26 March 2007 : Busy week

It was APM last Thursday till Sunday. Thus, PL took the opportunity to coordinate a fire drill for her plant. Although she did not involve much on APM, she went back to guide her new engineers on their involvement.

Today, the day was hectic with compilation of data and report. However, the new engineers were picking up fast.

And, it was a relief that an engineer approached PL last 2 weeks to transfer under PL's umbrella. She followed through the fire drill and started to request on giving her more tasks.

18 Mac 2007 : Good Morning, KL !

We were greeted by a sunny morning, and buffet breakfast.

Our room became the gathering venue after PL's coursemates turned up, besides CC's sister(Yin), PL's brother (Yeow) and his gf, CL. WY & Tiff sent an sms to invite us to join them for the breakfast. We have taken the breakfast much earlier that we invited them to visit us in our room, instead. They also asked Michelle & family to join us. We had a good chat, with Michelle's 2 kids running around and playing with CL.

Lunch was on Yeow. He recommended Ah Tuan Ee's place. This is a decent place for lunch whenever we miss mom's cook.

17 Mac 2007 : WY & Tiff

Attending WY & Tiff wedding dinner at Oriental Pearl Restaurant, Bukit Kiara Equestrian and Country Resort.

Bb started to "communicate" while the parents were busy chatting. And, huie seemed to be interested in CY.

We stayed over in cititel. There was always a crowd but we did not get any opportunities to walk around.

13 Mac 2007 : Lousy help desk

Last 2 days, when PL was back in office, she found that most of her folders were missing from her hard disk.

The help desk did not do a good job in backup the file when changing her PC. One of them was still trying to retrieve today. They told PL they may be able to retrieve in only .ext folder, instead of the correct file name. It was a shame to the IT outsource personnels.

PL wished that her files would be back tomorrow as the company IT personnel himself took up the retrieving job.

10 Mac 2007 : Back...exhausted..

PL was back late last night due to delay. PL & Belinda had dinner at Nando's in Penang airport as we had extra 1 hour to laze around. KUL-JHR flight waited for PL for connection as this was the last flight while Belinda was arranged to a later flight. PL looked like a panda bear when stepped into the house. She was so sleepy.


The 3-day meeting was surprisingly running well, with accomplishment of our objectives. PL got to walk back to see mom in the evening, not forgetting to steal time shopping in Perangin mall as well .


To catch the morning flight at 7am, PL needed to get up at 4.30am as the taxi would pick her up at 5.15am. The breakfast was not delicious that she would have waited till the transit in KLIA. Upon arrival in the plant, PL visited the nursing room, before meeting all sites' representative.


It has been quite some times that PL did not visit the Penang site. Along the way to any meeting rooms, she might be "kidnapped" by co-workers that she worked with previously. It was nice to see them again.

And, PL also found that a coursemate was working in the Penang plant !

05 Mac 2007 : Busy busy busy

We found that we have less and less time.

PL finally stole some time and came back slightly early to cook dinner. She would be on business trip next 2 days.
