27 June 2005 : Back from Penang

25 June 2005 (Saturday)













Took leave & went back to Penang for 2 days.




Tai Lou's wedding is the main reason we rushed back besides meeting mom.

Came across a few PL's primary school classmates.

And, even met up a vendor who happened to be Tai Lou's high school classmate. What a small world.

Missed the church ceremony due to transportation.







26 June 2005 (Sunday)


PL went for a walk in Botanical Garden with KE, PCGHS classmate.
Had a 2-circle-of-walk chat.
PL explored a few beautiful shot along the way.

Botanical Garden is a place for jogging, hiking, tai chi, morning walk, meeting up with friends, organizing gathering..& many more...






Afternoon was hot & humid.
After watching DVD, we went to grab Pasembur & Cendol.


Watered the plants on the last floor as per instructed by mom. We plucked some ampula & also found out which is the pineapple "tree". These are some of the plants/flowers available : Ampula, Pineapple, papaya, flowers.....

23 June 2005 : Work / Seminar

Morning

PL went to work for half day...clearing all balanced tasks, delegate tasks to technicians, replies as many enquiries as possible,,,,,,

Aftenoon

PL was sent to NPC for seminar. Hmmm... A good channel to share information.

Evening

CC was fed with PL's new dish...生面 (mee), 鸡脚 (chicken leg), 鱼丸 (fish balls)，，，
Yeow called. He will be in Singapore for 4-day training next week. PL will be in Sarawak on the same period of time.

22 June 2005 : Hurray !

PL completed her Paper 1 & Paper 2. Now, we will wait for the result after 2 weeks.

Due to excessive leaves, PL is still thinking how to spend the balance. Perhaps, leaves will be just forfeited.

This month is kind of hectic as PL needs to fly to srw plant next Monday.

20 June 2005 : Exam leave

At this age, PL still adheres to continuous improvement in acquiring skill & knowledge as company policy. Besides, by regulation, she needs to go through these examination.

Still could not figure out how to use HELLO to post photo properly. Will take a look after examination. So, for those that wonder why some photos are not seen, cross your finger & photos will be BACK.....

19 June 2005 : Durian 榴莲

Good morning !

Our breakfast is CC's dumplings & also this tropical fruit, durian...






This is PL's 1st durian taste in year 2005.

A unique fruit that either you like it very much or dare not lay a hand on it.

18 June 2005 : Father's Day Satay Lok Lok 父亲节的沙爹朱律

Went to Melaka with CC's family.
Celebrated Father's Day by a treat at Capitol Satay Celup, at Jalan Bandar Kaba, Melaka. ( More details on Melaka can be found at http://www.melaka.net ) PL & CC missed this local delicacy when they were in Melaka to meet up T during last trip at beginning of this month.



















After filling up our stomach, we looked for the famous Jonker Walk 文化街 at Jalan Hang Jebat. It is not difficult to find. Near to red house.










We were back at around 10 am.
