29 April 2005 : A day without boss

This was a day that PL's boss was on leave. Although PL was instructed to act, nothing special happened. Can notice the peers' pressure but it has been common.

Last night, PL have a department dinner at Yew's Cafe in Tmn Molek. A great place.
CC dropped PL & went off after a while. Most of the people were late that those arrived earlier ordered. It was around 9pm when we had dinner !

23 April 2005 : Back in Penang !

JOURNEY
We met Wai Kwan & hubby, and even PL's GM last evening on the same konsortium...! What a coincidence...!
Well...well... after 9 hours (slept soundly mainly due to last evening swim & mee rebus / mee bihun at Yong Peng), we were back in Penang at around 7am.


Hong fetched us at Sg Nibong.

BELATED QING MING
Went to temple to pay respect to PL's dad. Brought some fruits & "yin zhi" prepared by mom, bought 2 sets of "xiang" and a "lien hwa" candle.


The nun came to chat with us.
Dropped by at grandma's place.



ERRAND
Went to bank......Luckily, grabbed a motor. If not, we would have insufficient time to go to several banks.

FOOD
We missed Penang food.
Today, we have home cooked Hokkien mee & Penang Laksa & Penang Road cendol.
Not forgetting PL's mom dishes.....

Late evening, we planned to go for sup kambing.


BOWLING
Hong brought us to Penang bowl. One of CC's favourite game.



After 2 games, we went for sup kambing.

17 April 2005 : Last day of SHO course

After a day of fire safety --> break --> fire safety --> lunch --> confined space --> break --> confined space, we took our place & say "confined space"....

14 April 2005 : KL business trip

PL went for a supplier plant audit with a counterpart from Penang.
This was the 1st time PL took KLIA express. Nothing special.

In KLIA, PL got the opportunity to have her BURGER KING again. ;p

While waiting for flight, PL snapped a few photo. Guess what are those ????









Arrived home at around 8.30pm.

Last time, PL used to like business trips but not now. Tiring.

Morning

8.30 am : Had dim sum as breakfast.
11 pm : PL went for facial.

Afternoon

3 pm : Visited Irene.

Evening

6.30 pm : Back home. Cooked herbal soup & rice.
7.15 pm : Went jogging around apartment.
7.35 pm : Back home.
7.45 pm : Took shower.
8.00 pm : Fried vegetable.
8.15 pm : Had dinner.

5 April 2005 : Qing Ming

Took 2 days leave for Qing Ming in CC's hometown. Took photos with phone but unable to download. Still finding a way to make the IR work.



This week, PL only works for 2 days. Took leave on Mon & Tue for Qing Ming. And, there will be a public holiday for Johor on this coming Friday.

3 April 2005 : Good morning ..!

Calm & peaceful morning.



But, PL needed to attend her 18-day of SHO class. Another 2 days more in April to complete 20-day course.

Had breakfast in usual kopitiam.

For dinner, PL cooked "bak nui", "bao be" + "Dou miao", petai with chilli.....
not forgetting the rice.

We took leaves for Qing Ming. So, have a relaxed invaluable moment now.

2 April 2005 : CNY left over

Till today, we still do not finish cny's biscuits.
