30 Sept 2005 : Fly-day again....

This is great, especially PL can have a good rest.
PL finally finished most of my tasks & projects.....assignments....

Still left a few items to be closed. But, it calmed PL down. PL's temper was at a blow.

CC came back talking much about his company's bbq party.
"U know, there is one company selling all types of bbq staffs..."
" All are prepared... why we never know abour this ?"

PL did send to CC once. But he forgot......

27 Sept 2005 : Rita & Katrina ...Viral infection....

Hurricane is getting on my nerve after reading the paper. (Posted some photos from the paper)

World is changing.. .. ..

Typhoon Damrey also hit Vietnam today....There are typhoon, hurricane.... Still remember we drove along the East Coast , I did mention, " The sea/ocean is so closed to the land, what will happen if there is a flood or storm ?"

"Rita cut power to more than 2 million people in Texas and Louisiana, after dumping up to a foot (30 cm) of rain and lashing the region with 120 mph (190 kph) winds. Utility companies said it could take a month to fully restore electricity."
"The death toll from Hurricane Katrina climbed to 1,069 on Sept 23."

So,,,so......here is more : If there is a major outbreak of SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) or influenza, air travel is the most probable route of international infection.



Headlline reads :Dengue deaths worrying Government !!!
Death toll till today : Selangor (17), Perak (5), Negri Sembilan (5) and Penang (4).

26 Sept 2005 : on leave

Both CC & PL were taking leaves these 2 days.
Back in Tgk for a traditional praying on CC's mom after 2 years leaving us. (Not sure how to call it in English, 祭日）

PL got a message that DOSH officials paid a surprise visit to the plant. PL viewed it positively that it is an opportunity to portrait what the company has done on the safety concern. Accordingly, the officials are happy with the practice and all the records. GREAT !!!

24 Sept 2005 : Oxy Pac & ERT offsite training

Another good Saturday morning.
However, PL needs to get up early for her ERT team again even with her bad cough.

PL has been considering to join the offsite training due to her severe cough that lasted for 2 weeks. With her responsibility as appointed by boss, she decided to join the first offsite training.

After the training by Preba, PL & ERT members left the company with the advice from R, "PL & A, both of you take care of ERT members".

As an observer, PL wishes she can notice what are the issues & improvement in ERT team. PL attended her SHO course over the weekends & were not able to join the training for quite some times.

PL & the team had great Hawaiian Night with lots of activities.

CC was sending sms to PL to remind her on eating cough medicine. Worried on her health. CC himself cooked maggie mee for dinner.. Poor CC... ;p

17 Sept 2005 : Sick ..heavy head....

It was a busy weeek.
PL's team suddenly was called to close some items for the yield troubleshooting.
Lucky, the new engineer & technician did contribute in some ways that it was not as hectic as it would be.

With hectic working hours, PL fell sick on the beginning of week. Thought the cough would be gone in 2 days but it striked back on Friday.

Both CC & PL were sick..... CC with flu & PL with cold...

CC was going for his Malaysian Unit Trust examination. His ambition to indulge in this field during his passtime.

Hate falling sick..head is heavy with no strength to "mess" around....

11 Sept 2005 : Burger King

This morning, we went to Burger King for breakfast after a search of "what to have for breakfast?" This is the only Burger King in JB. There was a countdown plate at the Petronas gas station since last few weeks. PL prefers Burger King to other fast food. Even PL was sick with flu and a little high fever, she still insisted of eating these.

3 Sept 2005 : Last day....

Morning...

Yeow drove back to KL at 4am in the morning while PL was still sleeping soundly.
Mom looked groomy due to Yeow's leaving.








We brought mom to taste the dim sum at Tmn Pelangi Indah....and also ordered prawn mee (known as Hokkien mee in Penang). She likes the vege dumplings. The prawn mee was a failure on the morning with too many ajinomoto.

Afternoon

After we dropped Hong & BC at custom, we cook whatever piled up in the freezer. Again, PL burned her hand while operating the oven. Mom had her afternoon nap....with loud snoring....Special request from mom to visit JJ again for her moon cake.
We had a sip of brewed coffee (Americano & Capuccino) at StarBucks.





Evening

Hong & BC came back from Spore early this evening that we had our dinner at 和香. Curry fish head (mom's favourite-She will learn to cook this dish which is different from Penang), 小白菜, satay, 芙蓉蛋，田鸡。 What a hearty dinner that we skipped supper.

2 Sept 2005 : All in JB

Today, all decided to have a day in JB.

So...it is a shopping spree....we spent our time in Giant Plenton, Jaya Jusco Permas Jaya, Eden Free Tax Zone,,,,,,,, The shopper who grabbed the most items is.....ten ten ten...... MOM !!!!! Her shopping bags comprise mooncakes, t-shirt, chocolate, packet drinks,,,,,,,,,,, Hong purchased 5 different types of beer from Zone Free...hehhehe...and we found a way to make it free of tax....

A lunch with roast chicken & duck, comes with peanut soup....

A dinner at Nijyumaru...PL planned this since her increment.
