Went to Rawang to attend MS's wedding. Met up with old friends & also an ex-colleague. Lots of catch up..& lots of "old time stories"......

We found some time to go time square & sunway pyramid.






And also had 烧鱼 in Petaling Street



...yummy....still remember the taste..







......And,,,,yeow brought us to have 海鲜面 the next day for lunch....












Time to head back.

19 May 2005 : days within weekend

Last 2 day, PL went for a seminar - Towards a sub-micron contamination control in DSI, NUS in Singapore, together with her colleague, M. Came across a KMS colleague, Eric.

After the seminar at 4pm, PL visited her aunt at Sunset Terrace. Had a good chat.



GL aunt brought PL to Spageddies Italian Kitchen in Paragon. CC arrived at around 6.30pm as per agreed.
Huey Ming & Uncle Chee also joined us for dinner.






Uncle Chee dropped us at Check Point. We arrived home at around 10pm.

15 May 2005 : Another 8.30 am - 5.00 pm

What a day....! PL went for another 8.30am - 5.00pm for SHO final briefing. This is to prepare for the coming examination. Met up those coursemates & joked about. Also greeted each other with " How are you ?" & " When are you going to take exam ?".
CC recommended a hairdresser to PL to get rid of her messy hair after the briefing.

Was there any update on the book shelf ?
Here is the latest status of the book shelf...
We finally managed to assembly it last Monday.
PL filled up the column but left a few for CC.



PL spotted this corner & snapped a photo on the shoes..

9 May 2005 : After a fight....

After a fight, we went to carefour to get PL's long awaiting DIY book shelf last evening.



We grabbed it for only RM109 !!! Great sale......

8 May 2005 : New trial

This morning, PL & CC went to wet market for grocery shopping.
The auntie mixed up the grocery that she sold dumpling skin to PL as well.

PL only found out when she counted the items at home...
"No wonder...was wondering why so expensive !"

Well, PL decided to try out the steamed meat dumpling. 将错就错。

Ta...la...Here is the result....

7 May 2005 : One day before Mother's Day

PLwas impatient that she sent several emails to the online florist to check on her mother's day gift.
Finally, mom called PL at around 4pm...

"Ling, how much did you spend for the flower basket ?"
"Mom, how's the flowers & fruits ? Are they fresh ?"
"Yes, there are fresh...the basket contains kiwi, apple, grapes..."
"Mom, happy mother's day..!"

PL could notice the surprise & happiness in her voice. This is the 1st time mom received flowers from her daughter. Highly recommend rose.cc. They provide good service to ensure item is delivered with special request.

Noticing there was not many people in the pool, we went down for a swim.

Food again...
One of my friends says, " seem like u blog lots on food, r u becoming 'yellow faced wife' ?"

I made agar-agar with "atap seed" bought in Penang.

2 May 2005 : Long break

One day before Labour Day
We were going to have a long weekend. Had a relaxed morning.
As usual, we went to kopitiam for a light breakfast -nescafe, kopi ais, 芋头糕 & 油条.
After doing housework together, we headed back to CC's hometown.


Labour Day
1st May is Labor Day. We have a replacement today.
It was Sunday. We went to Melaka Mahkota Parade to meet CC's friend, T coming back from NC for vacation.




We took lunch at Shakey's as we arrived a bit early.

There was a messy traffic congestion that the group from Seremban is late for 2 hours. So PL went shopping while CC & T chatted in Starbuck.


They planned to drop by at Kapitol for satay celup.

PL & CC decided to leave early for home cook dinner after seeing the crowd.

The group later went to Ong Kim Wee for satay celup.

One day after Labour Day
Back home at around 6pm after dropping SL's bf at Skudai Parade & SL & brother at custom.
PL cooked 麻辣 steamboat for 2.
