hong.
"Sign" during funeral :
1. PL "heard" Hong calling him or talking to her.
2. PL saw a moth flied off from the canopy when we were about to send him on the road after the final prayer.
"Sign" on 2nd 7th day in Penang :
1. Our neighbour in hometown saw a person wearing white t-shirt in the kitchen, while talking to mom. (Mom knew it was not Yeow since Yeow did not come down from the stairs at the kitchen)
2. Mom noticed the bathroom in the master bedroom was wet and toothpaste was uncapped at 6am in the morning. But, no one used that bathroom in the midnight till 6 am when mom wanted to use it.
" Sign" on 2nd 7th day in elsewhere :
1. Yeow dreamed of Hong talking to him and smiling. But he forgot what he said after waking up. PL left a message at frienster to ask Hong "Yeow is emotional again. Let Yeow dream of you and ask him to move on."
More "Sign" :
1. BC dreamed of Hong talking to his dragon boat friends, looking happy.
2. While taking dinner in KFC, little CY seemd like talking, smiling and playing with someone on 20 Oct 2007. And before that, a moth was flying off from the front door and in front of us when we went out for dinner.
Since it was our family, we did not feel scary but contented, especially he looked happy.

12 Oct 2007 : 8 days
It has been 8 days since Hong passed away.
Still, we missed him from time to time.
PL was going to have 4 days off, including the replacement holidays on today and next Monday. However, CC was not that lucky. He has only one day replacement annual leave and not the replacement holidays.
PL spent the day by going to bank (CDS account), post office, shopping for some grocery and necessities. It was almost 5pm when PL was back home.
These 4 days would be a good rest for PL. The week passed by in a holiday mood. After getting ISO 14001 : 2004 certified, the working environment was kind of relaxed. And, the incoming long weekend was looked forward by us.
ISO 14001 : 2004 certification is one of PL's achievement. Although she did not join the closing meeting last Friday, she has assured her boss after 2-day audit that they would get it through. And, as per expected, it was passed with zero NC (non conformance). Hurray..... And it was the effort of a team...!

06 Oct 2007 : The Last Journey
My beloved brother,
We are going to miss you so much...
人生无常，生死有命。但，还是非常伤心，想念他！
My brother is 31 years old. But, he has lived to his fullness. We were surprised to see the stream of people visited him, over 600 pax including a very very old uncle who said he used to swim with him. The seats were not sufficient even we placed more on the 2nd & 3rd days. Still, his friends did not mind to stand for hours. It made us feel so hurt. And his friends insisted on carry the coffin till mortuary but the mortuary workers did not allow them because some of us were not as fit as those youngsters. Not only family & relatives, his friends weeped and cried for the loss of him in our rest of life.
We are going to miss you....

PL brother, Chun Hong met an accident & passed away this morning.
We wish he did not go through any pain when he closed his eyes to leave this world.

02 Oct 2007 : Bush fire
PL got the news of the bush fire and arranged the security to be alerted in case the fire spred to the plant.
On her way back, PL got a call from her boss on the status. Luckily, the fire was contained by Bomba. It happened at a vacant land, adjacent to a factory which located next to 2 premises where PL was working.
